So basically, the lobotomy glitch takes place due to the way the Earthmover fight is programmed. The brain of the Earthmover is not connected to the same sort of movements that the laser walls do. Normally the laser wall doesn’t hit the brain because the Earthmover’s head remains still. But if you activated the brain fight then somehow escaped the arena, the lasers will hit the brain due to the Earthmover moving its head around, causing it to fry itself to death. This is the basis behind the Lobotomy glitch, originally it activated the brain fight when going anywhere near its head, so you could just fly up to it and poor old benjamin will die in seconds. Now though due to certain adjustments made this doesn’t happen, so you need to break the game and clip out of bounds in order to actually kill it this way.
Lobotomy was fun and all, but even by Ultrakill's standards was just too easy for a regular Joe to pull off. This, however, is the exact layer of chicanery that Hakita would not patch at gunpoint.
In my mind this how V1 canonically did this level, the wall glitches are just V1 busting through the walls like Kool-Aid Man, and its basically dancing around the EarthMover after giving it a quick Lobotomy and killing everything on it
honestly way more intense than the regular level, although the regular time limit is nice and lenient it would've been cool to have like 1 more wave of enemies to really push the player to their limits
If you are playing through the campaign for the first time and reach this level, you might not have enough time to clear all of the enemies. Remember, a lot of us have played Acts 1 and 2 several times before Violence dropped, some of us P ranking P-1 and P-2.
