Honestly, being so dumb that a fae - whose entire life boils down and sums up to political intrigue and cunning - falls in love with you is a skillset in and of itself. Especially if you make it clear immediately, "oh, yeah, I have iron and salt and ash wood and all that stuff, yeah, I brought it on the date, thought I might need to kill you if things go wrong." Not gonna claim to understand it, but I _am_ gonna watch delightedly.
Haha, that kind of surprised me because there's a big plastic donut in the background, but I think the artistic effect I applied to the photo makes it less obvious. Without the filter, it's very obviously a modern setting. That's good feedback to know. Thank you for the lovely comment!

I’m glad you loved it so much! Maize really is trying her best against Prim’s innocent antics. Fun script fact: The mother did this on purpose. When she realized her kid would rather talk with a cow than learn how to talk with people, she absolutely put her all into making them the most innocent assassin. So that if they did Fuck Up and give their name right away they’d at least be able to fight back
😄 I thought the giant plastic donut and modern metal chairs in the coffee shop gave the time period away! The artistic effect I added to the background must have been too strong, it's very modern-looking without it.

She let the listener know the extent of the circumstances and where they could lead. They are from two different worlds, but I think with a little time their connection could become very sweet. That's gotta be quite the emotional whiplash. If her reactions are extreme, I think it's because the listener's actions are way more extreme than they realize.

Oh yeah totally, I completely get that. I understood this one, but there are SO many scripts I pass up because I can't read between the lines and understand them like other people seem to. And she is harsh! You're not wrong! But I feel bad for her. Cause yeah, she's trying really hard not to let the listener tell her their true name, even though that would be a pretty sweet deal for her, because she's trying to make this a relationship of mutual respect before she has that kind of power over them - and then the listener pulls out a spray bottle of rosehip oil or something? Basically a murder weapon to her, though it's harmless to us and the listener is probably just trying to show off how they can protect themselves after all! And she's trying to explain "no, look, you don't need that, I'm not threatening you, you can leave anytime you want... nono, don't tell me your name, argh!" It's a comedy of errors; it's gonna take a lot of work for these two to understand each other, but it's sweet in the end because they're both willing to do that work.
Imagine a particularly excited dog that you were offered tried to jump on you and when you said “Hey, don’t do that it’s dangerous!” They pulled a gun out
