Normal frets sit perfectly in our 12-tone equal temperament system, where every octave is divided into 12 equally sized tones. In true temperament, however, some tones are more spaced apart than others; meaning that the same type of key (for example major key) sounds a little bit different depending on which root note it has. Nobody writes parts as insane and as controlled as his. If you listen closely, you can’t even fathom what he’s doing. Underrated af

This is like a modern prog version of Jack Dejonette's "Dancing" from the Parallel Realities LP (with Pat Metheny and Herbie Hancock). Totally dig it. . .
I know Henrik is known a lot for his slap stuff, but his solo here is really great... good use of space, very melodic, excellent phrasing and development of ideas, great lines... the whole package. I'd love to hear more of his stuff in this vein.
