Even if you don't speak the language someone is performing in, you can still feel it. This is why I absolutely love all types of music. Linguistics taken out of the picture, musically, not everyone "speaks" the same language either. Some like hip hop, some like rock, and others like classical. I try to find something enjoyable about all music "languages". I'll listen to just about anything, but it really depends on my mood at the time.

Tool song tend to be in weird time signatures, especially for rock/metal/popular music. Usually it's 4/4 time, as in four beats per measure. This results in phrases that are usually 8 beats long.
Most of this song is in 5/4 (or some equivalent fraction). So it has five beat phrases, which is rather odd for radio-style music. A very well-known example of this is the Mission: Impossible theme song.
I've listened to a lot of Rock and metal. I've rarely if ever heard a scream like that anywhere else
