San Diego leaders have mixed reactions to Supreme Court’s homelessness ruling

The Supreme Court has ruled that cities can punish homeless people for camping on public property - even if they have nowhere else to go. KPBS reporter Katie Anastas says while some are praising the ruling, others say it criminalizes homelessness.

I lived downtown SD for 21years, and I had to move. The Homeless issue for the last 10years just kept going up. I moved 3years ago, and I watch SD. and you are right, it has not gone down and my other friends in downtown said its still has not gone down.

I told the cop that came to our camp there are migrants crossing the border and stop them instead and they left after smelling the camp.

Grants pass Oregon is a Seventh day Adventist’s town , interesting how a religious group does not want homeless people in their town but I guess you could look at the Mormon city of Salt lake Utah because it has turned into a crap hole !

Preachers don’t get to be rock stars if churches have to actually earn their tax breaks, but that was too scary a century ago when things were ‘classier.’ 👍
