Valid concern. Let me say that you are far more experienced and skilled player than I, and I appreciate the content you stream and upload. In that situation, I would have played the odds. 1 card in hand, and a 10 damage minion on the board. There's no way you could have seen a top deck Leeroy coming, but if you have the opportunity to delay a 10/3, you delay the 10/3.
+onehumblebear though it is acceptable not to expect leeroy, as trump has also admitted later in the video, even a banal fireball would finish the game. so, yep, freezing was clearly the right thing to do.

not even hindsight theres no reason to not freeze it especially since you lose to fireball, a likely card in every mage deck

Got my beta key last night. Went 6/3 last night. You know how your first mage fight went in this run? Well 7 of those 9 games were all mages against my shammy deck which I thought was well above average. I got over 90 hours watched of arena games. This was such a motivation killer.

so many blunders this run. in the final game not freezing the 10 attack minion was terrible. you lose to fireball or in this case leeroy. the 2nd to last mage match you played heavily into flamestrike when it wasnt necessary. there were others too but i didnt stop and write them down
it happend again, i couldve sworn he used the 2 dmg on the big game hunter
