Mr. Mwambazi another stellar video. I think you need to start doing masterclasses on PV installations because I have seen some horrible installations with zero protection. Your videos surely helped me a lot in making sure that my system is safe by adding extra protection on the already decent system like that Neutral bridge relay. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Anthony, I have two luxpower inverters fitted by a scam electrician I need you to review my system and ensure that I have E/N bonding contactor fitted as well as earth bonding to panels and main DB. Excellent video Anthony, now if only all the end-users can see the difference between a class installation and that of "a fly by night". Because I deal with a lot of installation personnel most of them are not familiar with SANS regs and neutral ground bonding. Can you please share your experiences and work arounds for those with small gensets which have floating neutral. Most installations done "legally"are indeed not so legal in South Africa because these gensets are designed to be used out in the field. Again, brilliant service to the public. I will touch base with you when industry starts running again.

@@anthonymwambazi7390 Hey, the inverter once it stops getting feed from the solar, it doesn't use the power from the battery until a percentage I've set it but use power from the grid
The coil is energized from main supply to open the normally closed contact on the contactor however for South Africa supply system it is a requirement to bond the neutral of the output inverter to earth permanently on inverters other than your victron systems

You want to buy a infrared camera to detect hot spots. This is a very effective tool to see a loose connection before it gives a problem 😉
