If they're thinking Pathan brings back Bollywood to its old glory days, they're absolutely wrong. Bollywood still has very hard days ahead. No doubt something was/is fundamentally wrong there. The guys like the one being interviewed need to survive here, they will never speak about what is wrong. They need an external viewpoint to know dirty reality of their fraternity. Unless bollywood correts its act, it will not gain back same love masses once showered on them.

You forgot to ask one question abt SSR , why whole film industry remained silent on SSR’s demise? The big shot stars.. why no one raised their voice for fair investigation? Bollywood may continue to live for more years but we won’t forget and forgive abt SSR.
That’s a misconception I think… there’s not a specific type of person who has mental health issues. Any person can suffer from mental health issues, because they do stem from genetic and biological factors as well as lifestyle. So for example, depression is in my family, generationally on both sides, and I didn’t know that, my cousins didn’t know that. We only found out about it after we broke the stigma and shared our own struggles with our family. Then we realized that maybe we had genetic risk factors for these issues. That’s why stigma is so dangerous. Also, trauma and stressors are very personal. We can’t know from the outside what traumas or stressors he was exposed to in his life. Even your closest family may not know, because no one is privy to everything another person goes through or how those experiences affected them. Only the person who goes through it can know.

45:50 The reality is also that no one from Bollywood came in support of SSR. You may talk about political narrative being floated against Bollywood but the majority of Indians also saw how SSR was treated after the demise. Just because Pathan got hit rest movies flopped doesn't take away the fact that Bollywood was badly exposed on many fronts. One just can't blame it as merely a play of narratives. Also, I have interacted with some of the members of the Rising Sun Films too. The way this person is simply white washing everything is partial truth. So take everything as pinch of salt. I have some close friends and dear one's are there in TVF and other areas working as associate directors and many other areas. Ranveer, I watch and admire your shows. But after Sushant passed away, I am completely put off by the names Shahrukh and Salman. I watched this only for Sushant. I was touched, moved and inspired by what I heard about him. My feelings for Salman and Sharukh have died. I don’t care for artists who lost humanity.
