That ambulance is a thing of beauty, far prettier than either that El Dorado or your Gran Torino or bigger ambulance Ute, and far more practical than the first two. It's a keeper.
Chris you are the Man! You have knowledge which is key and you have balls. Most importantly you guts just to go out and Do It! Love the tours of the area and history lessons you take us on.
Dump trucks are always an excellent vehicle to Flip as so many people need, want them. I have flipped many dump trucks and always made good money. The drive train in ambulance could be a four bolt motor which is highly sought after.
That ambulance is pure gold. When I started my ems career back in 98 there were a few full mods and Chevy vans like that and they were hilariously fun to drive. Old school light bar and the OG federal Q 😂 people definitely heard us
That 89' Chevy engine was purring, so not surprized you did so well with it. The older model motor and body weight MPG expense of some of these older flips is probably the biggest barrier for a lot of people wanting em for a RV conversion. I wonder what would happen if a guy made a rubber/plasticized acid resistant bathtub big enough for a truck. With good air flow and proper respiratory safety, and washed the metal, thinner, in coats similar to stripping varnish off antique furniture. Taking a few days probably. So in mean time build a carbon fiber roll cage for interior of cab, like a baha vehicle. Remove all the steel reinforced seating/ reupholster around aluminum or carbon fiber structure. Then install rubber/recycled plastic?pieces for all fenders and detachable body to lighten further. Remove old glass and replace with lighter tinted or fabbed dark plexiglass and tinted safety glass windshield. Finally after the acid bath complete, a rubber reinforced, reflective but not shiny, lighter than steel dimpled golf ball wrap. This could both give better air flow (reduce drag) and depending on the thickness of rubberized wrap, improve heat resistance, making the cab and rv space more affordable to cool thru better resistance to incuring direct sunlight and ambient heat. So quicker and more efficient (affordable) to cool. End result, how much lighter? What is MPG improvement? Mythbusters did the dappled golf ball car, wonder if they would help out? Slap on some custom air dams and a trailer hitch and could be the ideal travel the nation auction hound, camping, barn finder/transport vehicle. With emergency lights, siren, and PA to tell all the people walking the beach, where the next Blues Brothers gig is at.
Hey Mr. Chris. Looks like you made some awesome buys at the old auction! Enjoyed it. You really do have a lot of knowledge on stuff. You make your channel real interesting! Always enjoy watching!!
That was fun. You could cause some real chaos in peak hour traffic using that Trafcon and ambulance😂. I enjoyed watching the whole process and who doesn’t enjoy a good flip with a reasonable profit. Jen looked awesome, she’s such a cutie. Cheers mate, Stuart 🇦🇺
Buy it and turn it into a bug-out vehicle. Pull off all the sirens and light bars and slap a flat black paint job on it, gut the box, put a bed homemade loft bed made with a dresser and keep the one side open for storageput a mini fridge, a microwave and a 9 function air fryer on the shelving and flip it.
Hey Chris.....I love that you love ambulances. I used to be a paramedic and also a combat medic in the Army. I think you should look to find a Humvee Ambulance to purchase. I always thought they would be great for camping, and they are 4-wheel drive!
I recently got a truck bed camper. It's perfect any dually and pretty much any truck camper. Can still easily pull trailers. You'd be presently surprised at the actual useable room in a truck bed camper
With old emergency vehicles, you don't go off mileage, you look at how many engine hours it has on it. They do spend a lot of time idling on scene. Every 1 hour of run time is the equivalent of 30 miles driving.
That Ambulance was really nice, great shape and i actually liked the size as it’s easy to park and can still fit into smallish places the big ambulance can’t.
Sell that sign trailer to someone who wants to make their sawmill portable…it has the basic bones for anyone with simple fabrication skills & looks heavy duty enough for that application.
what a great flip on that ambulance!! and that Lombardini diesel! literally just a couple hours ago I sold a Ruggerini rf-81 diesel motor (same company as the Lombardini) that I picked up at auction for 50 bucks for $450. auctions are the best lol. but I wish we still had in person auctions in western Washington, ever since covid they all went to online auctions. Love the videos man!!
Those Seafac column lifts are absolutely terrible. We fix double decker tour buses and bought a pair for a few of our branches in the US and almost all of them have failed, the jack screw mechanisms would get jammed and leave our bus stranded in the air and we have to lower it manually.
Old fire brush trucks are always a great find too.. the are usually old f350s or chevy 3500s. Low low miles if you find them away from the pines your even better. A lot of towns had them and used them for like small accidents, dumpster fires, small little leaf fires. So they are very low mile, garaged and highly maintained..
Always nice that you show us your neighbourhood/area. More flip it videos please (but do more prep on the stock, eg take the original auction numbers off the glass)
Love me some auctions, back in the 90's before the dealer flippers came in and drove prices stupid was fun and good way to build up your tool collections
A nice quick flip, you have to be happy with that Chris. I have heard people say in the past that people who buy from auction then sell for a lot more than they paid are rip-off artists. I say to them that the person buying from auction is taking a lot of risk, they have no opportunities to test & check, what they see is what they buy as is, where is, and once they won the bid, there is no changing their mind without a loss of dollars. Keep doing what you do Chris, your content is very much what a DYI’er can relate to and do.
Alright, that ambulance has a body by "K & S Concepts"...I believe they were in Horsham PA, but could be wrong. I was born in Montgomery County and my mom taught school over in Bucks....probably not terribly far from you. I think I remember Chalfont Fire using one of these for a period....K&S was unique- they used Chevy chassis when it seemed like everyone else was using Ford...that one may have a 350 in it...could even be a 454. On their older units, K & S used to mount Whelen Par 46 round sealed beam strobes up on the fenders sometimes, facing forward. Yours has speaker lights in the grill, instead. Good find, and nice video.
Hi Chris…. Those “Wing Windows” are called “Quarter Lites” in England. I have them on my MGB… great for good air circulation. Awesome Vid. Should turn that Ambulance into a Camper.
Great find! I thought for a second there you were going to keep it so Jen could share in the driving. After all, it really is a super clean rig. But.. congrats on the nice flip!
CHRIS AND JEN,, WHAT A DEAL ON THE PRICE ,,GREAT FUN.... THEY HAVE TO KEEP THESE MOBILES RIGHT UP,,, CARING FOR PEOPLE,, THIS IS A GREAT CAMPER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO MORE HOTELS MOTEL ,,.. GUS CAN WALK ALL AROUND INSIDE........MAN YOU SOLD IT WE WANTED YOU TO TRAVEL TO THE DESSERT OR THE MOUTAINS SAD!! WELL GOOD $$$$$$$ FOR YA!!! GREAT VIDEO!!!
Nice flip there Chris. I really enjoy going to to auctions and see what I can get to flip for some extra cash. I got a Sprinter I did a bidget RV build. I really love the diesel and great gas mileage. Can't wait to see what you get.
I hope we can appreciate that he can make a little profit and not pig pile on him. He took the gamble and established that he would be responsible for any problems with the the resale.
Someone brought themselves a new camper , with vanlife being such a big thing you couldn’t lose for that price. I used to go to the auctions here in the Uk and got many great cheap vehicles and tons of other interesting stuff . Was fun times , great video👍
That milage may be correct. Remember, its an emergency vehicle, so i drives only a few miles at a time. Meaning, butts ate sliding in and out 30 times a day but may only go 20 miles. Our security vehicles are wrecked after 30k miles, not by abuse, but just constant use. They sit at idle for hours, the doors open and close 200 times per day... the mileage on a service vehicle betrays its actual use .
There's a Kirkbride complex in Sydney, Australia - it quite appropriately became an art school, I did my degree there. They have the walls where they build a mound up about 5m and build the wall at the bottom so it doesn't look like you're confined. Also had a big focus on having expansive grounds for roaming therapy. The Sydney one only closed in the 2000s
Ok, the ambulance is awesome! But like you said how many ambulances does one man need. I would love to have one of those. Thanks so much for this video.
Good stuff brother. Keep up the great work. 👍🇺🇸 (man, taxes & “COL” are super HIGH up north!) Come join us down in KY & TN…. We need more good folks like y’all!
Love this channel. Why ? Cause he is kinda local to where im from. I actually know the areas he goes to somewhat. I find that relatable. Im already into cars so its interesting to see how he operates and where he goes and such
Your bike is very cool. I’d like to get a trike. I was a SWAT member and fell from a repel tower and messed up my back. I’m going to look into them. Those vehicles went for cheap. I wish I lived close. That would make an awesome camper
This ambulance looks similar to the one that briefly appears at the end of The Goonies. That one, just like this one was a G20 cutaway van with single rear wheels, but it was a GMC.
I don't say this lightly. Literally my favourite youtube channel.
agreed!
And this is only his secondary channel !!!11!111one
:o
Well I'm his biggest fan fo realz
Me too
That ambulance is a thing of beauty, far prettier than either that El Dorado or your Gran Torino or bigger ambulance Ute, and far more practical than the first two. It's a keeper.
I'm to the point where it doesn't matter what you're working on... im watching.
I appreciate you tuning in! Thanks
Working on… reviewing??? Anything I’m watching lol😅

Chris you are the Man! You have knowledge which is key and you have balls. Most importantly you guts just to go out and Do It!
Love the tours of the area and history lessons you take us on.
Absolutely died when you started using the loudspeaker hahahaha
Chris , you were geeking out with the Ambulance , PA & sirens .....i would do the same thing , lol!!
that siren and PA stuff had me cracking up
we're all big kids acting like adults... was in stitches at that!
Dump trucks are always an excellent vehicle to Flip as so many people need, want them. I have flipped many dump trucks and always made good money. The drive train in ambulance could be a four bolt motor which is highly sought after.
That ambulance would make a cool mini camper. Lot of storage area for tanks, grill etc put a small bed in and a heat system and go camping.
This is my 2nd favorite NNKH content channel, next to NNKH3 and NNKH4.
The utility trailer was a steal! Throw an inverter on there and have a nice modest gen/utility trailer!
Nice video man, I love when you show us your city and the historic places!
That ambulance is pure gold. When I started my ems career back in 98 there were a few full mods and Chevy vans like that and they were hilariously fun to drive. Old school light bar and the OG federal Q 😂 people definitely heard us

Should do more random rides with history. It was a cool ad on to the video. Nice seeing buildings and cars (what you preserve) still going.
Thank you thank you so much for showing the beautiful architecture of your country
Hey Mr. Chris. Looks like you made some awesome buys at the old auction! Enjoyed it. You really do have a lot of knowledge on stuff. You make your channel real interesting! Always enjoy watching!!
Very happy to see you flip for a profit. Thx for bringing us along. 😊😊😊 John Ken
Nothing wrong with doing a quick flip-it video. You'll find the right rig to turn into what you want. A little patience goes a long way.
That was fun Chris, thanks for bringing us along. I was surprised both items sold for so cheap.
I'd love to buy this Chris absolute classic, reminds me of all those amazing 80's t.v shows, thanks keep up the great work.
Favorite channel.
"How many ambulances does one man need ?"
Yes
Jon Levi has the best explanation of those beautiful old world buildings in New Jersey.

2 will it runs in one video. Awesome.
Ambulance. Nice. Condition. Good. Luck
The NJ Transit rig, the front bumper used to house train axles.
This is what I like _ Coming back from night out, to find an upload for NNKH or NNKH 2.. Keep em coming Chris
Hey Chris.....I love that you love ambulances. I used to be a paramedic and also a combat medic in the Army. I think you should look to find a Humvee Ambulance to purchase. I always thought they would be great for camping, and they are 4-wheel drive!
Im so glad it was in good shape and it fired right up. This is great!!! And sold it right away for nice profit!!
I recently got a truck bed camper. It's perfect any dually and pretty much any truck camper. Can still easily pull trailers. You'd be presently surprised at the actual useable room in a truck bed camper
Great flip and car, old chevy is never wrong😍👌🔥😎
I'm not just watching some random You Tube hack, you are like the friend I never had. Until next time amigo.
Cool ambulances Chris Nice show
Get an old caddy hearse.. early 70s.. 472,500s and they are fun and great storage space
Like parking garages...
I loved the video. Those type of auctions in Texas always bring more money than the item is worth
Nice! New NNKH video!
Any time spent turning profit is time well spent, congrats on the flip man
I definitely learn more about auctions thanks to you.

The company I work for bought a Chevy Crestline Ambulance to use as a spray truck for herbicide, fertilizer, etc. It loves the gas.
Really like auction content. Would love to see hour+ videoS of you just walking through equipment auctions looking at stuff
Love me some auctions, back in the 90's before the dealer flippers came in and drove prices stupid was fun and good way to build up your tool collections

Fun fact: The alternator on the Traf-con trailer is a GM 10SI.
Alright, that ambulance has a body by "K & S Concepts"...I believe they were in Horsham PA, but could be wrong. Heck of flip. Love the channel and thoroughly enjoy your adventures. Thanks so much and God bless!
Love your simple videos Chris, a man can learn a lot about everything
Loved seeing the auction, nice job flipping ambulance👍🇮🇪
Saw this when you showed it in another one of your videos. Awesome! Can’t wait until you get another trash boat and revive it!
Nice flip! Cool auction behind the scenes footage.
Thank you kind sir
I would have turned it into a camper van my self. Great 👍 buy, thanks for sharing 😊.

NNKH is the best, i love watching your channels. i understand its a lot of work. and i like the look into your world!
Best channel on TH-cam!
A very good deal on the van looks pretty solid!!✌️🇺🇲

LOL, seeing you playihn with the P/A and the emergency stuff had me cracking up. Good buy.
You did it again Chris! You're always using No Nonsense Know How to get the job done.
Dam! It doesn’t get any better than this! Great Travellog!!
Ok, the ambulance is awesome! But like you said how many ambulances does one man need. I would love to have one of those. Thanks so much for this video.
I love it have 2006 E350 Ford Ambulance my Mobile DJ VAN
The perfect Mobil mecanics vehicle.......Great. Good luck Chris.
We had a Kirkbride Style hospital in my town too. Pretty amazing place
You got two killer deals! Great video!
Good stuff brother. Keep up the great work. 👍🇺🇸
(man, taxes & “COL” are super HIGH up north!) Come join us down in KY & TN…. We need more good folks like y’all!
Possibly you could import an old landcruiser troopcarrier with a 1hz engine, they make for great camping rigs here in australia
Love this channel. Why ? Cause he is kinda local to where im from. I actually know the areas he goes to somewhat. I find that relatable. Im already into cars so its interesting to see how he operates and where he goes and such
I always look at the rubber on the brake pedal and if it’s not worn much usually it has low miles.
Epic content - properly tickled me with the use of the tannoy! Loved the bit of history as well. Thanks for taking us for the ride.
Glad you enjoyed it!
great video as always! I live in south Jersey and love the random facts as you pass around the NJ and PA areas
“How many ambulances does one man need.” More great content. Keep ‘em coming.
That ambulance was a steal.
You inspire me, I am such a novice as I am a cybersecurity guy. But I am learning a lot from watching all your videos :-) Thanks !
Nice return on investment ! That's why we do it ! No attachments , hehe .
Your bike is very cool. I’d like to get a trike. I was a SWAT member and fell from a repel tower and messed up my back. I’m going to look into them. Those vehicles went for cheap. I wish I lived close. That would make an awesome camper
I live in woodbine and have been an EMT for over 30 years. I would have definitely bought this ambo too.
This ambulance looks similar to the one that briefly appears at the end of The Goonies. That one, just like this one was a G20 cutaway van with single rear wheels, but it was a GMC.
Kinda an odd question for y'all but anyone know how to find auctions? I feel like I always hear about them after they happen.
Great video. I like when you buy different/odd stuff. Wished you kept the van, seemed really nice!
Fun thought- people get grossed out by hearses, but people don't die in them like in ambulances...
You have to keep it as it's too much fun!
Excellent video Chris :) good finds for Auction sale and did very good on buys also selling!
