A surprisingly decent brew indeed and as one not usually a fan of shandies, I can easily throw this down. Nice video my friend and good to see I was not the only one surprised, Cheers Brother! And thanks for the shoutout...#GetYourBeerOn!
For sure, Rod. It goes down way too easy ... and I guess that was their plan. Can't deny that it's solid for what it is. I'll probably buy some more before the end of Summer. Thanks, brother! Cheers!
You nailed it brotha, tastes like those stevia powders you mix into a bottle of water. Still pretty tasty, just kinda overwhelmingly sweet after a few.
I think a lot of these lower ABV fruited macro lagers have good flavor, but definitely end up being too sweet after a few cans, which I think can defeat the purpose of the beer itself. Still fun to try, and they taste pretty good, just not quaffable. Thanks, Kevin! Cheers!
Spot-on, Jay. Great for the BBQ or pool side. For the price point, it's well worth it, IMO. I hope you grab a can and give it a go, dude. I think you'd dig it. Thanks, dude! Cheers!
Thanks, Kurt! As someone who primarily drinks craft beer, I can personally say that I think there's a time and place for almost every single beer. I'm not a snob, and you'll never catch me knocking somebody for drinking whatever they like, and I can honestly say I can appreciate me some Naturdays. Like you said, it's price point is phenomenal, and bringing them to a party/bbq is what they were made for. Cheers!
I've never understood TH-camrs who don't respond to comments, especially if they have a smaller channel like mine. Reviewing beer on TH-cam is an extremely niche market, so not interacting with viewers always baffles me. The whole reason I review beer is to voice my opinion and hear what others have to say. When I say I appreciate the comments, I truly do. Otherwise, this is all pointless, you know? Thanks for swinging by and letting me know what you thought about it, dude!
I had one last Saturday for the first time. It was refreshing. It was a little sweeter than I anticipated but still tasty. Like you said, a crushable BBQ beer for sure. Cheers!
Let me know how it goes, Marcus. For what it is, it's pretty good. I can't deny it's super refreshing during these warmer Summer months, although our temperatures are probably too cold for you, haha. Thanks, buddy! Cheers!
Great beer I'm drinking one right now I think they're great just like you said they're crisp clean refreshing and overall just have a good flavor I like the taste of the strawberry in the lemon kind of combined the bolt them together and in a beer is the best thing but overall I love them and I'll definitely buy them again Budweiser did a real good job by making them Anheuser-Busch did really good
I totally agree, Philip. They did a great job with this one. For the price, availability and taste, it's hard to beat. I dig the strawberry lemon flavor in a lot of beverages, and it works quite well with this one. Thanks for the comment, man! Cheers!
I enjoyed this one. I made fun of it to no end when it first came out and now I’m eating my words. My beer hating wife has even pounded a couple of these too.
Eating crow never tasted so good, LOL! Yeah, I had an open mind going in and it surprised me. It's good for what it is. I'll probably buy some more over the course of Summer. Cheers, Brandon!
Just bought a 6 pack for $3.62 plus tax. I couldn't believe how cheap they are. Opening mine with you.....not much different than a regular natural light 🥺😭 it's no seagrams spiked can for sure! Mine had no flavor at all.....
Sorry to hear that, Billy. I haven't had any since late 2019, so maybe something has happened since then. Mine was pretty tasty for what it is. Thanks for the comment, man. Cheers!
@@averagejoe716 well I just looked and mine expires 3/20/2021. Maybe that's why. After the first they aren't too bad. They get the job done for sure. 😁
Fair enough, Jake. For what it is, I enjoyed it. I do prefer the Genesee Lemon Strawberry Cream Ale to this one, though. That one actually has more of a beer flavor with similar characters. Cheers, dude!
When they use the dreaded "natural flavor" label, it usually means they're using some kind of extract, which means it doesn't change the color. If they would've used real strawberries, I'd imagine the price would've been higher. I can't complain about the beer though, it was tasty for what it was. Cheers, man!
Sorry to hear that, man. They have a new Pineapple Lemonade version that I haven't tried yet, but I'd imagine that weird taste you're getting is probably apparent in that version, too. Cheers!

The Crystal Light reference you make is SPOT ON. I think its a solid beer for what it delivers. Nice review!
Thanks, Eric! For what it is, it's pretty damn tasty. I can't argue that.
Cheers, buddy!
Yes I liked it too, great tailgating beer. Great review, Joe! Cheers!
Yep, yep ... and yep. No argument here, Jeff. Thanks, brother!
Cheers!

I’ve been wanting to try this out myself. At the very least it seems like it would be a good summer cookout drink. Great review Joe. Cheers

Thanks so much for the video. I personally think these are really impressive for the low price and easy to bring to a party.

@@averagejoe716 thanks so much for responding even 3 years later. Major respect.

No doubt, Todd. Definitely sweet, but for what it is, I think it works well. I'll probably buy some more before the end of Summer.
Cheers, brother!
It sounds like something my wife would like (she hates beer). Maybe I'll buy a few cans. Nice review Joe! Cheers!

This intrigues. If I see solo cans, I may just pick one up. Good honest review
Thanks, Sean! Yeah, if you see a can cheap, give it a go. It's pretty good.
Cheers, brother!
Nerdsense, for 3.99 for a six pack of tall boys. It’s worth buying the sixer.
good call!
Thanks, Matthew!
Cheers!

I was surprised, because I expected to dislike this product, but I didn't.
I gave it a fair chance and I'm glad I did because, for what it is, it's pretty good. Can't complain.
Finally got to drinking this one. Smells great, tastes...meh. Glad I tried it, but would rather go with something else regarding cheap party beers.
Fair enough, Jake. For what it is, I enjoyed it. I do prefer the Genesee Lemon Strawberry Cream Ale to this one, though. That one actually has more of a beer flavor with similar characters.

For some reason, I thought it would be pink.

i think it sucks it reminds me of a four loko with weird funky taste
