You grew a very nice garden this year Tova. The root cellar is great and you organized it so well. Mathias, you are not the first person to ever have to make adjustments to a previous project. It happens to everyone. Ivar is so helpful now, what a great son!
It is always a thrill to me when you have uploaded a new video. I especially enjoyed Ivar's expression of pride from his first filming experience. He is such a healthy and joyful boy A note about preparing the garden for winter: if you cut the peas at the ground instead of pulling them out, you will leave behind their roots. This is beneficial for your soil because legumes form nodules on their Roots which contain abundant nitrogen that they pulled from the air during their growth. If you pull the roots out, you will also pull out the nodules. This will remove the benefits of the nitrogen from your soil. Of course I am sure you are composting your peas along with your other garden waste. But the composting process removes nitrogen also. So if you leave the nodules in it is best for the garden. You can still turn the soil over and pull weeds and plant your cover crop if you plan to do that. Buckwheat, fall rye, winter peas Karma etc I will also fix nitrogen at different levels in the soil. Proud patreon for 2 years now, I look forward to watching your videos, they are simply perfect and beautiful.
Ivar is such a good helper! You all work together so well. We call our old-timey seeds and potatoes "heirloom quality." Nice fix for the house window frame! Yes, I also think I will remember what jam I made, when I put off labeling!
Ivar always makes me smile! He is such a handsome little man and look so so much like my own little guy who is 2.5yrs old. That was a very nice harvest of potatoes for just your first year planting them there! They should store very well in that beautiful cellar! I am very jealous of that cellar. Oh and "Heirloom" is the word we use for "old time" seeds and I do love those as they normally taste the best and grow well if they are from your climate origionaly. As for the length and content I totally think thats up to you 2 and only you 2. Its your channel and I love it because you put in what you think should be in and it works beautifully! Thanks so much as always for sharing! Watching your beautiful snow in winter from Hot Florida USA where it never snows so i live vicariously through you in the winter for sure!
Fridge coming along well... those wreaths are gorgeous dear Tuva... great you found the upstairs window solution (looks great)... lovely cat purrs... potato feast to come... sweet Ivar is growing so fast and really staring to help you guys a lot (and not lobotomized in front of a tablet)... and becoming a videographer yay!... crucial topic of fluoride in water... finally you guys will be able to rest a bit in winter. Much gratitude dear guys for this wonderful video 💙🙂
It is so incredibly nice to see Ivar read a book and do puzzles instead of looking at a cell phone!!!!!! Of course him helping with the shovel and hoe working alongside the adults too. What a healthy upbringing ❤❤❤
What another beautiful episode ! All the way I felt what you said at the end : enjoying the moment -even if in autumn it is rush rush rush before everything is frozen. but what I realized in this very episode is that I have been following you since before Ivar was born (and what a magical video you made !)... and watching him helping Tova in the cellar was almost a shock : wasn’t it yesterday ? He is a big boy now... but he still has the freedom to put the tail at the end of the arm in the puzzle ! I love that you chose to keep this moment... A very special episode indeed. Please, do not worry about the length and let your brain do its job : it’s magic to me. 🧡✨
Another perfect episode, I especially love watching Ivar engaging in all the activities with you both, he is learning so much that will be valuable to him in the future.

Tovar, I have watched your channel for a long time, your garden has evolved and it is truly beautiful. It is nice to see how your new home has integrated with the garden and the cellar. Ivar did a great first job of holding the camera, he is a delightful and helpful boy to you both. Matthias, everything you do, shows you desire to have it as perfect as humanly possible. The window in the upper floor looks wonderful. Wonderful work from all of you!
Autumn is always busy if you own property. Raking leaves for compost, pruning trees and shrubs, finishing projects, painting, etc. I also feel the urgency of getting work done before fall rains and freezes. This year I grew sunflowers for the birds. Today I cleaned up the dried heads, saving the seeds for the birds. That’s good to not lose the seeds to bad weather. Once your house is done, you will enjoy it for many years.
The to do list is endless on a farm homestead, especially with animals to care for and a house to build.. Great that you have the approach of enjoying it all, I totally agree! And then you see the cat purring and blissed out in your lap by the fire, it reminds us that everything is just as it should be, all is well!

I have found that I can 'hill' my potatoes with straw or old hay, instead of dirt. & then to make the harvest easier....I don't dig with a hoe, as your mom is doing. I go down the rows sideways with a pitch fork & lift the soil all the way down the row, one side and then the other. then the potatoes are all popped loose & only need to be picked up by hand. I grow enough potatoes to last the whole year - my top year was 11 bushels (in a very, very small square footage)!!! The rows hilled with straw/hay also discourage weeds which also keeps the soil much looser for easier harvest. &&&&& when I am done digging potatoes that old straw gets left right on the rows & rots down for next year. My soil is BLACK & loose. I know that straw/hay is more difficult for you guys to obtain, due to your different weather conditions (from one of your much older vids), but maybe you could experiment with a row & see what you think.
Yay!!! SO GOOD to see you! The window looks great! Ivar’s camera work is super cute! Cellar shelves look amazing and so much more functional. What is life without jars of *mystery food* 😄. Rumor around USA is that fluoride will soon no longer be added in the water. Many have woken up to the dangers of fluoride. Thankfully, our city uses well water and does not add fluoride. We also have a reverse osmosis water filtration system (with remineralizing added). Have a good week and “we’ll see you in the next one”. ☺️💕
I always get 'crazy' looks from my kids' doctor when I would refuse the fluoride pills they are always pushing. When I was small, they handed the little pink pills out in class every morning & unfortunately our parents didn't know any better. Did you know that Teflon is made with fluoride (that is what the flo stands for in the name)....??? studies are now linking Teflon with the increase in Celiac's disease. I had a lot of undiagnosed, very aggravated digestive disorders. I threw ALL my teflon away when I read that research. I switch to stainless steel & cast iron & 'mysteriously' my issues went away (not completely, because I have some other issues concerning that - but it went from constant bouts of it, down to 3-4 a year). I was almost debilitated by the issues I was having.

One time I opened up a jar of potatoes for vegetable soup and instead found pears! That was my dilemma! It just didn’t work! 😂 I love your underground food storage! Wonderful.
one time I accidentally cooked an ACORN in with tiny potatoes from the root cellar. My husband heated up his potatoes at work & wondered 'what the heck is that thing rolling around in the tupperware'????? We have laughed over that many times!

The last days of green time are always delicious and extra fun, with the anticipation of winter. As always, love your posts and videos. Hugs to the family and community!
The window looks fantastic. I guess you feel the same way about the autumn rush like I do before Christmas. Preparing for the summer heat here down under.
Lovely wreath! We used a “potato fork” to dig potatoes. It’s a pitchfork with wide, flat tines. Watching work on the house warms my heart. Great job, Ivar!
I think it’s fine that you post when you have things to show and say, and however long it takes to accumulate enough for a post makes it feel more genuine. You will be able to do twice as much soon with your new cameraman!
From your friends on the Oregon coast, we like the longer videos. Well done on the window, centered looks very good and it still looks like the original. Keep up the good work! Brian and Cathy
Definitely your episodes are not an issue. They are very lovely and I enjoy watching all the time. God’s blessings 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏don’t overdo too much and enjoy the winter coming!

My grandfather was from Uppsala. I never got to see the home country. Stay safe out there, and God bless you and keep you always happy and healthy.
I love you, wonderful family! I always keep my heart tight till you release a new documentary about your life. ♥️ I simply adore you, I wish one day I can meet you in person and tell you how much your shared story means to me! 💛✨
One of my favourite slots of post retirement days is watching the mesmerizing Talasbuan.God bless you all abundantly.❤😊
Such a joy watching Ivar grow up. Thank you for that!
Always, always, always make the time fit the content, not the content fit the time. Whatever the time, your videos are generally little gems. As is Ivar!
Ivar is growing up so fast ❤
I do enjoy your videos so much. Ivor is so much fun to watch helping you both. I hope more young couples decide to have a similar lifestyle protecting the land
I love the longer episodes. Ivar is turning into such a help. Can't wait for the next....

I was so surprised and happy to see you were listening to dr Sam Bailey & Christine Massey!!! Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! Hopefully some of your followers will check them out!!
Shedding the superstitious and falsified belief in the germ hypothesis is so incredibly freeing! My wish is that every man and woman could experience this.
@@Talasbuan Exactly my dear friend! What a great liberation to live "off-grid" germ theory!! Hopefully Dr Sam and Christine can view this... Thank you for sharing your life and your views on life!
@@Talasbuan Thank you so much for the mention. I am grateful to hear you are free in your mind, spirit and life 🙏
@@DrSamBailey Thank you Sam and your husband Mark for all your incredible work! Our family apriciate it so much.

Great success on your potato garden!! I finished canning a couple hundred jars of produce from our garden and meat. Hubby and I are ready for winter:)

The last days of green time are always delicious and extra fun, with the anticipation of winter. As always, love your posts and videos. Hugs to the family and community!
Always Love watching ❤
You must be so pleased with your storage room's shelves! Good job!
The window looks fantastic. I guess you feel the same way about the autumn rush like I do before Christmas. Preparing for the summer heat here down under.
Really enjoy ur video
Lovely wreath! We used a “potato fork” to dig potatoes. It’s a pitchfork with wide, flat tines. Watching work on the house warms my heart. Great job, Ivar!
I think it’s fine that you post when you have things to show and say, and however long it takes to accumulate enough for a post makes it feel more genuine. You will be able to do twice as much soon with your new cameraman!
From your friends on the Oregon coast, we like the longer videos. Well done on the window, centered looks very good and it still looks like the original. Keep up the good work! Brian and Cathy
Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski. Oglądam Was.❤
Sometimes we call those "heirloom" potatoes ( or seeds from very old varieties) in English. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video with us !💚
Definitely your episodes are not an issue. They are very lovely and I enjoy watching all the time. God’s blessings 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏don’t overdo too much and enjoy the winter coming!
väl filmad och väl förbryllad Ivar. The window is also well puzzled ! The garden did look very nice and more "settled". / thanks again.
