COVID has proven a hybrid model - virtual and in-person is not only possible, but it also offers flexibility, global outreach, increased collaboration, and engagement. Scrums can be virtual, combined with (in a post-COVID world) face to face collaboration time. Slash the old world travel budget and repurpose some of it for collaboration events.
My only concern with this is, I have well educated friends of all races that are having a hard time finding jobs. Some are out of work anywhere from 5 months to 3 years. What can we do to bridge this gap?
