Will it need to have an alignment after the suspension lift is installed?

Hey man, I need some advice on how to deal with the welding shop that I took my Jeep to.
I recently took my 93 YJ to a very reputable welding shop in town to have the frame worked on. They installed safe t caps under the transfer plate skid, repaired one of the roll bar mounts, and repaired the rear sections of the frame by the shackle mounts.
Unfortunately when I picked it up I didn’t have time to do a thorough look over. I have since got it home and noticed that they did not cut out any of the rusted out section underneath at any location, but simply welded new plates over. I may be wrong, but I did not think that is how it should properly be done? How should I go about confronting this shop and dealing with this. I want to be nice about it, but I also paid good money to take it to a reputable shop and have it done right. Any help is appreciated.

It wouldn't be rude to call and just inquire about the procedure they used. Any good shop would be more than happy to tell you. If they didn't cut the rusty sections out, it will speed up the corrosion process. The only thing you could do at that point is to heavily treat the interior of the frame with eastwood inner frame coating. Once the caps go in it would be very difficult to cut them back out to do it right. I'm hoping they did right but for sure call them and ask. If they didn't cut it out I would ask them to coat the interior of the frame for you at no cost.

MorFab Industries Thank you for the reply! I will definitely be taking this advice. Seriously regretting not making the 6-7 hour trek to bring it to your shop
