I just bumped into this episode accidentally whilst having a break from my painting a landscape. Gosh, I felt my father is back, my brother is back ,my best is back and my soul mate is out there though I had no idea who Madhvan was. The way he brought our asian values, our understanding of human condition, respect and love for our elders, that innocence, comradeships, love for adventure but with a sense of your own cultural identity ingrained instilled throughout younger days, myriads of specific details some are so minute may be even trivial yet so significant he just connected with one's most innermost values even one didn't know one had deep down! I went back to my poetry writing immediately after this as it gave so much joy and brought back all wonderful memories about my past! I have to meet this Madhvan guy though I live in the west at the moment! Of course Ranveer is such a great podcaster ,thank you and congratulations on your award too. 22:27 Almost today's child here. Right now I'm not a child, was a few years ago. A 2000s kid. Its a perspective thing. As I heard from this pod, I basically did everything a 90s kid used to. Kids from 2008 onwards have become the type of kids that are always at home, don't socialize. Not everyone. Not right to generalize it for everyone. Yes, it happens, but can't disregard the fact that there are so many people, all my friends, my colleagues, people who are close to me.
If you're refering to children, especially the ones after 2010, then you're 100% right!

33:48 The Fact that being 90's born and from 1998, I too feel disconnected and some what different from the Gen Z is quite discomforting and confusing at times. It's hard to find the people who are like minded because of how people tend to evolve or learn different things effecting their personality and approach towards life. It's quite True that it's very unsettling.

I was not fan, but the music that some in "Harry potter and the prisoner of the azakaban" same like, but HP is better in way, like fluently basuri of krisna ,listen very good. 😊 Really,my thoughts, not fan of diya mirza that type, but the imraan hasmi and her nxt movie was little good yes good ok. 😊 All have the diff. genre , both r best their ways, 😉 I respect thats. Now things changes. Everyone have different kind of genre in childhood, now in adult hmm.😅😊😢❤

I grew up in Pune.. and when I saw Madhavan as a film star in Tamil.. I felt so connected.. a person living his life outside of his home state and becoming a star in TN by speaking our language and then being in Hindi and being so humble.. he is a very well aware man of whole India I would say.. he is a gem.. and so happy to see this entire podcast.. and thanks for honoring him the same way how we feel.. ❤❤

Hey Ranveer, this conversation really took me back to my childhood phase even in my 40's. Actually "Maddy" was the first few character that touched some part of my heart when I watched this (CD's era) movie alone in a sleepy crowd started at midnight 2am in one remote village. The emotion, the phase, and the ❤story I attached to this were on a different level. Though I'm not an engineer, but both these movies (adding "3 Idiots") are relatable to my college days as well.
I loved listening to you both in such a deep and truly unfiltered conversation; it really pleasant my soul. Thank you for creating this podcast. I'm also lucky to have to have such unfiltered conversations with my TamBram bro and a few desi kattas.
Congratulations, Ranveer bro, on your achievements, and best wishes to Maddy for his new release, giving us a new experience.❤❤❤
