I commented this up top, but yeah to put this into perspective, it's the equivalent of finding out your abuser was released from prison and that abuser doesn't feel guilty about what they did and wants to do it again. There's anger, but there's also fear. Fear that no matter how strong you are now, they could still overpower you.
This version of Jason also seems to have a more severe PTSD that what I usually see him have (I admit I don't read a lot of comics, but as far as I remeber he does not suffer like he did in a prvious number of this ones)
Dick has always been a leader. He has lead several hero teams over his 18 years as a hero and everyone in the community respects and trusts him. He is even the current leader of the Justice League :) He is also the best big brother ever!
Small detail but I love Bluebird/Harper Row volunteering to sit out of patrolling to manage their gear. It shows maturity and gives us insight into her character

I absolutely adore this story telling by the author. After making the batfamily so very human with comedy seasons and throwing us into this warzone it really brings out the emotions. Also a strong bind being shown in this family will never grt old! You do a very good job with transitions by the way. Really helps with the flow and tone. Voice actors are also really bringing their A game! ❤

I love the tone when Alfred calls the kids Bruce's *children* even though most of them have parents or other family still sort of in the picture they are still all his children. He loves them so much it makes my heart swell. I never liked DC very much until I found this comic and now I'm an avid Bat family Fan. Every dimension, every time frame, I love it all. But this comic will always be my first and favorite!
Mess with one member of the Bat Family, you mess with all of them. Especially when one of those members has a certain history with the maniacal clown that murdered him and has no problems putting a bullet in bad guys' skulls if needed
Poor Jason it just goes to show the guy doesn’t care if he gets hurt as long as the people he secretly cares about are okay and the innocent people are safe
This is the reason Bruce wanted to bench everyone, since each person has history with the joker some darker then others they’d make brash decisions doing things like going out on your own
I get why Jason’s doing this but I wish people would write him with more common sense because he’s actually a very intelligent and strategic person even though the character’s emotions are all over the place here

For the next probably clarck and diana are going to visit bruce and found other about everything that going on and as they know how dangerous joker is they call to all the JL members to look after him
So while I agree that Batman shouldn't have benched the kids, they really didn't come up with anything new. Bruce was already going to check Arkham and the place Duke was held. Yes they would get work done faster if they were working together but that won't convince a stressed out freaked out Batman that he needs them.

He was the original problem child of the Batfamily while Jason was dead and his backstory is similar to Cassandra's and Daimen's. Also he was briefly Batman but went overboard yet was still welcomed in the Batfamily after. But still he seems interesting and I'm surprised he hasn't appeared in this webtoon or anything else in recent years. Sadly that is tragically common with the Batfamliy, unless your Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon or Damien Wayne your never used in other medias especially TV or Movies. I always hoped that Azreal would appear in the Young Justice show and be sidekick to Nightwing, and it would be left to the writers if he'd go bad or not.
You know ? Comparing both multiverses, DC kids usually seem to be togher than Marvel kids. More in tune with anti-heroes, more resilient against their own impulses... Are Marvel parents doing something wrong ? Or are DC parents making their kids grow up too fast ? What do you people think ?
Marvel parents r more focused on keeping their kids out of their dangerous life and want them to live a more normal life whilst DC is more teaching them their life, i love both but DC cartoons and shows win but marvel movies r better

Plus, in most "What if" involving the kids, such as Power Pack, they end up becoming the greatest of monsters, or simply lose it all. It's similar to what the Joker warned Batman against in "The Dark Knight". They can not treat them like other children, 'cause they're not. This is true even for real life. There simply are unique environments unique children will feel more confortable and in control, than if they're forced into typical ones. I speak from self experience.
To be fair from an early point dc had groups like Teen Titans for the kids, where they can learn and grow on top of their superhero families, which tend to be big so they get alot of support there aswell. Meanwhile in Marvel it was much later stuff like Young Avengers and Champions came along
