Yeah Ableton all the way for me, the effect chain/rack feature is something I can't live without.. Yeah lots of great electronic music artist in France!
I think the main takeaway is that high pitched sounds that sound like an ugly mess in the bass/midrange turn into misty texture when pitched way up. So, like, all the things that would turn your growl bass into farts, instead you get farting nanobots coming to turn you and your dog into gray goo. Which, of course, everybody wants.
