Hi Sarah, I've purchased the ANR at least 10 times. I used to have dry flakey skin but not anymore thanks to it. I'll always wait for a money off or gift with purchase. I'll use Anything else I receive in beauty boxes etc on alternative nights to make it stretch but wouldn't be without it!!!
Hi Sarah my most repurchased serums for my extremely dry, menopausal, rosacea and eczema prone skin are: Aveeno calm and restore serum - a basic soothing serum that works well with other products and never causes my skin any issues (I buy it on offer at 33% off btw) Niod MG - this just works on my skin. It's soothing and moisturising, plus it has antioxidants and works as a bit of an all rounder Niod survival 0 - my favourite antioxidant serum, but I often buy the MG as an all rounder instead. Geek and gorgeous Agame 5 and 10 - my retinaldehyde of choice and I use the 5 on my neck and decide depending on how my skin feels which of the 5 or 10 I use on my face. Azelaic acid 15% on prescription - it on my repeat prescription list and I'm never without it. I did use the Apad for a while before getting this from my Doctor. dear, Klairs fundamental watery oil drop serum - this works well on my skin as both a hydrating serum and a peptide fix. I've repurchased it a few times. the cosrx snail 96 essence I used for three years until they changed the formulation at the start of this year. It's unusable for me now as it burns and stings - a huge disappointment for me. the Isntree tw bifida serum was a favourite and repurchased numerous times until they reformulated it and it just isn't what it was - another major disappointment for me. There you go my list. Best wishes.
You've got most of my favorites on that list too! I'm super bummed to hear about the snail essence. I wish brands wouldn't change formulas as often as they do, it gets frustrating to find a Holy Grail and then have to find something else to replace it.
Love your selection, thank you for sharing! I personally cannot break away from the Iunik Vitamin Propolis Synergy Serum. It just has everything all wrapped up...anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, nutrition and everything. My skin just heals better and glows with this one!,
Loving this series! My repurchased serums are all the ones from Timeless, Prosacea, CosRx snail, Differin Scar Resurfacing gel (does that count? I use it like a serum), and Alpha AHA. I have so many others to try before I can call them holy grails like the Prosacea and Differin scar gel are.
Hello! Could you explain how to build the routine? Can you put multiple serums together? Do you switch between them? How to know which ingredients to use? Other benefits we should try to get going now for good skin? I have dry red skin 24/7. I don't have a routine bec my skin doesn't like tons of products but that's probably due to not knowing which can go together!
Serums I keep buying are Benton Moist and mild serum, excellent for hydration, soothing and healing in daytime. NIOD Suvival 0 for daytime instead of vitamin C. It's perfection in a jar. NIOD Modulating Glucosides is my go to in the evenings, especially while using acids.
I’m kinda freaking out bc I’m so new and you have so much good info. The idea of starting somewhere and identifying if it’s good enough for my skin or if there’s something better overwhelms me. My main issue is redness with some age spots and wrinkles. I’m 42 this month. Best guess for first purchase? Thank you :)
My must re-purchased would be TO buffet, G&G aPAD, G&G aGame retinal, G&G Stress Less, Mad Hippie vit C serum, Purito Centella unscented. About that Estee Lauder expensive serum - I am at the moment trying out Secret key, Multi Cell Night repair Ampoule. I read that it is considered similar to the Estee Lauder one. I do not know if that is true, but the Secret Key one actually feels really nice, in texture and leaves skin so soft. It does have fragrance, but I do not mind.
The Secret Key Ampoule is a very good dupe for the Estee lauder ANR serum. The ingredients are quite similar but I haven't tried it yet because of the fragrance. Is the scent strong? Might have to finally give that one a try!
@@NOBSBeauty It is pleasant to my nose, a soft scent. I do not like strong scents in skin care either. Your video about one product recently made me laugh, when you had to wash hands multiple times :D But FYI, my sense of smell is different after the Covid (delta).. So I cannot say for sure, how it smells for a "normal" nose. I need to ask my husband to sniff it :D
You should try the Vegreen cica serum, it is soothing, moisturising but not heavy and not too many ingredients, plus no fragrance or essential oil. I'm a fan :)
Paula's 4% BHA is my holy grail!! So curious to try the ANR. I know I'm the odd man out because EVERYBODY loves it, but I tried so hard to like the Stratia Liquid Gold (literally bought multiple bottles and tried using it in different ways, layered with different products and by itself, etc.), but I could never get it to not pill on me.
Ooh I can't wait to try the Hyggee repair serum. Love ginseng in skincare. So far Ive tried the I'm From ginseng serum and Beauty of Josean ginseng essence - really enjoyed them both. Estée Lauder ANR is really one of the best in the game, it has the perfect serum texture IMO.
If you have to pick only two serums which from the list below would you choose: Cosrx full fit propolis Isntree green tea serum Hyggee natural repair Purito centella unscented RNW plus ceramide
I'm planning to get the RNW serum..Kelly Driscoll also raves about it. Same as the question below....between the Face Theory Azealaic and the Apad Azelaic serum, which do you think may be more effective?....if that's a fair question. My skin is pretty tough and I already used the faded on occasion. Great video, I'm gonna bookmark this one.
GREAT question actually! So the Facetheory is going to be stronger than the Geek and Gorgeous. Geek and Gorgeous uses an azelaic acid derivative called Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (I'll link to a page with more info on it below) which is going to be a bit more friendly for sensitive skin or newbies to azelaic acid. I started acclimating my skin to azelaic acid by using the APad Serum for several months, then I switched to the Facetheory after that. Seemed to work well for me. If your skin isn't super sensitive you can probably just go straight to the Facetheory Serum, just be sure to start out slow, use it a couple times a week and work your way up to nightly or every other night use. Here's the link: incidecoder.com/ingredients/potassium-azeloyl-diglycinate
That DermaE Peptide one I have tried but didn't like it at all. I use their Vitamin C Concentrate and my skin loves that. I have also been using Boscia's vegan collagen serum. And I always have a bottle of the Purito Unscented Serum on my shelf.
i hope you answer me new subscriber here what is the best serum to use I'm 60 years old I have allergies I have darkspot s I want my face whitens because it's turned black, thank you.
I loved this video and now want to incorporate some of these into my routine! If I quit my Timeless Coenzyme Q10 serum, which of the serums you mentioned would be a great replacement? Thanks
I'm Really enjoying this series as you have done all the work for us as always! I'm intrigued by the Regimen Labs Level Serum. I'm currently using Malove's new Fade Away Brightening serum. Have you had a chance to check that one out?
Are u gonna try the cosrx retinol oil? I'm kinda interested they have a cream tube version too I noticed. U don't know how bad I want to really get into rets or Trent but I just can't keep up with it cause my skin always seems to freak then I freak cause I do t want my skin to look like crap considering I do so much to try to make it look good..lol I did the whole Trent thing I could do 1 time a week with out my skin freaking totally out.
Maelove has some great Serums, I need to review them more! Their Glow Maker Vitamin C is great. I've also been testing their Nia Serum which is so light and hydrating. Also enjoyed their Moonglow Retinal serum, it does have a light scent but not overpowering or lingering.
Just watched a video from a U.S. Dermatologist, a routine under $50, very basic, using mainly Cetaphil, Cerave and Aquaphor, great choices. But what I noticed from the questions and statements in the comments were How many people Still don't know what great choices are in K Beauty. They really reply mentioning only the American Brands. I think some Derms maybe don't introduce people to K-beauty for some reason.
You are right, you could really easily make a really great and advanced skincare routine with just kbeauty goodies, so many affordable options, even better when they're having a good sale!
@@NOBSBeauty I'm not sure if this is related, but I told my derm that I was gonna fill my next prescription for tazorac after I run out of this current tube at AllDayChemist, an Indian mail-order pharmacy that ships worldwide and very affordably. The prices are way cheaper than American pharmacy prices, and with inflation I've officially been priced out of paying that much for a 15g tube. While she gave me the paper script, which I have to take a picture of and upload to order, she gave me this big cautionary statement about how oversees pharmacies are not FDA-approved and I could be at risk of harm or counterfeit items. Mind you, if you look on Skincare Reddit, there's a lot of people who use them from the USA and they're very reputable. I have to wonder if it's a little bit of xenophobia, bias, and American exceptionalism that is subtly--and sometimes not so subtly--embedded into American medicine. For example, many healthcare providers continue to say that we have the best healthcare in the world, even though countless peer-reviewed studies have shown that is not the case.
I have the neogen mist and I didn't think it had fragrance. It doesn't smell like anything to me. I'm really sensitive to fragrance usually. I just bought the face theory azelaic acid but I wish I got the g&g.
Sarah a live with no Sarah in the chat 😥 talking about serums , u know I love me some serums . I just got the neogen and yep my essense was not in their , loving the noid survival still waiting for the modulating gluecose serum but u know I repurchase the RNW ceramide plus serum the Dermtlgy needle less serum the Dear klairs fudemental oil drop ordinary pynognal the aregline serum and of course some others we could be here all day..lol along with toner catagorie. * Lancome genific omg I bought that expensive stuff so many times till I found k beauty and tried to go essential oil frangerance free. I did get the hygee natural repair the huge one 4.2 once or something like that I am so excited I hope I love it.
Recently I fell in love with the Beauty of Joseon calming serum. My skin is pretty sensitive, oily, and I have mild rosacea and am acne prone. It actually really helped with redness for me, my skin looks so neutral when I wake up which is a first. Their spf is also great. I got the cleansing balm too but I haven’t tried that one yet. K beauty is often a miss for me but so far BoJ has really impressed me!
I do love the Azclear one- it's become my favorite because of it's hydrating texture, plus the extra amount of azlaic acid is great as well. Still love the one from Facetheory as well as the new one from Peach Slices- those are my current backup faves or good on days when my skin is more sensitive.
I would love a review of Thayers Milky Toner. New product that came out like in July or August & only available at Target right now. It says it's a toner but I use it like a serum & put a few drops in my hand & then pat on my face. It's around $15.00 for 12 fl oz so it's super affordable. I've been using it for over a month now & I like it better than the pricey hydration serums in the tiny bottles. I haven't seen many people talk about it though.
That's quite a list! I finally got around to trying the RNW Ceramide Plus this summer, and I'm in love! Will definitely be repurchasing. My other serum re-buys: Ghost Democracy Light Bulb serum, NIOD Copper Peptides (getting bougie-er as I get older) and Manyo Bifida Ampoule.
I think Facetheory recently had a sale, maybe they are trying to stock back up? I've heard you can also order from Facetheory's UK site and ship to the US.
The NIOD dark spot pigment serum is a TOP favorite but EXPENSIVE so I don't get to repurchase as much as I'd like. Stratia liquid Gold. Krave barrier serum!!!
I want antioxidants and peptides in my morning routine. Is it efficacious to use Niod Survival 0 and Hylamide SubQ skin right after? I’ve been using them one right after the other and just recently saw another content creator saying they shouldn’t be applied together. I value your knowledge about ingredients and would like to know whether I should alternate the two products or am I fine using them in the same routine. Thanks 😊
Love both of those serums! You can't go wrong either. I think if you asked about using those in the same routine everyone would probably give you a different answer so it's mostly up to you and how you feel they work for you. Of your skin tolerates using both together then I think if I were you I'd keep doing that. They are probably concerned about the salicylic acid in the subq skin and that might contradict some of the ingredients in the survival. You certainly could switch to using the survival in the day time and the subq skin at night, but if it's working well now I'd probably just stick with that unless you want a change.
@@NOBSBeauty Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. I appreciate your helpful response and will continue to use them both in the same routine😊🙏🏼
Hey Sarah, I've been using Purito serum for a while and been really enjoying it but now I'm thinking about buying other serum instead and as my skin is very prone to irritation, I thought about trying Paula's Choice calm serum. I saw you used it before so how would you compare it to Purito serum? Is it worse? I will be very grateful for your help :) btw, I really love your channel!
The Paula's Choice Calm Serum is wonderful! It's a little pricey, but otherwise it's a great hydrating and soothing Serum. Another one to consider us the RNW Der Ceramide Concentrate+. It shares a lot of similarities to the Calm Serum but also contains a lot of hydrating ingredients as well. Thought it might be nice to have two options to compare. If your skin is on the dry side I'd probably go with the RNW, but if your skin is on the oily side, the Calm one would be the way to go. I should do a video on my favorite calming serums.
My most repurchased (3+ times) are Timeless VitC, Purito Unscented Centella, Ordinary Argireline, and Awake Glow Pill. I should probably include Timeless CoQ10 since I picked up the 4 ounce bottle twice. If Tret counts as a serum, that too!
Have you tried the Bubble day dream serum? I would love to know your thoughts as it is more affordable than the regimen lab. Thank you for all these good recommendations!!💙
If you haven't tried many other brightening products then I think the bubble serum is a good place to start,. I've been testing it out and will definitely review it asap. Contains tranexamic acid, Kojic acid, vitamin c and niacinamide to help fight pigmentation. There Level contains about 8 or 9 other brightening ingredients so if you have tried a lot of other brightening products the Level Serum is a good place to go for additional help with stubborn pigmentation.
I really want to get the Peach & Lily Glsss Skin Serum but does anyone know if ULTA has it on sale for Black Friday or Cyber Monday?? Thank you in advance
I just got the big bottle of the hygee natural repair serum the neogen ferment serum ,the noid survival, noid modulating gluecose serum,JJ labs copper peptides serum with greentea it's not blue though for some reason it's like a clear thicker gel type texture I was expecting it to be blue because of copper peptides ,the Make Prem forever young biom ampoule today the iope condition essence is suppose to be here and the BOJ gingsing retinol eye cream and a few things. I have repurchased the RNW ceramide plus serum over and over again the purito centella unscented serum, Dermtlgy needle less serum the inkey q10 a few times the PL glass skin omg I use to buy lancom genific serum over and over back in the day I also repurchase the Dear klairs fudemental serum and the midnight one I'm sure I have more than I have repurchased
Ooooh I LOVE all the goodies you got- you seriously have to think about starting a blog or a vlog sometime. If you ever think about it let me know. JJ Labs has some good stuff and I love that they are all made pretty fresh. I wonder why it isn't a more blue shade though. I'll have to do some research on that- I wonder about the concentration or perhaps the freshness of it is why it isn't tinted. I'm going to see what I can find out on that.
@@NOBSBeauty awh thank u. Yes I'm confused why it's not blue 🔵 I was totally expecting blue ingredients says : copper peptide, allantois, co q10, aloe vera , green tea, enchinancea and HA I'm guessing the gel texture comes from aloe but still why not blue I thought all copper peptide serums were blue from the copper ingredients atleast a tint of blue but this is completely clear. It also says it's made to order so it's fresh supposedly O I just found it also has Optiohen potassium sorbate and distilled water at the end of the ingredients list , I saw that on the other side on the front it says what I wrote already on the back it has all of that but HA is infront of copper peptides then the rest as ordered .
Literally just finished my current bottle this morning, tonight I'll open up the big bottle I finally found in stock because I always find myself reaching for it!
Of course the first thing I did was search for your review vid to find out what score you gave it and it got a 10/10 which automatically leads to me wanting to buy it.. You never disappoint! 🥳
I like the Stratia reverse but man it is so sticky I cannot use it by itself I have to Mix it with something even though I’m putting moisturizer over it.
@@NOBSBeauty not sure if Purito Korea is a legit seller ?? Some products say Purito Korea as seller and some don't. But when I clicked on Purito Korea then clicked on more products from them the Purito Centella Unscented Serum was there.
I keep buying the Glossier Super Pure serum. I use it as an acne treatment, and my skin responds to it much better than SA, BPO, or retinoids. Plus it’s HA-free, which is important for me. I also buy the Krave Great Barrier Relief serum for bug bites. We have these pesky mosquitoes where I live that leave a red mark for 8-9 months! GBR makes them fade to almost nothing in less than a week.
I don’t know how Estée Lauder doesn’t have fragrance, all I smelled was old woman’s perfume in it and it’s so tacky and hated the applicator. They should do serums in pumps.
@@NOBSBeauty yes, for sure, synchronise which they had few version over the years. I hated the eye cream of same range, got my money back. I used Estée Lauder day cream moisturiser which has cucumber smell for years and years, loved it, but can’t stand any fragrance anymore.
I am so mad at FAB they changed almost all their products and didn't tell anyone they use to be my favorite brand then they pulled that shit ontop of selling in main land china u know ware I say GAB can go so upset with them how u can go to fav to number 1 enemy is just baffling.
This. Also, when they had started reformulating, a lot of their products ended up at places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls so they could clear their stock. I stocked up and haven’t purchased any of the reformulated crap.
I agree with many of these, but I’m also hooked on Timeless Q10 too!

K beauty is often a miss for me but so far BoJ has really impressed me!
gurrrrlll that BOJ cleansing balm is the truth!!!
I do feel envious when people mention Azelaic Acid. I unfortunately am allergic to it. Not irritated or sensitive. Allergic!
How would you rank your azelaic acid serum‘s, is the azclear product your favorite one now?
Ohh I'll have to check it out- sounds interesting and I like the idea of a hydrating toner!
RNW has such a nice Formula in the Serum, and pretty affordable too. Love the vitamin c Serum from ghost Democracy as well.
I absolutely love the Facetheory Azelaic serum!!! Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it lately!!!
Ohh, I've got that one, I'm going to have to pull it out of the cabinet tonight and start giving it a good try!
@@NOBSBeauty Thanks for your help! My skin is a bit oily so I may try Paula's Choice :)
But why must I see this when I am on a no buy??? I'm so curious about that Hyggee serum
I couldn't get my skin to stop flaking until I stopped using the Timeless 20% vitamin C..
How do you like the CoQ10? I have been eyeing that for a while...
Sarah.... you just convinced me to buy The Regimen Lab Level Serum. I know you did not ask but, I will tell you how it went for me. ;-)
Oh yes, keep me posted on it, 🤞 Probably my #1 favorite for hyperpigmentation and brightening dark spots.
@@NOBSBeauty ;-)
Yes I'm confused why it's not blue 🔵 I was totally expecting blue ingredients says : copper peptide, allantois, co q10, aloe vera , green tea, enchinancea and HA
I'm guessing the gel texture comes from aloe but still why not blue I thought all copper peptide serums were blue from the copper ingredients atleast a tint of blue but this is completely clear.
It also says it's made to order so it's fresh supposedly
O I just found it also has Optiohen potassium sorbate and distilled water at the end of the ingredients list , I saw that on the other side on the front it says what I wrote already on the back it has all of that but HA is infront of copper peptides then the rest as ordered .
Just put the Hyggee Serum in my 🛒.. Can't wait to try it 🥳
Literally just finished my current bottle this morning, tonight I'll open up the big bottle I finally found in stock because I always find myself reaching for it!
Of course the first thing I did was search for your review vid to find out what score you gave it and it got a 10/10 which automatically leads to me wanting to buy it.. You never disappoint! 🥳
I love G&G, but I get hit with a decent sized charge because it comes from overseas.... So, I don't buy it any longer.
Hi! Please consider putting time stamps in your videos! Thanks!
Thank you
I like the Stratia reverse but man it is so sticky I cannot use it by itself I have to Mix it with something even though I’m putting moisturizer over it.
GREAT VIDEO! I share your enthusiasm for The Ordinary products. TTYL :)
Oh thank you so much 😘
Does anyone know if Amazon is a authorized dealer for Purito Centella Unscented Serum ? Thank you in advance ☺️
I was unable to find an authorized dealer for Purito on amazon, unfortunately- just second hand sellers :-/
I've briefly tried that Serum from glossier and I really liked it, especially how gentle it was, and no HA is always a plus in my opinion.
The estee lauder serum left my skin dry.
I feel like the Geek and Gorgeous salicylic acid serum is awful for my skin. It pilled sooo bad. So sad
I don’t know how Estée Lauder doesn’t have fragrance, all I smelled was old woman’s perfume in it and it’s so tacky and hated the applicator. They should do serums in pumps.
It shouldn't have any scent to it, are you sure it's the same one? I know they have a few similar serums but the ANR shouldn't have any smell, here's the ingredients:
Water\Aqua\Eau, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Peg-8, Propanediol, Bis-Peg-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Methyl Gluceth-20, Glycereth-26, Peg-75, Butylene Glycol, Adansonia Digitata Seed Extract, Tripeptide-32, Sodium Hyaluronate, Yeast Extract\Faex\Extrait De Levure, Lactobacillus Ferment, Cola Acuminata (Kola) Seed Extract, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Hydrolyzed Algin, Pantethine, Caffeine, Lecithin, Sodium Rna, Bisabolol, Squalane, Glycerin, Oleth-3 Phosphate, Caprylyl Glycol, Oleth-3, Oleth-5, Choleth-24, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Jojoba Wax Peg-120 Esters, Ceteth-24, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium Edta, Bht, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol, Red 4 (CI 14700), Yellow 5 (CI 19140).
@@NOBSBeauty yes, for sure, synchronise which they had few version over the years. I hated the eye cream of same range, got my money back. I switched to lancome Genefique, too tacky. now on Clinique which the best serum. I used Estée Lauder day cream moisturiser which has cucumber smell for years and years, loved it, but can’t stand any fragrance anymore.
I expected to see Clarins Double Serum... 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😆😆😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😃😃🤣🤣 You know me too well!

I also picked up a ton at Marshalls (along with some Dr jart goodies)!
🤗🙏👏
