A really good play on turn one as mage is, mana wyrm, coin, mirror image got a 3/3 2 taunts to protect it

Yes, Mage is OP, and after the latest patch even more so. Starving Buzzard can be killed off with the hero power, and some strong minions are now in Blizzard range, like Shattered Sun Cleric and Argent Commander. Furthermore, some classes got nerfed a lot while Mage didn't get nerfed at all.
it seems blizzard seems to dislike how rock paper scissor constructed was becoming
so they where aiming to change that
they also changed some stuff that rightfully needed a nerf and some stuff that perhaps didnt but they didnt like
this patch to be felt less balance focused and more reduce stuff we dont like
these things where general easy ''fixes'' so i feel they will do a bit more headcracking before they go and change more delicate stuff

MAGE SO BROKEN OP i had 7 minions out of the field i was at 28hp, mage had 4hp all the mage did was ice block (immune) couldn't do anything on her turn she put out a kolbold cast a ton of spells frose me,frostbolt,pyroblast,fireball, ect got me to 8hp then next turn SAME THING she had another immune so again i couldn't do anything when it was her turn BAM fireblast da FUK

Well that is an improbable scenario and almost every class has some broken shit if you give them the perfect scenario...
Either that or the game dragged on a while and the Mage was allowed to gather up all those cards
Like *Warlock* can do 20 damage in one turn with leeroy + power overwhelming (10 damage charge) and then faceless manipulator (copy)
Or *Rouge* can do 26 damage in one turn with Leeroy + 2x shadow step + 2x cold blood
And the Mage could have stalled your minions 4 more turns with 2x blizzard and 2x frost nova given that these had not been used or such

75% chance for bomber to kill a minion? can someone explain? i feel like it's 33% in that situation. .33 repeating of course.
I actually make it only a 60% chance of killing the 1 drop with the mad bomber, consider enemy hero (E), enemy minion (M) and your hero (Y) then I get the following outcomes (not you cannot overkill on a minion, once it's dead, it won't be targeted again):

For those interested, I make it a 23% chance that you kill a 2 health drop, and a 3.7% chance of killing a 3 health drop.
It's ≈70%, you have 1/3 to hit the minion with each bomb. So the first bomb has 1/3 chance, the second (2/3)x(1/3) and the third (2/3)x(2/3)x(1/3). Sum those and you get ≈70%. Easier way is to count the complementary event, which is that no bomb hit the minion. In this case the likelihood is simply (2/3)^3≈30%. 100%-30%=70%. Similarly the likelihood of hitting 2 minions is ≈26%. You got the 3 health drop right.

no, the removal of a buff cannot kill a creature. it would have stayed at 1 health.

What I'd really love to see from u ,now that I have seen how good u are , are some decks with more synergy ,rather than ones with great cards. You saw how good some of that druid's plays were and it was actually rather entertaining than just watching u slaughter newbs . :)

its cute but imo if you wanna go for the decks that are competitive they get old fast
luckygozer Yeah , I guess u could say that. But I also would like to see a different mindset ,for example in the beginning when one of his first cards was Mana Wyrm and he didn't pick it ,because he didn't have enough spells - he obviously didn't, because he had only drawn like 5 cards :D

you cant pick based on synergy in arena
since you have no garantee you will actaully get that synergy
you could litteraly draft a mage deck without any spells
the only way to get synergy in arena is
i picked cards because they where good on their own
now i have the option to pick a card that goes well with that card that is good on their own
or i already have to much x so i will pick y instead
if you do it the other way around you will probably end up with a bad deck
if you want to see him use a bad deck go for the viewer pick decks since they usualy contain some troll cards
I can confirm, trying to do it the other way around has given me consistently poor decks. Picking independently strong cards are the way to go 6+ wins, praying for some funky synergy is the way to go 2-4 wins. That's the way it played out for me time and again.

southsea captain was not be offencive a shity shity pick since you have no other pirates so its basicly a 3/3 for 3 which is bad and spell bender is still good to deflect tspells and steal buffes
