Many of you have asked to see my TurboGrafx-16 collection. I actually created a "special feature" video in late 2009 for Turbo Views: Volume 1 (DVD) that showcased this. Well, for a 2010 NEW YEARS SPECIAL I have uploaded it here for my YT friends. However, to keep it a DVD exclusive, and under the 10-minute TH-cam limit, I have edited 1/2 of the content out (which had a lot more detail, video and information).
I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for the friendship and support, as always. See you all as Turbo Views continues into 2010!
Visit below for information on Volume 1 DVD:

Thanks for watching and happy new year!
I tried not to ask too much for the set. I ended up spending more on higher-quality materials verses keeping the costs down (which....is typical for me, ha ha!).
Thanks for watching the vid and Happy New Year!
Thanks a lot for watching. :)
Thanks for watching!
I hear you. I'm glad that I was able to pickup a huge majority of stuff while I was "growing up" (verses paying for them today). You know? :)
Thanks for watching!
Reviews up until #50 are pretty much spoken for. But, I will definitely put that on the next batch-list. :)
Thanks for watching!!
Touche! :)
Thanks for watching!
Hey, thanks. Most of it started when I was younger so.....it's kind of neat to see all the "crap" I accumulated. Ha ha!
I do have Star Parodier. That's a really fun game. Hope to review it someday. :)
Thanks for watching!
@PIXELKITSCH Thanks my friend. I appreciate it and thanks for watching!
@CapChronic Thanks a lot for watching!
@Rufskin13 I didn't forget to mention it. I never had it. Never needed it as I got the CD-ROM pretty early on. ha ha. :)
Thanks for watching!!!!!
@Maradovitch Thanks a lot. Thanks for watching!
Ha ha. It's okay.....just play it when nobody is around. lol :)
Thanks for watching!
Hey, great. Thanks a lot for watching! :)
I guess the TurboGrafx / Duo system is the one I would consider an actual "collection." You know? Mainly because I have it pretty much complete (at least, in my eyes). I do have quite a number of old consoles and games from when I was growing up, but I wouldn't really consider them a collection. :)
Thanks for watching!
@MrGuitarguy123 Thanks for watching!
You're as cool as it gets man...you're work is top notch and as someone who makes a living in front of a television camera, I've gotta say you you're super smooth.
@Ponimaju Ooh yeah, we'll get to Beyond Shadowgate eventually. Great game. Thanks for watching!
@TehUberCyberBeast It's good stuff. Thanks for watching!
@Gamexrakeem Thanks for watching!
@cookies2000s Hey there! Thanks for watching. I have the entire US lineup so, yes.....I do have Bomberman '93. GREAT game! I never got '94 for the PC-Engine....at least not yet. Ha ha. Thanks for watching!
@TheWCWite Thanks for watching!!
Ha ha! Me too. :)
Thanks for watching!
I can't believe you don't call yourself a collector, you own almost every thing TurboGrafx realated
@GuNStArHeRo212 Thanks bro! Thanks for subscribing and watching!
Ha ha. I had to get rid of a lot of my games when I was younger. But, the Turbo stuff I "hung on to."
I learned to cry......really loud.....
LOL! :)
Happy New Year!
@cucollins12 Thanks for watching!
@sethious1 Thanks for watching!
@futurematt5 Ha ha. Love me some "cute" collections. :)
Thanks for watching
@hyrulesurfer1 Thanks my friend. I'm so glad you enjoy them. It's the reason I enjoy making them so much. Ya' know?
Take care!
I sure you are aware that your collection is dam near priceless, especially the US version of Magical Chase, that alone is worth more that all your systems combined.. Wicked collection you got there!
I really appreciate your TurboGrafx reviews -- they're my favorite retro game reviews on youtube. I've collected a lot of different video games since I was a kid and the TurboGrafx was always one of my favorite systems.
I especially loved those Telenet CD games like Final Zone II, Last Alert and the Valis series. The bad voice acting and dialog was just so fantastic. Man, those games are GOLD. The dialog in FZII was epic, and the voice acting for Mr. Lee in Last Alert was borderline racist! :-O
@bignukkaplaya Thanks my friend. I finished the collection over seven years ago. And thank goodness....some of the prices have gotten a bit nuts. Ya' know? Ha ha
Thanks for watching!
@TravelJoe2010 Ha! Definitely. I would use the coupons to buy all the games which ended up being rare. Hee hee.
Thanks for watching!
@mymovienerd Ha ha. It is totally the weirdest I've ever seen. :)
Thanks for watching!
@Retro1Gamer Eventually I will probably get to them in the Import spin-off. Not sure.
@russell56443 Thanks for watching!
Sweet. Make sure you shoot a vid sometime of your Super NES games! Would love to see it.
@ATARI800XLfan Cool, Thanks for watching!
Hey, you're welcome.
Awesome on the SuperGrafx. I wish I had the games you have (although I think I can guess which one you might be missing.....hee hee).
Take care and thanks as always!
Dude AWSOME COLLECTION. I am current working toward all of the US released Turbo-Grafx games. Super cool to see all that you have for it.
That is alot of gear dude, you are definetly a hardcore collector
Happy New Year to you as well my friend.
That is actually Pinbot (1986 Williams). It was a "project" game I took from my collection and put into my old apartment so I could repair and shop the game. Ha, I never got around to it, though. Sigh! :)
Very impressed. Trying to replenish my old TG16 "collection". Bonk's Revenge was always my favourite game. I atcually enjoyed Yo'Bro and Tale Spin, and was blown away that so many people hated them. I never got past the Amoebas either, but I had fun trying! As for Tale Spin, it was a standard platformer I could beat. Some parts are dumb, sure, but I never got the hate!
Hey, thanks a lot for the compliments. I am so glad you enjoy them. It means a lot.
Love the screen-name. Ha ha. :)
Wow, no kidding? Guess they did a decent job making the battery-backup in it, eh? :)
Thanks and happy new year!
@welseypipes2989 Very cool. Thanks for watching.
Awesome vid as always! That's an impressive collection. Speaking of the Turbo CD, I better dust mine off - hope the saved games are still in memory! The saves were still there after three years of not touching it, but it's been almost 5 years since... ;)
Very good stuff, thanks for giving us a better look at your stuff. I never owned a turbo, but my neighbor did, and i was always jealous.
It doesn't pick up any channels over-the-air anymore. But, with the right connection, it can still be used as a conduit / hookup to make the TurboExpress act as a portable monitor.
:)
INSANE Collection!!!! You forgot to mention Turbo Booster that you had to plug into the back of the TG16 System and connected to an stereo for extra volume. Did you ever had it? I did, and mom my mom loved the music on Legendary Axe 1
Good video, and awesome collection! It reminds me of how my entire paycheck at Burger King in highschool around 2001 (well after PCE was dead!) went to turbo stuff. I had a PCE+CD, TG16 and Duo with arcade card and around 60 games. The turbo was so far ahead of it's time, and really proves that the best systems often aren't the most succesful ones.
Subscribed!
Cool! Thanks for watching!
Good vid, spida.
You and HappyConsoleGamer is starting to make me itch for a TurboGrafx.
And I'm a Segaman, damnit.
Same to you. Hope it's a great year!
Thanks so much. Have a great new year!
@DoctorJ1337 They really did. It's a shame certain circumstances happened keeping the system from being a big-deal. Ya' know? :)
Thanks for watching!
I should buy that DVD;maybe when I get more money.
Wow. You have a very nice collection.
You too my friend. I hope it's a great one!
Very nice collection!! You even have a boxed SuperGrafx!! Crazy! I only have one HUcard game for it (Grandzort), but no console yet :P Happy New Year :)
Awesome collection man! It's cool that you kept the boxes to the stuff you had way back then. It's a shame that some of the PC Engine games never made it over here, there were some true classics that American gamers never got to play. Do you have Star Parodier? One of my favorite games for the PC Engine.
Awesome collection. I used to have TG stuff but for reasons I can't recall they are gone. I plan on regaining a TG-16 and some games. I've watched alot of your review vids and I enjoy them. Very informative and very funny. Like the Pauly Shore moment, "A Yo Bro" (dramatic pause) "poster". LOL
Ah! Ya' beat me to it. :)
Thanks for commenting!
Thanks to showing this my friend! It'll hold me over until I find which box holds Vol.1.....curse you unpacking!
Ha ha. Well, you'll get there my friend. I only have ONE game myself. :)
Happy New Year to you also!
Hey, thanks a lot! Have a happy new year!
Wow, this is THE TG-16 collection. Very nice. I aspire to your greatness. Thanks Spida1 :)
The TG-16 VHS tape I let a friend borrow it and never got it back.
Happy New Year to you as well! Thanks!
Aamzing collection...
I really envy you, thans for sharing.
Happy New Year to you as well my friend. Hey, thanks for keeping an eye out for me.
Talk to ya' soon!
I know Luna Games in San Diego works on vintage systems, might be worth a shot!
Cool video, and I spotted a game I had never heard of before, Beyond Shadowgate. Was disappointed that there wasn't a Turbo Views of it, but I'll check out retrogamer3's review to satisfy my curiosity.
thanks for putting this video up cool collection
@alex054739 I hear you. I am so thankful I got most of this growing up....WAY too expensive for my tastes now. Ha ha.
Thanks for watching!
Very nice and clean collection.
Happy new year dude! It's still awesome seeing all those Turbo goodies there. I'll let you know if I find any of that extra stuff you need.
Sounds great! Would love to see it.
Happy New Year!
Thanks! Happy New Year to you as well!
very awesome man great colection and good luck!
Thanks so much. Have a great one!
Pretty nice collection there!
Fantastic collection Chris! Thanks for sharing it with us.
My wife for Christmas got me a boxed SuperGrafx and i just love it and i have for of the 5 games made for it plus the 1 game for the PCE that takes advantage of the system...Darius Plus.
Take care Chris and am looking forward to more videos from you in the future buddy.
HEY! I'm starting my diet so lay off!
Oh wait, didn't see "collection" when I read it.
:) :) :)
Happy New Year!
i really want to get a collection of my on started, thanks for the inspiration
Hey, great collection man. I'm primarily into collecting for the PC Engine but still have some of my old TG-16 stuff from when I was a kid. A lot of the US stuff is pretty hard to come by today due to low print runs and hardcore fans like yourself. Great video!
Thanks for the subscription. :)
Impressive collection and nice vid.
Happy 2010 to you.
Wow. extremely impressive collection spida1a! I never really got to play TG-16 until the Virtual Console. (and *cough* emulation *cough*) It's has some pretty sweet games. Thanks for showing it all off.
Happy New Year!
Nice collection
Nice collection. I have recently found a TurboGrafx-16 plus the adapter on the back of it for composite video for around 65 dollars. I think it does not come with games though.
Very cool. I hope you like it.
Aw man, I wish all my PC Engine stuff was in one placde so I could video reply! Maybe soon.... anyway, nice to see see a cute collection of TG stuff!
Honestly, no. I got most of them while the TurboGrafx was still in production. But, once it was discontinued...a lot of the places around here who carried them still had them "in stock". So, when they discounted them, I picked a ton up (and also there was ONE buy-sell-trade place who also carried them and they would get them in once in a while. You know? I feel lucky, I only had to scrounge for about a forth of them on Ebay and beyond in around 2000 when I started trying to complete them.
Hey, you're welcome. Go get 'em! :)
that some old games you got
If only the TurboGrafix had a time travel game card so you turn back time and use those coupons lol.
Great vid, really made me wana look into getting one, never really thought bout the system when younger,
Thanks! Happy New Year!
