    I'm still hoping for an official walkthrough video of the Bering 145. Crossing my fingers.

    I have lived on a ship for 10 years of my life working my way up to Chief Mate unlimited until I decided it was time to retire home with wife and family. Alexi is certainly correct when he emphasizes noise and vibration is a pressure that is constantly pressing you. For superyachts this is even more important. When I purchase a vessel soon (likely the 77) Bering is going to be the company that takes my money!

    Excellent video.
    I've been made more aware of these items and issues sence watching a video about your seventy foot produced by NautiStyles. In this video the noise and vibration was discussed both in the engine room and the helm. After watching I have paid closer attention to the information provided by other Yachting Channels and Boat Builder videos. Even though the total time of discussion about these two important issues is limited, Ive found that no other builder has attempted to relay to the viewers how these issues have been addressed. From stem to stern I believe that the Bering design teams and builders have incorporated more industry standards across your entire fleet. In doing so, you've set a new standards exceeding those of most builders.
    Well Done Bering!

    This line of videos is most helpful in building your brand equity.
    The longer videos go further instead of the short promos. When the leadership team is on video this builds further trust.

      @@Beringyachts I called Bering's USA phone number to ask what the processes were to buy a custom vessel. The only thing she would tell me was payment schedules, and nothing else. How does a customer get more information, other than payment schedules? Or do I need to hire someone to talk to Bering?

    Without relation with this video, I observed some mistake on your site on specs. of the B77; so, if it's an 77 ft. yacht it should be under 24 M; but on the site the length appear to be 25.97 M (85ft. + 2in.); it's kind of confussing! Could you clearify this data ?
    Thank you and respect for the great job you all do.

    The information you provided was excellent, but you talked about a new B77 “Veronica”. How does the technology you use today translate to older Bering yachts? I appreciate crew safety, from both sides of the coin. The infra-sound, or low vibration sound can be disturbing to some crew and passengers. I would want the safest yacht for family, friends and crew to explore the world.

    • @Beringyachts
      @Beringyachts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear Robert, you are correct, Veronika is about one-year old, and we are constantly improving safety and protection on our boats. Bering seeks feedback from the current yacht owners and we use this experience when building new boats. At the same time, all Bering vessels were and are made with the highest standards in mind, and noise protection on the earlier models are also up to the regulation recommendations.

    This is a great video telling us about 100 times what it is. I am requesting, as an international Yachttube expert widely recognized and vetted, that Bering fly me out to Turkey and I will do a series of tests and make a report. Please contact Victoria or Rico, David Seals, Tristan Mortlock, Jared Watney or Nick Burnham from Aquaholic to get my contact info so that we may set this up. Thank you. Look forward to seeing you again Alexei

    I am maybe not getting it, but sailing noise was always higher than the norms, so it actually seems, that the ship is to loud when sailing, or am I wrong?

    I do have one other question is there a model that could be built with an elevator for handicap or elderly

    • @hycel78
      @hycel78 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Having a family member permanently on a wheelchair I was wondering about that too. I’m sure for a proper fee they would be able to accommodate an elevator request on any model. But it would not end there as wheelchair usually needs wider doors and more room to move around and extra space in one of the heads. These are trade offs sacrificing space planned for something else. Please don’t forget You would also need a way for that person to be helped on and off the boat. Tender lift might do the trick. 🤔 Now that I think about it, it might be easier to redesign the wheelchair. Just my two cents.

    • @elcajondavid1
      @elcajondavid1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You know they have those aftermarket stair chairs for inside and outside for homes, but I would imagine they would also work on a yacht and I am sure they run on a D.C. motor. The only problem is that you would have to keep a wheel chair on every level.

    Great video - but: Why talk about the B77 "Veronika" when the filming is of the B70?

    • @Beringyachts
      @Beringyachts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the comment! All the footage of the noise and vibration measures process used in this video was done onboard of B77 Veronika. However, since Veronika was not available when we were filming the rest of this video, we used footage of other Bering yachts.

  • @marcoh6618
    @marcoh6618 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Maybe I misread the numbers, but the B77 does not even seem to come close the the recommended sound levels whilst sailing for the internal spaces? Owners cabins: B77=54dB, recommended level range from 45 to 53dB; Guest cabin: B77=59.8, recommender levels range from 45 to 54dB.
    Nothing that a 3dB increase is a doubling in sound level, it's quite a large exceedence?

    • @foxxster3565
      @foxxster3565 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, a 3db increase is NOT doubling the sound level. 10db is double the sound level. 3db is double the energy. So to increase sound by 3 db for example you would need to double the amount of power used to drive speakers.

    • @linsen8890
      @linsen8890 ปีที่แล้ว

      The point is that the noise levels of a Bering 77 - a relatively small yacht - are comparable to and in many cases better than those of a super yacht, which are at *minimum* 24 meters, or 79 feet, in length and are governed by much stricter regulations.

    • @foxxster3565
      @foxxster3565 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@linsen8890 that is the exact OPPOSITE of the point the original post was making.

    • @peterparker219
      @peterparker219 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree to the original commenter, that's also the way I interprete the figures.
      Some clarification by Bering would be helpful in what condition the exceeding measures were taken e.g. if they reflect actual reasonable operation of the vessel or were they taken with both engines running at full revs.
      Nevertheless these measures seem to me very acceptable compared to those on typical GRP hulled boats in the 24 meter range.

    • @foxxster3565
      @foxxster3565 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@peterparker219 the original post is WRONG. A 3db increase is NOT doubling the sound level. However the measurements were over the recommended levels. So I suppose correct about that.
