Can The Porsche Macan GTS Be Used On A Daily Basis?

- The Porsche Macan GTS is now the top of the line trim in the Macan lineup but does it have what it takes to be a good daily driver? Few people know this by looking at how Porsche is doing now but they were in a lot of trouble financially 15-20 years ago. To make a long story short Porsche was basically rescued by the Cayenne, their first SUV and since then we've now also got the baby Cayenne, the Macan.
The Macan is the smaller, sportier SUV from Porsche and its in a very competitive segment where sportiness isnt really a selling point, but, that hasnt stopped Porsche from being Porsche. The Macan is a good looking, luxury/sport SUV with alot of style and great dynamics. This Macan GTS trim I got to drive replaces the Turbo and you could barley tell the difference. So in this video ill share my thoughts on the Macan GTS and whether or not its suitable as a daily driver

Porsche has made Android Auto available in their never version of PCM. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like the Macan has it yet.

I have a 2023 GTS and it's just so much fun to drive. Did not even bother to look at the BMW X3M when was shopping for a new vehicle.

I have had two Macan’s, currently have the 2020 macan s and i do like the buttons. Easy to use, nice click, and no finger prints. Give me buttons anytime, no touch screens!
Wife has a Macan GTS. She's a real estate agent and puts around 2K-2.5K miles a month on the car. So I'd say - yes. It's a very good daily driver - other than the crappy $$$MPG$$$.

It's designed to be a daily use car. Desperate for content? Ours does the school run, shopping, kids taxi, the lot. Here's a clue, it's an SUV.

😂…I think the worst offender in this category has to be the channel, “Raiti’s Rides”. Every video is titled with a question that a 5 year old would ask. Absolutely shameless, lol.

I have a 2023 python green GTS. I enjoy the car a lot (very refined). I don't mind the haptic buttons actually but the dust on the piano black is non-stop.
I put satin PPF on mine, works a treat.
I just drove my 2018 GTS to 100,000 miles. Norma tire wear, service etc. My daily driver and it’s so much fun and solid. I like the center console with buttons. Not a fan of the glass look.
Thinking of tricking it out with better and bigger turbos to pump up

The older button layout for the center console was actually a turn off for me, waiting on a 2023 chalk GTS myself for May, cant wait!
The new center console looks much better
For me the price is a turn off and the stupidly overpriced options which are usually included 100% in other brands

When did you put your order in for the GTS?
looks great. getting ready to order My Chalk GTS. , question - I dont always want a loud exhaust sound every time I start it , can it be set to start without the pops and cracks ? also wondering about the burmester speakers , whats your thoughts over the Bose since its a lot more 9 $5700. ?

Had one, got bored quick - Feels heavy (it is i know) and horrible on gas :) I will say though, the build quality is next level - no creaks or noises anywhere.

You still have Sport Plus mode, etc, without it.

backseat is insulting for the length of the car and the price
not the best.......or the worst
I’ve had no complaints from back seat passengers. I use this car for my Real Estate business, so usually only one backseat passenger at a time, but if you’re seriously looking at a family haul vehicle with similar capabilities, go Cayenne.
I’m good at pushing buttons just ask my wife and boss 🤷🏻
