The quickshifter is super sensitive also on my 2021 Husky, if you barely touch/move the lever it can cut the ignition (which is required for quickshifting) without changing the gear. The fix is really minding my foot placement then it never happens.
You know that you are not supposed to release the throttle when using a quick shifter. 😂 That’s the point with it, you just keep the throttle open and shift. What happened when it lost power is cuz u still had the shift lever up, it cuts the power. And for the quick shift down function no throttle and just step down the gears. 😉
I just got one of these recently and it's a joy to ride even in snow. My only gripe is that the traction control won't give me any throttle when the bike is getting stuck in snow so I have to get off and push it because I can't turn off traction control unless I'm moving at least 5 km/h with no throttle and the TC button pushed for 5 seconds. Looking forward to spring, which is when I can really let her loose.
I'm really starting to doubt KTM... This video doesn't help. A friend who bought a brand new 690 last year was riding at 50mph and had the rear brake completely lock up at random. He skidded to a stop and was fortunately not in a turn or otherwise and was able to ride it out. The issue: bad wiring on anti skid system.
Still not happy that the U.S. bikes didn't get the new dash 🤬🤬. My 22 has the old one with no gear indicator. I don't even really care about the rpm but the gear indicator would be nice
i broke my tailbone on my 690 smc. it only hurts because the tailbone is taking it all. if there was a space in the middle 1 or 2 inch and a little wider seat, it would be much more safer for the tailbone. when you try to stand up while riding and it takes allot of effort, it means the tailbone is flexing and It hurts preventing you to stand up quick. they really must invest in a ortophedic to redisign the seats :)
That’s exactly the purpose of the Power parts seat. They told me it is made to be ergonomic but not softer or anything so that’s why it helps a lot. But I think you could expect that to be stock on the bike..
15teeth pinion/sprocket is imho a must on this bike. You can go easy in 3rd gear 50kmh in the city without the bike acting like a crazy horse, forcing you to shift down to 2nd when you go down to 45-40kmh. Also no need for 210vmax on these kind of bikes. Quickshifter works well on higher revs (above the revs you can/should go before the first 1000km) up and down, on lower revs its not properly working and imho also not designed to be used in these revs. Source: a owner of a 2022 since 4 weeks and had the same issues before the first service ✌🏻🤗
