Hey there Joe, appreciate you commenting and watching the video. I am having a lot of fun with this rotisserie. That Sexy Chicken is good stuff goes real good with a variety of meats. If you need more let me know, I got a new steak rub i would like for you to try out too. thanks again brother.
Juicy looking chicken with great caramelization. I’m sure the flavors were outstanding. That rotisserie of yours is getting a nice workout. Thanks for sharing 👍🏾!
Hey there Jeff, appreciate you watching and commenting. Yes indirect heat. I never even thought about putting the rotisserie kit on th WSM. I wonder if it would fit there 22 in model. I normally use a heat deflector in my WSM however I only have the 18 in model. I may have to get 22 in WSM just to try. lol. No water pan chickens are usually pretty moist. I would use a pan to catch the dripping though, keep them off the coals. thanks again
Great. I have the 22. The rotisserie kit will fit it. I also have the Gabby's Grill for it for open flame cooking. You can also get a rotisserie for the Gabby's. So rotisserie covered in the WSM or open on the Gabby's.
Great Looking meal Chicken really good, I think I have to get some of that glaze. What temp was kettle at. Have you seen only fire makes a shish kabob accessory. What size chickens were those, lately the chickens I see are like Cornish hens.
Appreciate the questions John. Glaze was real good just be careful not to let it burn, but it taste good for sure. You can use it for a dipping sauce as well. Kettle was steady at 400 F. yes I have seen those kabobs from only fire they look pretty cool. The chicken where roughly 4 to 5 lbs I got them from Freshfields here in Orlando. They are usually a pretty good price too, between 3.50 and 4 dollars for a whole chicken. thanks again
Hey there Christian, I have the Weber Performer 22 inch. Not sure, I think the lid and how the set may be different. I know that Cajun Bandit makes one that does fit. T-roy's has one on his WSM th-cam.com/video/mGkypvuoIss/w-d-xo.html and so does Phil th-cam.com/video/MiFAUGA-Pts/w-d-xo.html here is the link to cajun bandit website www.cajunbandit.com//category/weber-wsm-kettle-rotisserie-kits/22-5/ hope it helps thanks again for watching 😎
Sure I actually have a video on it How to make a Raisin and Pecan Coleslaw like a BOSS. th-cam.com/video/UNhCWAhF5MY/w-d-xo.html thanks appreciate you watching. You can omit the raisins and pecans if you prefer. But makes for a tasty side dish.
Nice vid. I prefer to season the chicken before binding it together though. So you get some flavors in between the legs and wings and the chicken. Some smashed garlic in there will also do the job, as combined with the melting fat this covers the chicken while rotating. It you like garlic chicken put slices of garlic behind the skin by making small incisions where you put them in. Rotisserie, a guaranteed adventure. Keep it up!
One of the best looking rotisserie chickens I have ever seen. Really good stuff!
Terrific video! Love that you showed the entire process. Thanks!

Have you ever tried evaporated milk in your mashed potatoes before? My ex wife always made hers that way and they were amazing.
Yo J.P. what was the total cooktime for the birds?
What size is your grill? I have a 22 inch WSM and I'm wondering if I can fit 3 chickens on the rotisserie.

Good Work Brother. Try adding wood pellets. But great video.

Whats up KB, appreciate you being the first to watch. Thanks
Thank you 👍👍
you do know its easier if you keep the baskets together when you fill them-- then separate them
Delish
I wish this weber rotisserie could spin a little faster.. im going to try a whole pork head on this ...
Whole pork head, that would be cool.
How about trying a Turkey
No problem, Ill see if i can get a turkey and give it a try.
You missed seasoning inside of the chicken ......😞
Sorry about that, appreciate you watching.
Looking great. Doing some chicken breasts and lollipop drumsticks right now with Sexy Chicken. Can't wait until it's ready to eat
Thanks Mark, appreciate the compliment. That Sexy Chicken is starting to get some traction, thank you for your support.
Speed it up
Rotisserie counter weight
You put the sauce on too soon, bud. Always save the sauce for the last fifteen to thirty minutes so that the sugar doesn't burn.
Seems like a lot of work to cook a meal
