Try doing all the steps again and ensure nothing is on the micro SD card but the .bin file. Once you see blue and yellow lights turn off... give it a few minutes or so. If it still not connecting... do a factory reset by by pressing the "Setup" button until you hear the voice prompt for setup. Then just set it up again.
Hi, does the light stay "blue+yellow" for 5 minutes until cam reboots ? On my pan v1 the "blue+yellow" light changes to solid yellow in 40 seconds and cam doesn't even reboot just click sounds, stuck in solid yellow forever. Thanks.
@amar.androidacc Once you have the blue and yellow light , just let it do its thing for about 3 minutes, and then it will reboot on its own. After the reboot, it should return back to the normal state.
I almost got it to work, but camera can't connect to the wi-fi , took a break but when i tried it again it was back to the way it was ... just the solid yellow?

I have the latest firmware already do I still need to do this? I'm getting error 90 and solid yellow light I've tried to unplug and repower on and it's not working 😢
I used this today on a Wyze Cam Pan that was bricked out of the box. After I called for a warranty replacement they said they didn't want the camera back so I was like "Well, if I can't get it to work its already broke." The replacement comes in a couple days and the first camera is now working
The app prompted me to do a firmware update and 2 out of my 3 cameras are now bricked. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but this trick isn’t working for me. The blue light comes on, followed by the yellow light and nothing happens from there.
Are you adding the file to the Micro SD card while it is empty. If not, backup the Micro SD card, make there is nothing on the card, go through the steps, and then see if that works. If so, you can then add the files back on the card afterward.
Im at my witts end 😅 I have tried 4 different firmwares on my wyze cam v2 and I do the process step by step and it goes to the light blue light for like a minute and then straigh back to solid yellow/orange. I don't know what else to do 😓

I tried it a few times, and it did not work. The light went from solid yellow, to now blinking yellow. I also have the Pan version and wasn't sure if it was the v2 or not so I tried to download both on the mini SD card and try each one separately, but still no luck. Any ideas?
@@NerdGadget Yes, I made sure to clear the card so it was empty. And I deleted all text so it was just demo.bin. I am wondering if I need to try to reconnect it to my Wifi? When i hold down the button, I am not getting any blue light.
Didn't work for me. I formated the sd card, downloaded pan cam firmware, rename it (demo.bin), put it in camera, power, held setup, it turns to blue/yellow light and then just stays there even after leaving it for hours. Multiple tries, different sd cards, still the same. Any ideas?
If you have an Android mobile device that allows you to use a Micro SD card and an app like Solid File Explorer, which allows you to rename the file extention..extension... you could try that.
You can open the zipped folder and then drag the file out of it. Once you move it out, You can right click file, click Properties, and the you will see were to rename it... just as I did in the video.
well, I tried, bought this on clearance, didn't notice that the package was open. it is bricked. tried several times, tried every single firmware including the one you showed, tried formatting the card, nothing worked. I was hoping but I guess there is more wrong with mine.
Make sure to choose the firmware that pertains to your cam or you could create another issue. Are you able to get to the point where the light is showing blue and amber?
No I wasn't, I have the same camera as you showed. I called support, I'm going to try to get a replacement, I replaced the power supply and cord with a working camera, and still didn't work

Hmmmm... that's odd, but gladbyou were able to get it resolved though. May be an issue with the 64 GB card.
How do you "unzip" the file? I must be special. Also, I can't change the name 🤷🏼♀️... help 😫
You can open the zipped folder and then drag the file out of it. Once you move it out, You can right click file, click Properties, and the you will see were to rename it... just as I did in the video.
This vídeo safe me so much...

well, I tried, bought this on clearance, didn't notice that the package was open. it is bricked. tried several times, tried every single firmware including the one you showed, tried formatting the card, nothing worked. I was hoping but I guess there is more wrong with mine.
Make sure to choose the firmware that pertains to your cam or you could create another issue. Are you able to get to the point where the light is showing blue and amber?
No I wasn't, I have the same camera as you showed. I called support, I'm going to try to get a replacement, I replaced the power supply and cord with a working camera, and still didn't work
@@nathanpotter8569 Does it power on at all?
Yes i get a solid yellow, about 5 to 6 seconds doing your method I hear a click... but that's it. Customer support is sending me a new unit.
@@nathanpotter8569 Ok 👍🏾. You should have seen a blue and yellow light. Who knows... you may end up with 2 working ones. That's what happened to me. Are you pressing the reset button down before plugging it in and keeping it held down until the light comes on? Again it should be blue and yellow.
ok i've done this 5 times and still no luck connecting my Pan Cam
Make sure that your micro SD card is empty before adding the .bin file.
@@NerdGadget I redid the sd card again and it worked, thank you
