This is the best video on roar out there, very useful - and as everybody already Stated the Demo in the beginning is insane. Would love to see more content from you where you go deep dive on a specific topic/plugin.
@audioreakt the first two topics that come to mind are not device specific: Kick+bass/lowend and mixing - i think those are probably the things i, and also a lot of people struggle the most with.
@@NoPhonesOnTheFloor I know but I feel that this have been cover hundreds time and to be fair it's often rely on how good your sound selection is initially. but can you be more specific on where you struggle? is it about the groove, get your low end tight, having your kick and bass fit wells ? that could help me to make a video, thanks !
@@audioreakt you are right that this has been covered a lot of times, but i think you have the best way of explaining things. For me it's mainly getting the kick and Bass sitting well in the Mix, probably why i also included General mixing as a topic. For the mixing Part it's really Hard for me as a beginner to find content that's not "here is a simple mixing Trick" and also not too detailed/complicated. For example i have the mixing course from sinee, and while i like their content for me it's overwhelming when they have the topic of eq and start to eq a kick with 3 or 4 layers with multiple eq8 on each layer.
@@NoPhonesOnTheFloor thanks for your input, for me is all about sound selection, if the bass doent fit fit the kick maybe the bass is not good for that kick. glueing can help but again if you level properly you might not need to glue. I never eq(or rarely) eq the kick for mixing, for me once you have the perfect kick, don;t touch it, and find a bass that fit that kick, that how I see things, now everyone is different. it actually got me an idea, maybe I could ask my audience to send me they kick/bass they truggle to mix together. And then I will ''fix it'' and make a video about and explain how I did it and why, that could be interesting.
Very nice stuff, I had to laugh though when you said you use mid/side the less. That's the mode I love the most! When I want to widen a sound use shards on the side to add some crunch, also with automation it's very fun. But you compiled a super list of use cases here Merci!
The beginning is so sick - a lot of great ideas, thanks a lot 🙏🏻
Thanks to you 🙏
@@audioreakt How did you download it? My ableton cant use these files
@@AndreevKo which version of ableton live do you have ? you need live suite 12.1
@ oh yeah, i have an 11 version, now trying to find 12 crack on mac😃
@@audioreakt I need 12.1, yup. Didn't find the crack last night(

Yeah, good input I didn’t really try modulation on MS , but indeed sharps and noise injection are great to add stereo…
