Beautiful country and I enjoy seeing the horses and buggies. I can't believe the buffet was 9.95 with coffee. You can hardly have a fast food breakfast for that. Another great review.
As a cook, people don’t realize how cheap stuff is when you make it from scratch. I use to work at a hotel, everything was from scratch ,but it was cheap.
I love Dienner's. Years ago, I had a friend that lived in the Lancaster area. She wanted to take us to a place where the locals eat. We had been to the larger buffets. We ate there for dinner and what a treat that was. The food was so good. I enjoyed seeing what all was on their breakfast buffet. I love scrapple so whenever I am up in that area I am always looking for scrapple. Their sausage gravy was full of sausage which was nice to see. The buffet might have been small but they had such a nice variety of food. John's cinnamon roll looked so light and fluffy!
You guys hits the best place. This is real authentic PA Dutch Amish cooking. This is my favorite place to eat. The lunch and dinner buffet food is incredible. One of these time we need to meet up.

They have a good looking breakfast spread. The price can't be beat for this buffet. Everything looked fresh and delicious. Definitely a great spot for breakfast in Amish country. Thanks for sharing.
We visited an Amish Restaurant in PA in the 90's. Don't recall the name but It was like a barn, beautiful property and DELICIOUS food. Would love to go back but with the price of gas here in Canada and no passport, highly unlikely!🙄 I'm sure you enjoyed...everything looked divine!

Watch your videos all the time. Love when you visit Lancaster County because I live about 50 miles from there and I’m always looking for new places to visit. Watched your D J ‘ s Taste of the Fifties yesterday after you posted it. Today I went there for the first time. John you’re right. The Caribbean burger was great. Not too spicy. Was next door to Dienner’s today at the Dutch Haven when I saw you posted their restaurant but I had my heart set on D J’ s. Keep the reviews coming. Thanks.
Brought back a wonderful memory. My wife and I went there on a few of our Thanksgiving weekend visits to Herhey. The Dutch Haven next door was awesome as well. Thanks again, the restaurant is still as remembered...excellent.
Just watched this one and seen where you had been there for lunch, so we watched that one too. Oh NO; we think we just gained 20 lbs. each watching these two reviews. What would we gain if we ever actually did eat there? haha The food for both breakfast and lunch/dinner remind us of foods we both grew up with. Should we ever find ourselves near Lancaster, we now have many options based off your reviews to eat at. Thanks for all of the very informative reviews of places you go to.
You are so welcome. We want to go to one of the seafood buffets in this area on a Friday night but we are not normally there then. Lancaster is very expensive on the weekends to stay so if you go try for a weekday. 😎😎

What a great bar especially for that price. Bobby since you can't find mush where you are you should look for it at those Amish markets when you're up checking that area out. They seem to serve it in several of their restaurants bet you could find some to take home. Thanks so much for taking us along guys. God bless!

That was quite a delicious looking buffet with a lot of Amish Character in the restaurant. Would sure like to visit if we get up that way 😊 I have a lot of Family in that area. Thank you for the video ☺️💯

Everything looked so good! I would’ve gone for the grits with sausage gravy, mush, and scrapple ❣️. Bobbi, since you like mush, have you ever had livermush? It’s exactly what the name implies, and it’s big in NC! I absolutely love the stuff, and our Piggly Wiggly carries it for me! Try it if you ever get a chance! Great video…thanks!😉
Yes Kathy, I believe you would! It’s a loaf-type mush with ground liver mixed in. I love it with eggs ❣️. I think you might could find a recipe on the internet.
I'm from up North- raised on Scrapple, Stuffed Ham- now in Coastal NorthCarolina, never can find Scrapple here. I've seen " liver pudding and liver mush" here and another type of "block loaf pork - had like a gelatinous look to it and a vinegar smell..WAS DEFINITELY NOT SCRAPPLE. What can I find in NC area that is comparable to Scrapple.. ????
Love Dienner's, My wife and I were there for dinner that day. Always excellent!. Next time go see "David" at Sight and Sound theaters on Rt. 896 in Ronks. You will be blessed.
We want to see Dave. When we were in the they didn't have any tickets. We have seen all the other shows at Sight and Sound . They do a wonderful job. 😎😎
Wish I lived in Michigan and could visit these places. I just love you both. You make me feel so at home. We now live in Texas, but nothing like good home cooking by the Amish with you guys at our table !!!
It's been some time since I've been in Ronks. Grew up there. I worked at Dutch Haven as a teenage busboy. This restaurant wasn't there then. Still nice to see old, familiar places. Thanks
Love your videos. How do you do it...I'm amazed one day your in Amish Country and the next video back in Gatlinburg. How often do you trave to PA and OH Amish country?
It looks like we are there. We film around 17 to 20 videos in 4 or 5 days and that last us for a couple months. We are home for weeks when these videos come out. Lancaster and Ohio Amish Country are not far from where we live. 😎😎
very nice. liked hearing fresh. having good coffee and nice selection of breakfast treats seems to be a fine way to start my day. just wondering, were you hearing the highway traffic inside?
Thanks for the video. I have passed by this place very often but never knew they had a breakfast buffet. I will DEFINITELY have to give them a try !!! Looks delicious !!! I wish Golden Corral had these food choices for breakfast, but their selection is rather lame. I only get to the Lancaster area about once a month on business but will leave my house earlier to catch this buffet !!!
I just caught this video, now that's my kind of breakfast buffet...simple, flavorful and delicious....it doesn't get better than this.....and when I stop and think how people used to rave about the Las Vegas casino buffets...what you folks just presented can't compare, Vegas buffets were always so over - rated .....thank you for sharing your awesome breakfasts with us.....lol, I live too far to visit that delightful diner, incidentally I live in, of all places, in Vegas...and the buffets still are nothing to rave about....warm wishes to both of you..
Dienners also has a couple of eating places including a breakfast counter at the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. There is an entire Lancaster County Amish section there.
Fried mush wot on earth sir would you like some fried mush lol was like when I was in Egypt and the was red sauce and green sauce that's it and you no wot one was red other green tell me more Haha mush
Yummmm! My husband and I were just there in May for dinner- so yummy! Have you all tried the Strasberg scooter tours? We did a tour this time around and it was the highlight of our trip! Bobby - you always look so cute! Beautiful hair,, makeup, and nails!
One of our family's favorite restaurants. We loved it for both the breakfast and evening meal buffets. They don't make anything there that isn't good! I miss it!
Dienner’s is my go to buffet in Lancaster. Very reasonably priced, food is always hot and fresh! My fav’s are the scrapple, smoked sausage and the corn mush is also good with maple syrup. Love this place because it’s still a genuine local establishment operated by wonderful Mennonite families.
It's all very good but what makes it better is the price. I bet though you guys have some great food there also. Especially the Scotch Eggs. Appreciate you watching so far away. 😎😎
What a fantastic buffet! And that price! 😱You know you're in the north when there's chipped beef n gravy along with scrapple on the all you can eat buffet! Lol. (I agree...definitely should be over today tho 😉 lol)Yummy. I grew up in Michigan but been here is east Tennessee for over 30 years now. Amish country is beautiful though! I've never had mush. Do you eat it with syrup or just butter? Is definitely try that.
We have been to this area on numerous occasions and Dienner's has been our breakfast place every day we were in Lancaster, PA. It's definately a place "where the locals eat" including the Amish people we've also seen there.
We almost went there. It seemed very expensive so is it worth that much. Saw a omelet that cost 12 dollars and adding home fries made it 15. Maybe we will go since people are asking us to do it. Should we go for lunch or breakfast?
@@jbinthehills We thought the same. But, the portions are big and we felt it was worth it in the end. We were there for lunch. The burger with carmelized bacon and tomato jam was really...really good. I heard breakfast was good too.
I've worked in the food industry for a long time here is a little hint for buffet's most of the cheap food like salad is the 1st items you come to the more expensive items are usually the last things you come to
We did do it last week and filmed it. Will bring it out probably this weekend if I can get it edited. It was very good with different items on the buffett. 😎😎

Looks good the baked oatmeal looks interesting I've never had scrapple but it looks interesting also the whole breakfast looks great ❤
Scrapple is all the leftovers of a pig. We don't like it.😎😎
Took 2 dear friends here once. OMG the food!!!! Yummmm
We thought everything was very good. Thanks for watching. 😎😎
You guys go to the cool place to stay and eat .keep being safe
Thank you😎😎
That was quite a delicious looking buffet with a lot of Amish Character in the restaurant. Would sure like to visit if we get up that way 😊 I have a lot of Family in that area. Thank you for the video ☺️💯
You are welcome. They have a nice buffet. We appreciate you watching. 😎😎

Thank you so much. 😎😎
I go out to Harrisburg PA to see my daughter, next time I go I'm going to tell her we need to take a lil ride there for sure.
Let us know what you think about it. Thanks for watching 😎😎
Looks sooo good. Gosh I am hungry!
The food was very good 😎😎
The best buffet we have ever been to! Wish we could go back today!
It's definitely worth the price. 😎😎
HI GUYS, ANOTHER GOOD AMISH VIDEO - I TOOK A BITE OF EACH OF YOUR BUNS WITH YOU, JUST KNEW JOHN WAS GOING TO HAVE THAT CINNAMON BUN!!!!! 😁😁THE BREAKFAST BUFFET LOOKED GREAT ALL IN ALL!!!!! ENJOYED THIS ONE AS ALWAYS , THANK YOU SO MUCH, MUCH APPRECIATED. STAY SAFE AND GOD BLESS.❤❤VAL
It was a nice breakfast buffet. You know John loves cinnamon rolls. Take care Val😎😎
They have a nice breakfast. No I have never heard if livermush. 😎😎
I like mush, liver and liver sausage. Would I like livermush?
@@kathyteso9331 I never heard of liver mush.😎😎
Love Dienner's, My wife and I were there for dinner that day. Always excellent!. Next time go see "David" at Sight and Sound theaters on Rt. 896 in Ronks. You will be blessed.
We want to see Dave. When we were in the they didn't have any tickets. We have seen all the other shows at Sight and Sound . They do a wonderful job. 😎😎
Way behind on videos. Thanks for showing us Dienner's. The food looked really good! I think it is probably better in Amish Country.
The breakfast was very good and a great price 😎😎
Absolute favorite! Love the beef and Blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream...omgoodness yes!
They have so many good desserts to choose from. Thanks for watching 😎😎
Wish I lived in Michigan and could visit these places. I just love you both. You make me feel so at home. We now live in Texas, but nothing like good home cooking by the Amish with you guys at our table !!!
Thank you for your kind words 😎😎
We visit Lancaster every year because we love Dienners. We usually eat there every day while visiting Lancaster and we take food home. 😋 ❤️ 😍 💖
You can't go wrong with going here. 😎😎
It's been some time since I've been in Ronks. Grew up there. I worked at Dutch Haven as a teenage busboy.
This restaurant wasn't there then.
Still nice to see old, familiar places.
Thanks
Thanks for watching and commenting 😎😎
Love love love Amish country!!! Been there several times...
We love visiting Amish Country, too. It is so beautiful and peaceful. 😎😎
The breakfast was very good and so was the coffee 😎😎
I love your reviews ❤
Couldn't agree more . . Dienner's is the Best buffet !
Thank you. We appreciate you watching. 😎😎
Great price and good food. Thanks for watching 😎😎
Beautiful restaurant and people. Would love to try their scrapple. Eastern delicacy.
We have never tried the scrapple. Thanks for watching 😎😎
This was a very nice breakfast. Thanks for watching and commenting 😎😎
Eaten here many times. Can’t beat it!!
Hard to beat the price. 😎😎
Love that they have gloves! So many options I'm full just looking!
I think all buffets should have gloves. Even before covid. Thanks for watching 😎😎
Dienners also has a couple of eating places including a breakfast counter at the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. There is an entire Lancaster County Amish section there.
We didn't know about that location. We appreciate you telling us. 😎😎
Awwwwww man I will have to add this to my list of places to come visit and eat
Great deal for decent food 😎😎
Sausage gravy!!!
I love fried mush, too, Bobbie. I live in Indiana, but I was born in Pennsylvania. It must be in the genes!
It must be. My mom always made it. The sausage gravy was very good too 😎😎
Fried mush wot on earth sir would you like some fried mush lol was like when I was in Egypt and the was red sauce and green sauce that's it and you no wot one was red other green tell me more Haha mush
This is a gem of a place cozy and homey and great food with always a very nice staff.
Everyone was very friendly. They were informative and kept everything clean and full. 😎😎
Looks so yummy!! You have got to try grits with extra butter!! Take it from this Mississippi girl.
Everything was very good and a great price. 😎😎
Breakfast is my favourite meal and that was outstanding! Thanks for making my stomach GROWL
They have a nice buffet. We are sorry about making you hungry. We appreciate you watching. 😎😎
Yummmm! My husband and I were just there in May for dinner- so yummy! Have you all tried the Strasberg scooter tours? We did a tour this time around and it was the highlight of our trip!
Bobby - you always look so cute! Beautiful hair,, makeup, and nails!
Oh goodness- forgive my typos lol
* Strasburg
** Bobbi lol
Thanks ok. I do the same thing. Lol😎😎
We have not tried the scooter tours. Thanks for the nice compliment 😎😎
The food looks so yummy! especially those bacon!
Everything was very good. 😎😎
One of our family's favorite restaurants. We loved it for both the breakfast and evening meal buffets. They don't make anything there that isn't good! I miss it!
They do a nice job. Everything was very good. Thanks for watching and commenting 😎😎
We thought it was a very nice buffet. The food was good and they had a lot to choose from. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😎😎
I like syrup on my fried mush! My best friends grandma Opal made it for us when we were kids....good memories!
I have never tried syrup on my mush. My Grandmother's name was Opal too.😎😎
Certainly different from any breakfast we get here in Scotland, but looks nice enough even though I don't know what half of that stuff is lol
Great price and the food was very good. I put butter on mush but some people put syrup. Thanks for watching 😎😎
I would simply load my plate with sausages, bacon, and dump a pile of gravy over it. Oh, I'd also get me some biscuits and butter.
That sounds good. I love biscuits and gravy. 😎😎
My southern Grandmother made corn meal mush alot . add butter and a little syrup it was delicious...
I bet it was. Don't see mush much anymore. 😎😎
LOL! "Picked this one out because it had the most icing"!. 😄
Yep beat way to pick a Cinnamon roll.😎😎
We have been to this area on numerous occasions and Dienner's has been our breakfast place every day we were in Lancaster, PA. It's definately a place "where the locals eat" including the Amish people we've also seen there.
It is a good place to eat. The prices are very reasonable. 😎😎
Next time you are there try Agape Cafe and Grill. Its AMAZING!!
I've worked in the food industry for a long time here is a little hint for buffet's most of the cheap food like salad is the 1st items you come to the more expensive items are usually the last things you come to
John always tells me not to fill up on the salad bar.😎😎
Hmmm Tasty Buffet! Even the bacon looked good!
It was very good for the price we paid. 😎😎
Looks Awesome!!!! 💜💜💜💜
Great place to eat. 😎😎
Have you ever done Yoder's Buffet in New Holland, PA? I have seen you do just about every other buffet in that area.
We did do it last week and filmed it. Will bring it out probably this weekend if I can get it edited. It was very good with different items on the buffett. 😎😎
