I bought a Hoover GUV (garage utility vacuum) years ago awesome vacuum the unit itself mounts on the wall and has a 30 foot hose the suction is extremely good I use it on my cars all the time
Chris I just have to say you got the best channel man! My favorite part is how you compact everything in small spaces and you make it work! You don't have a huge shop and acres of land to use but you make it work better then the guy with tons of space! Inspirational for sure. Keep it up man! Also I own a towing company so I love to see the tow truck vids! Thanks, Ryan
The retractable hose feature works better than I thought. Seems like it would be handy in the garage just for general cleanup work. Thanks for the review.
Mr NNKH , I really enjoyed your objectivity on this product , giving the viewer the pro,s and cons , making it easy for the potential buyer to make the decision of wether it meets there needs.Great job , keep rolling , Regads Rob .
ive got the retro OG whole home jetsons looking vac in my basement/workshop. Theres ports all over the house. plug the vac hose in to the wall and the vac turn on automatically.
According to their website it's 1200w. If that is in fact what it runs, that's the maximum continuous power draw from a 110v 15a circuit (110v x 15a = 1500w), but you should only run 80 percent of max circuit breaker rating continuously, ergo 1200w. They also need some headroom for the motor to start up. You can run 1500w from a space heater but it's pushing it. If your voltage is higher (120v) you can get away with a bit more, or if you have 12ga wire and a 20a breaker you can get away with more too. My rigid "5hp" shop vac only draws 9 amps so that's a bit less than this. So if that rating is correct, the weaker suction is just because of the smaller yet longer hose. Still cool to have though. -- Ronnie
I've been eyeing this up for a while now but haven't pulled the trigger on it. I love the idea of it but I think I might wait to see if they make any improvements to it. I have the Giraffe tools wall mounted pressure washer pro and love it. Thanks for the review!
Naa household use maybe. Stick with old faithful. Does what it says on the tin. Hose jam definately a prob on long hose. Can see cutting and gaffer tape ahead for sure. Free is good but not allways better. Go NNKH >>>>>>>>
Maybe that tool was made on a Friday, which is why the Label was Crooked and put together as fast as possible, but it looks decent for fine dirt and other things to
Dear Mr. Chris. I like this vacuum cleaner and especially the new idea although your reveal sounds quite negative. The device is definitely strong enough (and that although it has a very long hose). Nobody needs to suck rodent nests with it and one shouldn't even do so. By the way: If you suck rodent crap into a shop vac, a lot of fine dust is blown out of the machine with the air instantly. Rodent crap, urine, poo and dust is way more unhealthy than most people know/think. And not only for the respiratory tract system. The giraffe vac is even operated with a remote control. Quite useful if you are so far away from the device itself. So far I have only one suggestion for improvement: The vacuum cleaner seems quite loud. That's something that mustn't/shouldn't be (at least not nowadays). But I guess for a price like this it can't be fabricated quieter (therefore it's okay for me). Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all 4 of you (unfortunately no cute little Gus 💚 in this video, sigh).
Man that would be convenient. I saw the prebuy, I think this is more like a $200 vacuum. I also have a old Craftsman thats like 20 years old at this point. Still sucks hard (in the best way possible)
I would have to disagree with that. Long splinter type pieces can get sucked up and then get wedged in the corrugated hose. Which leads to other things getting caught on it and then a buildup. But yes in general a small head will help reduce risk of clogging but still possible
I could have sworn I had a set of socket wrenches made by this company but they don’t appear to make any hand tools according to their website. Guess I’ll have to double check the garage…
It looks good. I would move it away from where you have it unless you are filming a road runner cartoon. Jen is the road runner lol😂. It looks like a machine with plenty of features but I would worry about clogs in a line that long. In my shop I have an old black and decker which will suck your fingernails off. Looks like a good product. Is Jen going to post part 2 of your trip out west? Peace! Saxman
Hey Chris, have you (or any other users) had any issues with your retractable pressure washer? If so, was Giraffe's support good? My biggest concern with new products is parts replacement and cost of those parts. It is only a matter of time before a hole is worn in that hose, or some other damage, and if the replacement is $100, that kinda sours the whole deal.
I have one of their wall mount pressure washer. Its loud junk. I thought it would be nice to have a compact all in one unit. Says its over 2kpsi but my landa 1100psi electric unit runs circles around it. I think ill pass on the vacuum
Looks like really cheep chineese made low quality stuff that they mass produce and just change the sticker with the name you want, maybe useful for very sporadic home use but that ain't gonna last long
Looks fairly homeowner grade. But a neat idea. I do like the tracking for the hose to force it to reel properly.
Yeah. It would be nice if it had a three or four inch hose and much more suction. But for light duty it's pretty decent. Neat concept.

I appreciate that man and thanks very much for tuning into the videos. Would love to get a larger shop one day but for now this one works great
@@NNKH2 Absolutely. Can't wait to see your journey man. I wish you and Jen nothing but the best!
Honestly you could probably mount the wand holster at ground level and leave the vacuum way above the door and just wire up a on / off switch.
You did the quick action test with military precision, good job.👍
The retractable hose feature works better than I thought. Seems like it would be handy in the garage just for general cleanup work. Thanks for the review.
Getting to the point real fast as usual! Thanks, Chris.

Had to watch in support of my Man Chris ! Plus your so freaking entertaining
Just enjoy your videos, especially the "quick action" race across the garage. Thanks.

Hey Chris and Jen. I can see where it can be useful for light duty purposes. Good review.
For a quick car clean or other minor clean I would see it as useful. Wouldn't want to mess with a mid hose plug though.
Yeah definitely got to be cautious what you suck up with this thing! What a nightmare that would be

The vacuum gauge may be tell you if it's sucks less or if it's a feeling related to the surface area of the hose on the hand.
Quick action Chris is my favorite 😂

That MT license plate starts with a 3 which is Billings.
Brutally honest review, I love it. The Vac seems pretty useful though.
You are 100% squared away. Love both channels man. Keep em coming!
That and the pressure washer is very good to have.
Thanks for the review. Looks like a good unit if used for it's intended purposes. Thanks for sharing.
Looks cool for a regular guy like me that isn’t doing real heavy duty stuff - cleaning up the garage cars and trucks would be perfect.
the quick test sold me

Is that silicone grease on the hose guide? I wonder how long it will feed smoothly when it gets grinding dust in it!

Great review. And keep us up to date. Great video
I just ordered one of their pressure washers 5 minutes before this video showed up on my playlist
Great for car detailing business
My question is can you replace the hose with an extractor hose? Or is it extractor compatible?
Will regular 1.25” shop vac accessories fit their wand?
The unscrewing hose thing is a normal feature of all shop vacs.
Would be convenient if it'd turn on when you pull the hose when it's mounted that high
How is it with dog hair? I am a mobile detailer so pet hair needs a good suction.
I would say get something stronger
great review ....as always chris....
greetsz from friesland...max...
Great review chris! not a bad product.
Ouch $320 on pre-order rn yikes not for me but great video Chris idk how I even found ur videos but ur honestly the coolest down to earth dude

crooked sticker = dealbreaker
Review video, lets go!!
That vac looks like a decent bit of kit, but not for a workshop.
A convenient assistant, not a replacement shop vac. 7.5/10.

No big issue with hose getting plugged as long as you have a nozzle that has a smaller ID than the hose.
I would have to disagree with that. Long splinter type pieces can get sucked up and then get wedged in the corrugated hose. Which leads to other things getting caught on it and then a buildup. But yes in general a small head will help reduce risk of clogging but still possible
@@NNKH2 is it corrugated on the inside?
Longer splinters will clog up a hose of lager id also, atleast when spooled on a reel.
@@Thelemorf yes
@@NNKH2 oh, thats a bad hose design
The vacuum is not for me, but I do like your wall mounted electric power washer.
That's Awesome I dig it!

Discount code doesn’t seem to work
Update ?
How's it holding up. I keep seeing bad reviews
I sold it. Just wasn't powerful enough for my needs and the 2-in hose was not wide enough for my purpose as well
pretty cool.

Is that the mustang after getting a fixed frame?👀👀
Yeah but this video was recorded before I dropped it off to Peterson
What happened to the rav video?? I was in the middle of watching it and it disappeared
Sorry I had to delete and reupload due to an error in it
@@NNKH2 no worries dude just glad it’s back up was a bloody brilliant video!
Not enough power for such a long hose, gonna really suck when something gets jammed half way up the hose
Chris is an awesome dude!! ,🤟
Not to bad 👍👍

I want one
The vac link dont work
319 bucks thats crazy
It's worse than that... It's an unmitigated rip-off!
Man thats bada$$
G`morning Chris
Mornin!
Dang. The code doesn’t work anymore
vac up 5 gal water and empty it
Too puny for my garage, plus having to put the foam filteri in for liquid pickup is too time consuming
Yeah there's definitely won't be replacing my main Shop-Vac but it's a convenient unit for light duty stuff
The hose looks like a pool vacuum hose
nope. 🙂
Ok

Giraffe stuff have nice concept but weak. Only good because it retractable
show
Not sure its Easy to use when its going so many cons
I ended up selling it. Too small of a hose and not enough suction power
Stop moaning it’s free😂👍🇬🇧
I try to give an honest opinion
He's doing a review. Do you want him to lie to you? Like everyone else does?
I guess George likes liars... Go somewhere else, then.
