Ever since I was little I wished we had a grand old Grandfather clock, the gorgeous old artwork preserved and the type of piece passed down from one generation to the next. Best I've done is a cuckoo clock. This is so beautiful. What an amazing job you've done
Such a beautiful video. Thank you. I'm a bit too old to invest in a Cricut but your methods can still be used doing everything the old fashioned way, just takes a bit longer. Lovely work.😊
Greetings! Love this video. I am getting ready to make one of these this weekend and I am looking at ideas. Thank you for sharing. Incidentally ... I have a cricut maker as well. If you get the knife blade attachment, you can cut through up to 1/16" thick balsa and basswood sheets. I have use it many times in my projects. The knife blade attachment will also cut through the Craftboard / matboard with ease, as well. Just thought I would mention that! Love the Packing crate at the end! Nice touch! Keep up the great work! Have a better day ... As I always say!
Wow !!! this is absolutely amazing!! Any chance this SVG would be available?? I made a miniature clock shop inside a pendulum clock this would be wonderful addition to my little shop. I love all your details. yes I have a Cricut Maker I have made a few mini furniture pieces on it from Spellbound miniatures with card stock and chipboard. I know all the other details like the clock face would be a challenge but I have old watches.to play with. 😊
Sadly I can't find my original vector file but hopefully this is something you can work with which should be to scale: www.immersivemadness.co.uk/downloads/grandfather-clock-template.png
@@thesentimentalsoul3683 sadly, not very much recently due to life just being too busy. But I was part way through building a 7ft 12th scale castle. If you look at my channel there should be some videos where I made a library and all the books with pages, and some other bits and bobs
I think any smudging or frosting from superglue should be able to be cleaned up with isopropyl alcohol... not tried it myself because it's usually out of sight on my work. I read that it is caused by degassing as the glue dries, which would explain why it gets worse when there's no air flow to the glued area. Also I would probably have used something to dull down the gloss a bit

No, but I'm happy to prove a link to the cricut file. If you don't use a cricut and cut by hand I can probable find time to create a pdf for you. All free of charge. Let me know

This is brilliant!!! I’m curious do you have this svg you created available for sharing???
I can do. It's a cricut file in the cloud at the moment but I should be able to find my original file and export it as svg, leave it with me

@@immersivemadness8135 Thank you very much. I'm eager to give it a try. Do you have many other projects?

@Immersive Madness I did see your books. Fabulous Job !!! Mostly the 3D videos. My son built and used one in his computer class. Very interesting.

You made a lovely clock. Would it be possible to obtain the pattern for a regular printer? (I don’t use Cricuts).
I think so. Give me a couple of days to see if I can make it a pdf and I'll put the link here

I think it’s kinda difficult to make a miniature mechanical mechanism style so they got is quartz then though.
A Cricut Maker will cut out the heavier pieces and thin wood. Just FYI. I love my maker for that very reason.
Good to know!
I need to fish out my Craft Robo again now........
Do you sell your cutting files ?

@@immersivemadness8135 you are such a generous person 🧡 I am pretty handy with a blade so I'm sure I could manage to cut that out. Many thanks again
Hi, If possible could I please get a copy of the files you have created?
cricut files or just a png?
Either files would be appreciated. Thank you.
