Unreal / cartoonishly high quality playing. My eyes and ears tell me this is real... but I almost t can't believe what I am witnessing... such discipline and focus are so very rare.
There's a level of clarity, control of dynamics, smoothness, and a sense of effortlessness that really stands out from all the different performances of this piece I've seen/heard.
@@miladsar5381 Excuse me, Mr. Expert. Can you point out those "super fast" parts that he butchered, for us uneducated? Because he's less than 0.3 seconds off from the AI playing it?
@@CroaticusMagicus 4:12 to 4:14 for example. There are a few other in Coda, I can mention if you wish, but that's Ok. He is certainly a good technician.
With that incredibly refined, light touch and incredibly melodic phrasing, that singing tone, this interpretation is exactly as I would imagine Chopin playing Liszt. Even his hands look a bit like Frederics. :D Gorgeous.
His accuracy is so good, it's almost inhuman. However, no one is perfect. I'm relatively certain that he missed a few at the end of the chromatic run around 4:11
you must not be listening very carefully because there were a bunch of wrong notes in this performace. not saying he isnt a beast though, i love his playing. reminds me of kissin.
@@benburch I counted *two* wrong notes in the whole performance (4:07 , 4:19). Far from a ''bunch'' I'd say, rather one of the cleanest live La campanella on YT. Quite a beast indeed!
I'll explain the reason why all comments are in Korean for non Korean. There is a famous classic TH-cam channel "Towmoo," and Dmitry Shishkin have been shown in that channel for several videos. That made a lot of Korean fans and it brought Koreans here. This is why most of comments are in Korean

I'm not exaggerating when I say I've never heard this guy miss one single note. And all of his videos are live performances, just insane playing.
His accuracy is so good, it's almost inhuman. However, no one is perfect. I'm relatively certain that he missed a few at the end of the chromatic run around 4:11
you must not be listening very carefully because there were a bunch of wrong notes in this performace. not saying he isnt a beast though, i love his playing. reminds me of kissin.
@@benburch I counted *two* wrong notes in the whole performance (4:07 , 4:19). Far from a ''bunch'' I'd say, rather one of the cleanest live La campanella on YT. Quite a beast indeed!
Clearly one of the most interesting and talented pianists of his generation. Truly beautiful hands with magic performing fingers.

I've listened to so many but this is simply the most brilliantly ringing version. Natural, perfect and still breathtaking.

I'll explain the reason why all comments are in Korean for non Korean.
There is a famous classic TH-cam channel "Towmoo," and Dmitry Shishkin have been shown in that channel for several videos.
That made a lot of Korean fans and it brought Koreans here. This is why most of comments are in Korean
