Jordan is really getting comfortable. His tricks and tips were great in this video compared to previous 3 level videos. Especially for a beginner to learn some new stuff
The beginner one seems the most modern looking. With just a bit more time spent on it, it would easily fit the aesthetics of some modern uber-expensive home
Never in my life have I enjoyed watching men play with their wood. Thank you gentleman for this entertaining video and for showing us what a real professional can do with their wood.
Jordan wins it for sheer simplicity clean lines and easy buildness. Sam wins it for great looks super sexy curves and clean execution. John wins it for sheer pomp and brass. Great vid, great variety, no winners or losers.
John, "Jordan, you're doing the beginner object! Get to it!" Also John, "Jordan, get Miss Piggy running and CNC the templates Sam and I need to look awesome!" Are we *sure* Jordan's the "beginner" here?
@@johnnysheffield8523 oh I know. And the expert skill level is definitely way more advanced. I just thought it funny, the one that’d take least time to make was the one I’d like to have the most.
I really like how Jordan uses more DIY/Hobbyist tools for his build, get a better idea of what you can accomplish with the different levels of tools you may have.
Love watching these guys build things and this is one of my favorite series of videos. It'd be interesting to see them do 3 levels of birdhouses and see how creative the guys could be based on each skill level....but without using the cnc.
I’m actually building the Rockler Adirondack chairs right now. I also had to laminate some 3/4 cedar together for the structural parts. Glad to know it wasn’t a dumb idea.
Daaamn. I have the ultimate flush trim bit, cleaned and sharp as hell, but it STILL burns maple. You chewed through those curves with NO burning issue. So good.
Love this video series boys. Very nice job and video. All 3 turned out very well. Hopefully you all get good use out of this summer. Can't wait to see ur next videos. Hopefully many more in this series. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work boys. Keep making. God bless.
First +1 on your multi-builds and you listened to me from the last one: proper screws in the pocket holes (pan heads) and you used the trick of a marking block to mark and cut the angle on the back feet of the beginning build - NICE!. Second: If you CNC the templates, you can just as well CNC the parts - with the exception stated for wasting less wood by using the band saw. Third: "Tiny little head." Too funny - that almost slipped by! Fourth: Real +1 for the sprayable UV resistant epoxy. That's a really good upgrade from most outdoor finishes. Would be good to see what these look like after a year of exposure. Nice job guys!
One thingnI have been noticing is that Jason loves to mention the tools you need to get his project done, but always misses the screws and pocket screw jiggs.
I think the one thing that stood out the most to me about all 3 chairs was the back, near where the head/shoulders would rest. For that I'd have loved to see those corners softened with 45's on each side, but that's just something i'll have to do when I decide to make one for myself!
We've got a pair of these, but with built in foot rests. Love them. I am amused, in Canada (or at least in Ontario) we call them Muskoka chairs, named after the large region of cottage country these are typically found up here.
In process of building the intermediate ones from the plans I got from you! Would be so much easier with a template and bandsaw but my jigsaw got the job done! Thank you so much for the video! Love em!
@@John_Malecki lol… that’s ok, most people haven’t heard of them unless they understand the pains of the old expansion drafts where you had to actually earn your way to the top… or just recruit an all star right out of college…:/
WELL AXCTHUALLY shou sugi ban also stops them soab bugs from messin with your outdoor furniture (along with moisture, rot, and UV resistance). Siiiiick builds lately - ya'll keep making a video about the work I need to do right before I do it - that's like 4 series in a row... other than the kayak but my pool is pretty big...
Sam - our dog likes to go places and do things, and is also used to sitting in the yard watching me do work. Give us a shout, we’ll be happy to supervise your next video.
Now we know the importance of pre-drilling screws and using trim screws and not drywall screws on the right side of the chair. :P Keep learning guys!! Great video!
No doubts, the intermediate had the best workmanship. If you wanna do a pro version you first make a mock up (and not wing it like this), then find all details and adjustments, then cut and assemble without fake joints, ie traditional mortise, tenons and wood pegs.
Love the videos you make. I would like to know how challenging it would be for you to make a glider rocking chair? Maybe do a video on you making one I feel like it would be a challenge.
Sam's is the closest to the traditional form. Reminds me of summer at camp. I'd like to see the arms of the rocker a little higher relative to the seat.
Great video. I want to challenge your creative juices to make a chair like this but that is portable for the campers in our lives... I have no clue how it could be done...so I give you this.... Hugs from Esquimalt
Love your channel, but most intermediate woodworkers do not have a CNC to cut out patterns. Just saying Regardless, my favorite was Sam's....The Intermediate Build
Jordan is really getting comfortable. His tricks and tips were great in this video compared to previous 3 level videos. Especially for a beginner to learn some new stuff
Appreciate it!
I can be completely honest and say I've been binge watching these guys. I really like this beginner, intermediate and pro level builds
I like the middle one. I am surprised you did not follow a more traditional form, but then again, it is you. They all work.
The beginner one seems the most modern looking. With just a bit more time spent on it, it would easily fit the aesthetics of some modern uber-expensive home

All levels look great, more Bear in future videos, he was the real star today.
am I the only one who liked Jordan's the best? just the minimalist design looks so good.
Jordan's section is getting super good.
John, "Jordan, you're doing the beginner object! Get to it!"
Also John, "Jordan, get Miss Piggy running and CNC the templates Sam and I need to look awesome!"
Are we *sure* Jordan's the "beginner" here?
Glad someone sees what really goes on
Jordan is the beginner because Sam and John COULD do it by hand, but they hired the kid to do tech stuff. He gets payed to do the computer work
Jordan, Kid, Beginner...i only see the CNC Cowboy
@@branonedwards7128 it's more than just pressing a button
So you want to swap jordan with sam or john?
Love that you guys are offering up the CNC plans and templates. Very cool. Great summer time build.
All look awesome. But the beginner still looks the best. 🤟
Thank you for the ‘kids can try this’ baby steps and the elevated diy versions!
if jordan wasnt in these videos i wouldnt watch them lol
🥲 that hit me right in the feels. Made my day
Amazing chairs! Also we need more bear!!!!!!
Intermediate was the real winner here. But wow, that Pro chair is huge!!! lol
And heavy...
Am I the only one who likes the beginner best and the expert least?
I think it’s based on the skill not the looks

IMO the rocking chair is a game changer. Lots of other plans out there just sit flat, comfort level and selling value go way up! 🔥 🔥 🔥
♥️♥️♥️ Bear !

Sam’s Chair Wins ,sry John ,,,lol
Jordan wins that one.

Jordan doesn't get to do templates on his build but hes the one who makes the templates for the other two
Are you Jordan’s boyfriend? Is this a gay rights thing? Are you a gay rights activist?
@@timthompson7205 you jealous?
@@jordanheider2662 how did you know?
Could you do a 3 Levels of… outdoor dining tables? Great job on these chairs, I love this 3 Levels series.
Oh the irony of the "expert" using the "beginners" CNC skills to make the rocking chair look good 😅
3 levels of Awesome Sauce! Thanks Guys, these 3 level videos are my favourite of your series 👌
Thought Jordan was going to say all you need is this dog😁

Intermediate was the best design by far. Cool video boys!!
It’s the coolest time of the week, whenn Malecki team is on air with new stuff!:)

Really like the intermediate one. Jordan did a great job in explaining what he was doing - I see progress!
Awesome chairs, really like the rocker John, but I’d have to go with Sams personally!! But thanks for the great video!!
Nice chairs! Great video!
The intermediate one was my favorite

My high-school grade 11 project was the exact same as the intermediate but with a semi circle cut on the top-backing for more of a head rest look
I find it hilarious how the different sizes of the chairs make them look like they belong to the three little bears. Great results as always.
These vids sure do bring me down a notch... not sure I could even build the intermediate...

It just seems like the intermediate is always my favorite
Niiiiiiice 👍👍👍👍👍
i appreciate the craft & detail behind the advanced versions, but prefer the simple design of the beginner.
Go Preds!

Jordan at the end had some real Mike Wazowski vibes, getting covered by the Other Video tiles
Literally every time
Beginner chair looks the best anyway
If your bandsaw is not that good, you should look into the Harvey. It's top notch! i have one and i love it
Dammit Jordan, good job..!
Get with the program...Bear needs a couple treats!
John broke wind at 11:29 LOL
🤣🤣🤣
In the beginner chair, I’ve got the pockethole jig he has. It’s $15 at Rockler (or wherever) and totally worth it
Can't wait for the next one
Badass! But all yeans forgots the CUPHOLDERS!!!!!
Pinkies up, let’s go. Need to be on a shirt.
Why the Hell did I jump when John yelled "HEY" in the beginning lmao

Like them all. But all are a fail. No one put a place to hold your glass for beer or whiskey. Damn it Jordan, John and Sam.
Good looking chairs, but you are correct! We need cupholders!!!

I thought the point of burning the wood was the finish. Is adding another finish advantageous?
