Why do they always pre drop shack and never play the window? I've seen that in every video of the tournament. Is it against the rules to play shack window at the start ?
Its safe. No need to greed it. Playing window is always 50/50 mindgames, why risk that if you have all map for you only?
I guess only one who played window shack was Cope or Zubat against Otz, in his cowshed 1v1 call out

Because of dh nerf lithe is used in p much every 1v1 and its better to drop a pallet than use your lithe early. Using lithe right off the bat instead of just dropping shack gives you a lot less value out of your exhaustion.

i got rolled so hard in 1v1's i'm here watching footage of pros to get better 😔
I had a game with a streamer / TH-camr with 70K subs and he tunneled me so there was an unpleasant end game chat. He accepted my 1 vs 1 request and was talking so much crap about me to his 100 ish live viewers and we did exactly this by meeting at shack and running then comparing times. Same map, no perks , only M1s, and no using killer power - he looked so stupid when I got him at 51 secs and I ran him for 1:20 secs. It was so sweet cause his whole stream had people saying I was going to learn that day and I was immediately banned after 😂😂😂.
He tried to play it off saying it don’t matter cause he won the game and not here to try to give me validation. 🫢
He prob took the challenge cause I was playing as default Nea on my Smurf. He looked at my steam and said this kid just got gifted DBd for Christmas and he thinks he’s good. His whole stream was flaming me for having no skin too 😂.

The ping is a problem on comp and yeah pre dropping and saying those players can’t loop because the average player doesn’t understand is completely wrong,comp players have the best loopers

I still don’t get how y’all act like this is the most skilled players, it’s not even close, it’s just a boring strategy, I know a ton of players that can actually loop better, not camp pallets/Predrop. To say this is more skilled is a joke, and the reason people don’t take comp seriously. People choose not to play like this, it’s not that they can’t play like this, and the trapper was horrible. But the egos are probably too much to ever admit it

The objective is to survive as long as possible so thats why their playing the way they are. Im sure their hella good loopers outside of comp
That’s because looping casual players on pubs is easy. They don’t know who’s against them and expect the usual stuff from the survivor. These players know each other and know the tricks of the other side, they know what to expect and some risks aren’t worth taking against a player who knows exactly what your options are and what you want to do.
Also, they have bamboozle which is a perk that easily kills strong loops and forces an early pallet drop even by above avg killers and these are comp level players.
