This is amazing and I am shocked there are so few views. I have begun listening to this many times each day so that I can chant along. The translations are excellent too. 🙏 In 2:21, the chanting is correct but is incorrect in script.
Namaste, TheYogaDen. Glad to know that you find the video useful! However, I am not able to spot the error in the script at 2:21. I've taken most of the Sanskrit texts from the following webpage maintained by Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram. kymyogavaisharadi.org/display/moola/yoga-sutra/devanagari
@@NirvegaVidya Thank you for your kind reply! I am now chanting along with 99% accuracy. I chant along at least two times a day and love it 🙂 Regarding the error, sorry for the confusion, I meant Chapter two, sutra 21 - it showed as a timestamp and linked to the wrong sutra. Correct timestamp is 10:40 Ch2.21 is supposed to be तदर्थ एव दश्यस्यात्मा or in the link you provided it is written तदर्थ एव दृश्यस्याऽऽत्मा In your video, the last few letters are missing but you do chant them. Thanks again for providing this to chant along with - there are many versions, but this resonates with me the most. May I ask, where did you learn to chant the sutras in this way? 🙏
@@TheYogaDen Ah, I understand now. There is indeed an error in the script of verse 2.21. Thank you for pointing it out. Wonderful to know of the progress you've made in chanting the Yoga Sutras! The tune in which I chant is one of the common tunes employed in chanting Sutras. I was introduced to it in the place where I learnt Yoga: S-VYASA University in Bengaluru, India.
@@NirvegaVidya Update - I am now chanting along with excellent pronunciation throughout (as good as can be expected from an Australian 😬). I am so pleased to have learned this and thank you so much for posting this wonderful version. I will continue to practice each day and contemplate the great teaching of Sage Patanjali. Hari Om. 🙏🙏🙏
@@TheYogaDen That is gladdening to hear! Kudos to you for putting in the effort and time to master the pronunciation of the Yoga Sutras. Best wishes! Hari Om.
Patanjali's system is unthinkable without Buddhism. As far as its terminology goes there is much in the Yoga Sutras that reminds us of Buddhist formulations from the Pali Canon and even more so from the Sarvastivada Abhidharma and from Sautrantika" (ed. Karel Werner, *The Yogi and the Mystic*, p. 27).
@@roosje188 Sorry, but I don't understand your comments, why do you say it is "very bad to put publicity on this one" ? And what does "Pub for stronger bones and domestika" (what does 'domestika' mean?) You also say that you "like it so much, but can't listen to it anymore", I really don't understand what you are saying, can you explain please?
The knowledge you are providing through this channel is incredible sir...Thank you for your efforts.🙏
Thank you for this beautiful version. ❤
