Thank you so much to Yoyoka for the splendid “Fool in the Rain” cover. I am so thrilled! Yoyoka’s power, pace, precision, and thunderous right foot are incredible, as always. I am amazed at how seemingly effortlessly she handles the iconic Bonham shuffle at the beginning, and the Samba drum break in the middle was totally grand! Perhaps one day you could play it live with your family band; for some reason I think Shido would rather enjoy the referee’s whistle solo. Thank you again for your video, I am sure I will be wearing it out on repeat in the coming days!

@@427Musclecar Sina drum girl has also done this song but it's totally lacking the swing groove and controlled power John Bonham used. Very few players can grasp the unique style of this song. Yoyoka is playing this as if it's a walk in the park for her. We all know this is very difficult to play correctly. This is a highlight of her playing ability. It's breathtaking
I've been an admirer of Bonzette since she was about 3 yrs old. Her videos then showed her exuberance for playing the drums, especially on Led Zep tunes.

I have seen many, many drummers attempt to play this song. While they often get the parts correct, they cannot replicate the feel. Yoyoka is the loan exception. Perfect feel, perfect technique, and perfect tone. She is my favorite living drummer.

This Led Zep song really stood the test of time. I was a teen when this song came out and I remember a lot of my friends were torn about whether it was a good song or not, because it didn't sound Zep enough. But, time has vindicated it. This is a song you can just sort of go in a trance with, and then that Samba break-down hits and you realize what good musicians these guys were and what a good sense of 'what will work' they had as well. JPJ was great on keyboards as well, and this is actually one of Jimmy Page's best ever solos, but because he did it with the buzzing distortion sound instead of pure electric guitar, it doesn't get quite the recognition it deserves.
The guitar sound on the solo is a MXR BLUE BOX. It's a FUZZ/OCTAVE pedal. Very cool...
It's all about how you come out of the bridge into the solo, and Yoyoka did it perfect!
This girl has got the John Bonham feel, groove and power. And it is a joy to behold!
Simply incredible. I’ve heard many drum covers of this song, but this young lady has something that is hard to teach, the nuanced flow, and groove of this song. She has the most natural and accurate rendition of Bonham’s style that I’ve ever heard… and she makes it seem effortless. Just close your eyes and listen…she’s right there in the pocket, totally relaxed. I’m just totally blown away. Congratulations Yoyoka, you have a very rare and special gift. I can only hope that you also delve into the world of jazz drumming someday as well. I can’t wait to hear what you do in the future!

That song features Bonzo's best and most difficult to play drumming in it and she just matter of factly plays it PERFECTLY! That's why she's one of the best drummers on the planet, already!!

This is one of my favorites, topping the list of Zeppelin's massive hits. Yaaaaayyy Yoyoka! Masterfully kills it! Her timing is impeccable. Yoyoka's Energy is Irresistible! Yoyoka never misses a beat. She is so focused and accurate. Her characteristic abandonment to joy she always displays is so much fun. She does what she does best! Yaaaaayyy Yoyoka, I love her even more! More Yayoka, more Yoyoka, more Yoyoka. She is one of a kind and the very best!
At about 3:45 is the part that always makes my entire nervous system react in the most beautiful way!!! The essence of great music!

That girl is phenomenal! she's like a receiving antenna for the souls of all great drummers past and present. Beautiful. Simply beautifully done Yoyoka. One of my favourite drum grooves of all time. All the more poignant as Bonzo did it in one take, and never got to play it live. This is the first time I realized how polyrhythmic it is when you go to the bell of the ride cymbal section. Flawless. Love it and never stop!

John Bonham took different style drumming classes. Using a style fusion, randomly, he took his drum playing to extraordinary heights, raising the bar for everyone.

You continue to amaze Yoyoka. I really enjoy your drum covers so much, especially the Led Zeppelin ones. There is another drummer from this time period that might interest you. His name is Bill Ward and he played for Black Sabbath as did Ozzy Osbourne when he got his start in the 70's. Bill Ward is Jazz influenced, he's got swing and he rocks hard and heavy. I would love to hear you cover one of their songs, maybe Hand of Doom off of their second album Paranoid. There are a lot of changes and I think you might enjoy it. Even if you just listen to it I would be curious what you think. Anyone else want to hear Yoyoka do a Black Sabbath cover? Suggestions?
