      Quick tip. You wont get shin splints if you do it right😃 1. Skipping rope... 2. Calf raises with toes pointed out, in and neutral... 3. Foam rolling your calfs and shins before and after every run😃.... you dont want to treat shin splints.. you want to prevent it cuz they hurt a lot

I had shin splints and knee pain alllllllll the time for like an entire year and nothing I did and no amount of rest made them go away. Then I bought a pair of water shoes, the ones with the little toes that have no padding or anything, basically just imitates being barefoot. And guess what! Within like 3 days the shin splints and knee pain were gone! Going on my second year no injuries!100% Would suggest trying it and making sure to recover properly, stretching and massaging every day

      I use to have such knee pain that I wore knee brace to bed and put pillows under the knees. I tried running through the pain, over pronating, under pronating, sports tape, shoe insoles. Nothing worked. Terrible knee pain on sidewalk, treadmill or dirt trail. Then I read “Born to run”. I got run flats and ran on toes/midfoot.
      No more knee pain.

    My tip: if you have shin splints that are not taken care of by stretching, you must take a break. Otherwise, you will slowly fracture your bones more and more until you can’t walk and need surgery. If you have not run in a while please do not beat yourself up if you need to take time to rest, heal and gain muscle mass.

      Good 👍🏻 job !!! I did that for 5 months . Till my knee broke for 8 yrs n all d ppl warn me u need rest days : 1 muscles 💪🏼 need to be re built , so it should be 1 on 1 off 2 on 1 off , 1 on 1 off … never 3 on . 1 off or 5 on 2 off . For doing 30 days in a row … d micro muscle will just kept losing . N micro damage . U will start to hit a wall 2 months in suddenly reverse progress .
      2. Body takes a lot of effort to diagest good n repair muscles 💪🏼, it is constantly repairing , can cause Chronic information . Not good for body . When we constant diagest good to repair our organs diagestive organs can break down fast . No pain but not good for health !
      3 body constantly under stress lack of cal , can triger body to “believe oh she is poor no food 🥘, but going Thru hard label job ! Let me try to save d fat “ . It wil triger prolonged fat hoarding that u have NO way of shutting it down ! -- that’s why ppl pre wedding , pre vacation always work out , then gain like 10 lb within 4 weeks (that’s fast . Normally for me same shape will take me like 4 months to gain that much even if I try to BINGE now )
      Also our professor in Nutriion class -- “why athlete look so fit “ they sell an image of fit , trying so
      Hard !! It’s actually 80% on diet , 20% working out ! Cuz most ppl don’t even realize it’s not the gym but the chef/prep meals on time , eating 🍽 on good schedule , no missing meals . N those athlete workout will always make u fatter . Because that type of workout r for compition on going training . It’s never sustainable. That’s why most athlete get FAT aft they retire from sports . If u get on that type of diet n training . U will get fatter . It’s not about weight gain , but when get fatter , will make u feel more defeated , helpless , hopeless 😩 aft a the hard work . N can effect mental health cause depression, n use more food to feed the urge . It can triger ED ! “
      Good luck! U need to take protein shape 15 min before hand , 15 min adt . N do not train like her . Trust me . I tried to peove my professor wrong ( I attended in class program ) . My husband tried it too when i leant what we commonly do or taught by personal trainers r NOT working (cuz majority personal trainers have Eating Disorder themselves, they live double life ) . My husband tried to prove me wrong . In d end I got both out of ED forever . Like Damn . I wish everyone take legit Nutriion n health in school just for sake of it . Still cheaper than Personal trainer. Gym fee in long run !
      Ps I did half marathon 21 km 2.5 hrs . I did CN Tower climb (most tall young men will be 20-25 min. I did 18 ) d harder u stress d body , the harder it’s going to hoard fat to prepare for next BIG stress . It’s endless loop 🔂!

    • @zf6873
      @zf6873 2 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      I think it’s possible to achieve.. for me, I had a baby & I’m overweight, it took me running and exercising everyday (it’s been 60 days now) to be able to run 6-10 miles a day on a treadmill.
      The first week i started it took me 30 mins to run 2 miles. Gradually increased the speed and miles every couple days.. and at about 2 months I was able to do so. Took lots of blisters and soreness but it’s achievable even if you’re not previously active. I think other factors such as health and diet definitely play a role though. Consistency is key..
