I used to pop pills and got addicted to it, I was overdosing left and right. Got into legal trouble and now I have to stay sober and now I have nearly 2 years clean from narcotics. I use nicotine as a sorta coping mechanism when I want to feel something or my anxiety kicks in or wtv tf. Nowadays I don’t get anything out of my vape, I can’t go literally 5 minutes without hitting my vape and I even wake up from sleep randomly throughout the night just to hit a few blinkers and go back to sleep. I am so deep in the addiction to nicotine but it is one of the biggest factors in keeping me away from narcotics. It’s sad frl

as someone who has seriously tried to quit nicotine, but has failed. it becomes a no longer enjoyable thing. here’s my thought process on it, when you start you get lightheaded and it feels cool for a second, then you do it more frequently in hopes you get that lightheaded sensation again, and then you put it down because it seems very pointless, then as time goes on you think about that feeling, and then you it occurs you could get that same feeling because you haven’t used it in a while, so you do it again, and the cycle continues. (i watched the rest of this video and the guy joe’s watching goes over this so now i feel like typing that was pointless.)

I used to vape and eventually quit months later after realizing how it changed my activity in training and my everyday life. Definitely not worth vaping even if you think nothing has happened. Because something has and you just don’t know it until you do your usual. It was tough quitting, but it is 100% possible.

It’s definitely causes an extremely comforting buzz and is an intense habit forming addiction.
I started vaping at 13, not just nicotine but THC carts too, what sucks about both is you literally just don’t know what’s inside them. A month ago 25% of my lungs, the bottom portion right above the diaphragm, was giving out and I couldn’t fully inhale. It’s really scary as I was on the verge of having my lungs fill up with mucus but I really did have some sort of blessing to realize after 5 years I was a dumbass, not just wasting my health, but thousands of dollars that could’ve went into school, a car or even lil designer fits I like making, yes, I am 18 now and barely lived through 1/5 of my life. I will put the truth in everyone’s mouth even if it makes you tremble or terrifies you because that is what addiction does, it dismisses your problems and the inevitable which I was so thankful to get away from. Finally, it’s been about a month and I been using my money wisely, being productive in music and loving each and every minute of my life, God bless whoever is blinded to this absolute garbage because you can really only guide yourself through this. DD outta here ✌️❤️

Nicotine is addictive because it helps you focus more when you first start doing it. It’s keeps you productive, but the addiction comes when you keep chasing the mind relaxation
Sometimes it makes you jittery but for the most part it calms your mind and keeps you on task once the high comes down

The reason that we keep doing it is because eventually, our bodies become dependent on the chemical in the sense that without it, you feel jittery, anxious and just uncomfortable. The instant you light a cig or hit a vape, I feel calmer, warmer and more comfortable

With nicotine, you get a placebo but somewhat not placebo effect of feeling aware. Then, your body was gonna like it. So, even if you don't like it, your body wants it. So you do it again. And it's gonna repeat that, and eventually, your body is gonna slowly require it. At first it won't be huge, you'll probably be just a little tired maybe. But at one point, your body will be very dependent on the point you can't function without. You get upset easily, can't focus, tired, mad, angry. And to quit it straight up, just gone, cold turkey, the withdrawal is gonna be crazy. It's gonna eat at you, and it's gonna suck every day. But its gonna get easier, every day. You just got to do it, every day.
Nicotine is a stimulant, so that's where the "feeling aware" thing comes from. Basically, nicotine is a more dangerous and addictive version of caffeine.
(Honestly, that last statement probably depends on how you define addictive and dangerous)

Vaping is a really bad problem at my school and I did it before and got addicted for a week and stoped bc I felt like my body was gonna collapse and I feal so better without it but others they couldn’t give it up that easy so there’s my rant
it’s not considered an addiction if it was only a week. that’s basically just trying and finding out you don’t like something. an addiction is something longterm that affects your life negatively.
I've tried vaping for like a month, and apparently it was 50% nic or something and people said it was a lot, but it was nothing I don't really see the appeal, the clouds are cool to look at and it smells nice, but it doesn't do anything, couldn't even build an addiction, I'm not the addictive type but still, and when it would die people would tweeker rig it by taking it apart and cutting up a phone charger to get a few more puffs, looks like a tiny bomb, they are literally everywhere, and since it's illegal in Cali for flavored ones or something like that, people just bought as many as they could before they stopped selling them and sell them for probably triple the price, or they switched to wax pens wich is objectively worse.
What the fuck, that is a legitimate thing??? I know people charge their cartridges and sell life-changing things for more pods but... tearing into phone chargers??

i did that whole "imma quit" nic like 4 times, and eventualy i did go without one for like going on 10 months now
