Nice! Now we're talking, love that 171hp up top!! I've been saving for my dream build for a year. Hopefully you'll be getting my call this summer. The longer i wait the better your builds get.
We are excited as well. Lots of cool builds about to roll out. I think we have a 147 Softtail build and several 139’s and 143’s. Not sure will have videos on all but we will have some.
Everything but the handle bars is money! Idk why i hate those bars so much but i do lol Id look into getting a baker grudge box transmission if youre going to be delivering a lot of power to the drive system.
Nice build! Really amazing how much hp & TQ you’re getting from these M8 motors. Q: with these big inch builds are there more issues with heat soak in stop and go traffic? Also, are you doing and builds on the “sprinkler head” models? Ty 🙏🏼🇺🇸
I’m gonna buy that compensator.. I’m curious if y’all prefer the S&S cam plate over the feuling.. I can’t help but notice there’s no bushing on the feuling and HD allows 0.012” pinion runout
The new H-D has the best flow but limits you to cams with 0.570 exhaust lifts. We typically use the S&S setup unless it’s a race built than we modify the SE cam plate to except a larger cam.

If you are not beating on your bike, should you be worried if you are using a Man O War comp. I get the idea of smooth power, but is that for every gear shift or from 1st gear to speed?
It help on downshifting and getting on in off the throttle. The compensation that H-D designed helps elevate stress on all the components behind the compensator.
Sweet ride fellas. I have a 2021 CVO Ultra Limited Bronze Armor, stock. Have the Legends Evo’s rear & iso Legends front. 16” LA bars & some thunderheader slipons. Not looking to totally rip apart my brand new motor. Not sure 🤔 a 135 is needed? lol But curious what you fellas would recommend for a weekend warrior and his wife. I ride only 2 up & roughly 200 miles a ride. Just race the buddies every once in a blue moon. Would like something near a 120/120 build. What would you fellas recommend??
MHP stage II setup with our MHP-485 cam. 125-135 foot pound of torque and 116-127 horsepower. Please email us your info to horsepower@moonshineharley.com and will contact you to discuss all the options. Please include a good contact phone number.
Yes. We do lots of builds with chains. If this beast is operated correctly the belt can handle a lot. It also depends on how you have your primary setup. On this build we used the MHP Comp Ramp "Comp Of Power" with a Rekluse clutch basket, Rekluse Torque Drive Clutch and stock H-D primary chain tensioner. This Combination can handle 200 plus HP and has some give designed into it to lesson the shock on the Transmission on final drive belt. This is our go to on any build we do with ported heads.

Only in the Harley world would you take a brand new motorcycle apart and do a ton of work to it just to make it as fast as it should have been from the factory. It would now almost beat A BMW GTL in a straight line. Now if we want to talk about actually going around the corner that's completely different whereas the BMW will still eat the HD alive
