    If you don't live in an area where you have snow you can get away with not mounting that inside screw on the front mud guards. They will need all the support they can get if they get ice buildup during winter. It's easier to mount the rear mud flaps by removing the tire. It worked for you how you did it. Thank you for the video :)

      Thanks Chris, glad you like! Yes, this one was a bit unusual for me, but my iA ownership video had been getting so many comments lately that I thought a little more about my car might be fun.

    Good video. I wonder why these mud flaps are not factory fitted. The vehicle cost won’t increase much with such a small item. In that case we could get matching coloured ones. I took my previous car to the mechanic n he made new holes with nails n hammer. I really hated that technique. Now I will try to fix myself on new car using your guide.

    I'd sure like to find these OE Mudguards for my 2020 Yaris LE Sedan...
    No longer available.

      Hey TK, I'm guessing you checked the link in my description? I try to keep up with updating the links, but they seem to go out of stock so quickly nowadays...

    I installed similar kinds of mudguards. I was wondering the areas that mudguards are covering could get rusted in the long run because of the water, dust and other small debris. Any idea? Or am I being too skeptical?

      Thanks for your comment, Mio! I'm pretty sure my mudguards only cover plastic areas, so I don't believe rust is a concern.

    If I don't have a rear wheel well on both left and right of my car, should I get them?

    • @DanKidsYouNot
      @DanKidsYouNot  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hm, the wheel wells (behind/around the tires) should come standard on the car. Can't imagine why you'd be missing them.

      @@DanKidsYouNot well I bought it used.

    • @DanKidsYouNot
      @DanKidsYouNot  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah, I see. In that case, I would speak with the dealer that sold it to you and see if they can order the wells. They are important parts to keep water and dirt from kicking up against the underbody of the car.

    Yo real like wasting your time by removing unnecessary panels just to drill a tiny hole on them! Just take a self-tapping screw and mount the flaps, its a 5 minutes job.

    • @DanKidsYouNot
      @DanKidsYouNot  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching, bakani. Just to clarify, yours is not a bad idea, but I didn't have any tools that would fit in the small crevice between the wheel and where I needed to drill the holes. That's why I removed those panels.
