Why Do You Want To Work For Us?
“I want to work for you because you seem like nice people, I think you pay quite a good salary, and I think I’d be very happy here.”
Do not use that answer when responding to the interview question, why do you want to work for us?

HERE’S WHAT I WILL COVER DURING THIS TUTORIAL TO HELP YOU PASS YOUR INTERVIEW
#1. I will tell you WHY the interviewer is asking you the difficult interview question, why do you want to work for us? If you understand why the question is being asked, it allows you to give the perfect answer.

So, why is the interviewer asking you the question, why do you want to work for us?
To recruit, hire, and then train someone up in a job takes a lot of time, effort, and resources.
The truth is, most people just want a job but that’s not good for the employer because if a candidate isn’t really interested in the organization, they are likely to move on soon after starting work there.
However, if a candidate has valid and genuine reasons for wanting to work for them, the employer is more likely to take them in the role because they will be committed.
Let me now give you 4 great reasons for wanting to work for any company. You can then decide which of the reasons is most applicable to you.
REASON TO WORK FOR A COMPANY #1 is to say you have studied their website and you have been impressed with their track record of success. You feel this is a place you will get to collaborate with other like-minded professionals to achieve great things. Because we spend a lot of time at work, you want that time to be put to good use!
REASON TO WORK FOR A COMPANY #2 is because they are an innovative company and a market leader in their industry. You will be pushed and challenged in your work which means you will get to grow both personally and professionally.
REASON TO WORK FOR A COMPANY #3 is to say that their company values are aligned with your own. The values of a company are basically the standards they operate by. Because if you have high standards too, you are going to be a great fit for their team.
REASON TO WORK FOR A COMPANY #4 is to say that you have first-hand experience of using their products and services. You have been so impressed with the quality they offer, and the service you received from them, that you’ve wanted to work there for some time now, and you’ve been waiting for the right job to be advertised.

Hi Rich, as always thank you for your videos it has helped me out a lot. I've just had a phone interview and the hiring manager asked me what salary are you expecting. I tried to turn it back at her by saying 'what are you guys currently paying Project Managers at your organization' she said I don't have this at the moment but can you give me a range. I felt I had to give a range and I did give her a range. The thing that's bugging me now is I don't want to be underpaid or other Project Managers might be earning more than me. Can you please advise how I can deal with such a question?
