She sounds SO good and realistic *except* the hook screams, they sound like a different character. They're not bad per say just not fitting. Her injured sounds, tho, make it sound like she's struggling to breathe through the pain and it gives me chills
1. She's certainly one of those characters whose hit/downed noises outweigh the hook scream. It reminds me of a Tarzan yell. I'll go with 2:52 as the best one. 0:42 and 3:58 are painfully solid. Her injured noises are consistent and fairly quiet too. 8/10 2. Also, when she and Carlos came out, their hook screams sounded muted to an extent, like they had Calm Spirit on. Maybe it was just me though.
I noticed the hook screams of many survivors seem underwhelming. Since they're so long I've wondered if it's more demanding on the voice actors and they need to tone it down to preserve their voice. Or maybe they save recording the hook screams til the end of their sessions since it sounds like it destroys their throat lol
I was so disappointed when I heard her hook screams for the first time, her screams and yelps are incredible! Sounds very shrill, just sucks she didn’t deliver well in the hook screams, also keep up the critiques! It’s interesting hearing other peoples thoughts
