Hey man, congrats on your sponsorship with Jackson Guitars! I chose to comment on this video because this series of Jackson you are playing really stands out to me. What model is it? I hear a lot of people saying “Jackson isn’t what is used to be after Fender bought them.” Do I necessarily have to buy a USA made Jackson in order to have a good guitar from them? It’s not that I don’t like them. It’s just that not everyone has the money to buy a guitar in that price range.
Hey :) That was my first Jackson to be honest! A Jackson DKMG Made in Japan.
Unfortunately, after the Tsunami back in the day, this factory doesnt exist any longer as far as I know, and I think because of that they don't offer guitars made in Japan any more...
I really like this guitar, it didn't have a high quality Floyd though and instead of giving it a new one when it needed it, I decided to sell it due to a lack of funds ;)
I think you can check out Jackson's Pro Series Soloist now if you want to have a new one. I am very happy with mine, I have to say, and if I had to choose I would choose the Soloist over this DKMG.
But if you're going for a used one, I think the mid-range ones until 2011 should be Japan-built and I'm sure most of them were killer!

+Ristridi Okay. What about the three tracks in Reaper being recorded at the same time? I don't get it.
It's two tracks, one DI track and one track with distortion. I record the DI track so that I can remodel my sound if I'm not happy with the already recorded one. The first track is the song itself
I personally don't like the guitar sound.
