I do these rotisserie chickens several times a year. - One time I had three (from Costco) on the spit at the same time - the spit was sagging! - lol Often they are on sale at a local grocery store for $5 or $6 a bird. - Usually ~90 minutes cook time - I also use the Meater probes - I put all four in to get an average. - Cheers!
Where you been hiding. I haven't got a posting from you till the live in a long time. I do a similar cook on my Weber with indirect heat (Beer Can Rub but no beer can). Won't beat Rotisserie but it comes close, and the family loves them. Your chicken looked mouthwatering. Nice and juicy.
Hey man glad to see you back. Yeah took a bit of a filming break to sell my house and all the things associated with that. Aka. Cleaning, more cleaning, aaaand more cleaning. 🤦♂️all the time it seemed. Haha
Jabin, I don't have a rotisserie so I usually spatchcock a whole bird. The issue I have is the skin dries out so much when spatchcocked. Have you spritzed a chicken like you would a pork butt? ACV & water, etc?
You mentioned the breast were 160 & 164. The thighs were 168 & 169. I’ve read that the dark meat should cook to ~180. Will the thighs and other dark meat be fully cooked? Thank You, Dan Ayo
There no need to Rotisserie a chicken any more> But you can do turkeys. Reason Walmart WHOLE ROTISSERIE CHICKEN IS? Hot ready to go for under 5 dollars. Heck i can't even buy a whole chicken for less than 8 bucks Plus the seasoning, Time of cooking it

Top class man
Respect from Dublin Guinness time.
Thanks man. This is one of those ways of cooking that’s a lot of fun to do!
Such a great result every time!
Every time!!!

Been waiting on this vid since the live stream. Thank you. God Bless and stay safe.
Love it! Can’t go wrong with a smoked chicken!
You got that right! Even my oldest son who’s not a fan of chicken devoured this one.
OMG, this looks amazing!
Thanks man. It did not disappoint whatsoever.
Could not agree more, rotisserie or spatchcock chicken is bomb
Yeah. I don’t recall ever having a bad bird when done either of those ways. Must be magic.
Looks great Jabin👍🤓👍❤️. Thanks for sharing. Much love from here in Michigan 🫶
Thanks Lisa. I find that simple done well always turns out so good.
@@PostalBarbecue 👍❤️👍
Dude chicken fresh off the pit is the best chicken you can get. So juicy and tender and perfect 🔥
Must try😂
Looks great, here in Ontario Canada it's -10C so I'll have to awhile LOL
Brrrrr. That’s the reason why I’m on the west coast of Canada. Haha.
What model rotisserie you have?

Yeah, I’m always amazed at how many you can get on there.

Your rubs are out of stock, any idea when they will become available again. Thanks, cheers.
Recipe links are dead.
I love to rotisserie chicken or prime rib. I don't like the clean up of the spit. Nice video. Take care
Yeah the clean up is a bit of a pain but worth it given the results right?!
Can’t do this. I have a Traeger and a flat top bbq.
Time to add another grill then? Haha. This is a good excuse I’d say!
@@PostalBarbecue just bought the flat top. Partner would kill me. Lol
@@mikejanson1939 “you won it” remember. 😂

The thighs look a bit raw... Check out 8.30 in the video.

You have to get one made up and sent out to me.
AND SO
Cheers
What's the rotisserie attachment you're using on your kettle? I need to look into it!
This is the rotisserie for the SNS Grills kettle. There’s a link to them in the description for you. 🔥🔥
@@PostalBarbecue I didn't know they had one, thanks! I'll check that one out!
