- In this video I’ll be sharing 7 options that you can use when showing your funds for visa approval process. In the meantime I’ll be talking about the duration and also you can get an idea about how much money you need to show as the proof of fund when you come to Canada as a student alone / with family members.

A lot of Indian TH-camrs are always talking about GIC. Please describe that also. According to them, we need to pay, a 1-year course fee(if it is a 2-year program - usually around 20,000 to 25,000 CAD per year) and 10,000 CAD for a GIC account upfront, which you will get a portion from that monthly when you go there. Like, 2,000 CAD in the first month and 670 CAD per month for another 12 months. Thank you for your support.

@@chaturacbn Wow, thank you for your reply. I thought we also need to have a GIC account. In my perspective, having a GIC is some kind of assurance, like we have a deposit in a bank there. But it would be fine since we can carry some money along with us to cover initial expenses until we find a part-time job. Anyway, we only have to pay first-year course fees then. I have another question when it comes to showing money, is first-year college payment included in that total?
