There's nothing like getting so many notes just by changing the Intensity from a real drum. A trigger is not even analog 1 to 1 with a tuned drum head and on top of that it's covered to digital before it's taken back to analog. Yes acoustic is more expensive because everything that is needs to support it but it's worth it

I just had to learn it as exact as I could. I was able to eq Bonham's drums out a little bit, as much as I could but you can hear the both of us if you listen carefully. Thanks for checking it out.
Flawless Mumby. This is the best one I have seen out there with zero mistakes and every strike matched. Bravo. Love the whistle cut. I did mine with the 2 finger whistle. I just made my first attempt at this last month and a I failed miserably, but I still posted it just so people can understand just so hard this song is to play
Ya, rhythm and grooved perfectly. Not the easiest of songs to cover but dialed in exceptionally well. Incredibly well played and super clean. Very, very well done.
"hocus pocus snare", lol. The recording of that 10" snare, the whistle and shakers were an afterthought. After I recorded the main part, I thought, "Why not just go all out?", so I added that stuff later and just edited it in. I realize this is a few years old - but I wanted to say think you. I've been wanting to learn this groove for some time - and I just didn't feel that I was at the proper skill level. Thanks to the help of your beautiful play style and camera work - i was actually able to learn the basic hi-hat, snare, kick drum shuffle groove (with the exception of that kick on the trip of 4. that will take me some time. I have always been a big fan of this song, and I have a secret desire to be a drummer...bc I could play not other instrument), and I have ALWAYS thought, this has to be the hardest song to play drums for, hardest of all time. That’s part of the enjoyment of the song! He makes it look achievable!

When I joined a Zeppelin tribute band several years ago, I saw this song on the song roster and knew I had to bone up on it. I practiced it a lot before having to play at a show. That was 6 or 7 years ago. I guess any difficult piece of music is, well, difficult if you haven't played it before. But once you learn it, it's pretty easy. Thanks for checking it out.

I saw it on the song roster and thought "Oh boy" lol. It was tough for a couple weeks of really wood shedding it, but it got smooth enough fairly quickly and I'm very comfortable with it now.
