One of the best spiritual conversations I have heard recently..simply great....
Such wisdom coming from a person who has experienced Life in all possible ways one can think of yet such realisations....words seem to reveal, how he had revisited his past several times with more and more clarity and wisdom.....
This make me believe, your roots do matter....
I am ever grateful to be born in this divine country....where people don't think, they contemplate....they don't age , they get wiser and wiser and pave paths for the new generation

Shekhar Kapoor is a tripped out person - a friend of mine toook a long walk with him and A R Rahman and told me - these guys are insane, they aren’t normal - they swing in many levels - thus they are able to bring out great art - it’s not them - it’s something through them 🙏❤️

I ,along with my teenager friends and sister, used to play with shekhar kapoor's sister Nanni in Khankhana's tomb in Nizamuddin East, new delhi . This was in the late 1960s or maybe early 1970s. I only remember that Shekhar Kapoor used to come to take his sister home. Came to know many years later that he was Shekhar kapoor ,the film director.

Try to find good lyricists/authors regardless of their reputation/fame. Sometimes d best insights/wisdom comes from d pitiful/downtrodden/unlikely sources. Music/poetry has a way of opening up new dimensions, just like new languages can open up new ways of living/being/doing. Never put urself in a box by limiting ur tastes in any fields. Today I saw this podcast. This is Shekhar Kapoor, totally boundaryless thoughts. No strings attached to the thoughts, expression what he really felt in his life. That's why he is legend. So many times we don't understand what's happening with us, some people understand what's happening with them and they deal with it but very few people are their who can understand what's happening and they can express that in true sentences. Keep on going Ranveer. You are doing fantastic job

Watching this I just realised, growing up Mr India was my favourite movie as a five year old probably have watched it min 10 times and as a post graduate twenty years later he- Shekhar Kapoor handed me my degree on stage in my convocation. I didn’t realise this at that time 😄 I have never known him as a person but getting to know him here and listen to him talk about his point of view and his experience of his life is nice! I love when people have lived their lives with a deeper understanding.

Please continue this organic conversation ranging from his experiences and perspectives about life, burden of being a nephew of two stalwarts in Hindi film industry, relationships, parenting, success, failure, regrets in life, bucket list, etc. His future projects, why India is not producing good content - real stories - likes of Persian movies, Korean movies; his favorite movies, directors, etc. The conversation with Pankaj Kapur could be a series!

I don't know about other people but I needed to listen to this conversation so much....contemplating on life and hearing that supreme conscious is multiple consciousness working in a chaotic harmony is what I had been thinking of but not able to frame it in words....this is why it is said why words are tools of manifestation or the basic understanding of human consciousness.
At the end of the day, we are all stories and that's the reason why we love stories because we are innately one of them...

munawar faruqui Is your best friend. You have quote this line most of your videos. Even than you are talking with spiritual guru. Express that you connect the spiritual. This is hippopotamus hidden in other skin. Really I like your spiritual talks. I have lots of gratitude with that saint.
But you are really.... No words after that for you

I hope Mr. Shekhar Kapoor makes a movie out of his Lahore experiences, including the wedding and the Shawl vendor. It will be quite nostalgic for those who went through partition and younger generation will get to understand the pain, suffering, and the aftermath.

Wonderful discussion. The only thing missing was Masoom. How can we leave that out of discussion. Will wait for another podcast with Shekhar Kapoor for that. Great questions and very interesting chat

Shekar kapur is a completely different man. I had a different thought about him. He is more conscious aware than most baba's. Liked his self awareness and learned a lot

Watching ur shows is always a pleasure, but this one was one of the bestest on this channel! I just love the way u ask questions during interview. The huge homework n thinking behind each question is felt.
Have been always a fan of Shekhar Kapoor n today that respect went even higher listening to his views on spiritualism.

Love Mr. Shekhar Kapoor. Always a gentleman and a real person. Humble, grounded and immensely talented. I can see how he must have suffered around the illiterate crowd at Bollywood.

One thing about Punjabis generally. Story telling ease is fantastic. even people as diverse as say, Najam Sethi and Shekar Kapur...natural ease hoti hai. No distraction. flow is amazing

It was a great conversation..i tried to relate my self to him on that universal consciousness point....how amazingly he is talking about it...real world or not...its an imaginary world...things happen bcoz they are destined to happen...means icant express my self ...but its real nice to listen from a successful person on a international level..how much he is proud to be an Indian...don't showoff for a impression ...selftalent is the need to be different...thanks ranveer and shekharji
