CaptainDave I will when I will have a job,I am 16 but I will start working next year probably and I will buy this one because it will become even cheaper and the note 4 because the note 5 will not even have expandability plus the fact that I don't like a round phone I prefer the businessy roundless look with round and chamfered edges and the Note is great for that wonderfull pen and the android entertainment experience while I prefer the Passport for it's nice keyboard and the BB10 experience,it really feels better than Ios,but I would like to be able to emulate Ios apps in the future on the Note 4.

Too Soon Junior my typical battery life on the original passport lasted me from 6 am in the morning to 3 am the next day. Probably even more on a good day. And that was with semi heavy use. Lower the screen display and you get way more...

I had the first gen black Blackberry Passport and i loved it! Sadly i had to part ways with it. I miss it so much, the level on functionality it offers is amazing, it's only phone that would let you keep TH-cam running in the background while you do other things. It offered true multi-tasking! And the battery life was insane! I would get a full day with moderate to heavy use. I'm definitely getting this Silver Edition it fixed all the design flaws that the first gen had. I'm excited!

Blackberry will always be, to me, the best smart phone. I miss the actual keyboard on cell phones! I used to have the BB Pearl and BB Curve. I loved them! It was so easy to type with them. Now you have to use an onscreen keyboard which you almost always have to look at in order to use. Plus, my BB phones were indestructible. I can't tell you how many times I dropped them. The fact that "smart" phones nowadays start acting up after only a year should be taken into consideration. Heck, even after half a year your "smart" phone can seem strangely sluggish. I remember when you could have a 5 year old phone that went through so much physical abuse but it still worked almost the same as the day you bought it.

I still use a Blackberry Passport Silver Edition as my main phone for calls, email and web browsing and a Samsung Note 4 only for web and apps ...got to say the Passport gets the attention wherever I go because it's such a well made device with a premium finish. The Passport it's not about the apps ...it's about the nice feeling you get while using this device for basic tasks.

If you want to mimic the iPhone corners and make them rounded then fine I'm totally okay with that. but curving the lower corners while keeping the upper ones angular is just cobble work to me. that's plain stupid and totally inconsistent, besides the fact it doesn't look like a passport anymore. I have to say that speakers have undergone a major improvement and they look really nice now. more sleek and Porsche-like design and they kinda invoke the German Bauhaus school of the 1930s. As to corners I'm sorry folks but this is TOTALLY f##$ed up
why won't BlackBerry look at a the latest Samsung phablet and exceed those specs line by line. Example: 5.9 inch screen. 49mp camera and 7 gigs ram, 7000mah battery, 16 mp front camera, 4.99K ultra reslution screen and throw in a fucking smoke detector sensor or pregnancy test sensor. People generally care about specs not tradition. who cares about BlackBerry traditional business selling point

I returned it....the phone one day shut down and wouldn't turn back on ....Blackberry addressed my issue but I eventually decided to return it.....waiting for their next keyboard phone to come out. All in all it was a great phone up until l had the issue

I've used all the recently released blackberry smartphones Inc the PRIV, keyone silver,black,bronze and of course the key 2 silver and currently the key2 all black which is Hella sexy. But I always wanted to hold a passport of which chances are pretty slim since key2 gives me all the apps I need and bb10 nearly dead with apps continuously shutting down. I hope key 3 would be the size size as key2 but as wide as the passport with a 3 row keyboard, would buy that as soon as it gets released in states.

I bought this phone a month ago and I think this is the best phone i have ever had(and i had galaxy s6 and iphone 6s). Wide and square screen is what other smartphones are lacking, since i bought this phone i stopped using my ipad mini and i put ion for sale coz i dont need it. Battery life blows competition out of water. This is the phone you can use it to do real things, typing is easier and faster than touchscreen, easier to hold in hand than galazy and iphone which allways feels like its gonna slip out and drop. beautiful design and premium quality built. What really fascinates me is the keyboard. Not only whether you need it or not to be there as stated by Steve Jobs but also it can be used as a scroll bar. It uses a sensor in the keyboard by just draggin' your finger around it without clicking any key. Amazing.

This Should have been the phone to save them . Release the first version for Android in a bunch of silly colors, and then the silver with BB10 . If it could run a triple boot with linux, It would be the most amazing device on the planet. with ability to run any App or iOS, Android OS, BB10 then read any USB drives or SD Card, its at least in the top 100. I think I should buy a second one for safe keeping
I like this phone. The keyboard sucks even if it was improved. I've had my Q20 (Classic) for about 11 months now and I'm still in love with it. It's the best phone out there. The keyboard is the best part. The specs could of been picked up a little more but they do fine. Only problem I have is with the Battery and OS. App choices and stuff like that.
The top left of keyboard spells QWERTY. :) Awesome phone by the way. I have one myself. Would also be nice for a BlackBerry Passport SE with no keyboard.
I have the black one, if I had to rate it I'd give it a 6.5/10, I hate to say this but the iPhone is actually much better in terms of utility, performance and battery efficiency, this Black Berry's battery is really annoying, it takes a long time to charge and has terrible standby life, also many popular apps like instagram aren't available on it, I end up carrying my old iPhone and the Black Berry with me all the time, there's honestly many things that the iPhone offers that the BB doesn't, but not the opposite. Now I'm just patiently waiting for the new iPhone to come out to switch back.

I tried the first version, but I rely on the Bank of America app a lot. As a small business owner who deposits checks using Bank of America's Check Deposit feature via the app, I can say this phone is a fail in my case. Every phone out there has this feature except for the Passport. If I could make deposits on this bad boy, I'd buy it in a heart beat.

ive used many mobile devices, my white blackberry passport is hands down the best phone i have ever owned in my life. bbos10 is also an outstanding and solid mobile os, if they were to simply focuse on ONE device (like apple) i don't see how they could fail.
There's a lot of things that should've been left behind and Blackberry is one of them. I would never waste my money creating something that's not going to be a profit for me, literally though Blackberry? JosephKing75 CBP you'll never be able to emulate iOS apps on an android. a cheap iTouch or used iPad will do the job if thats what you want.

Arijus Turskis honestly it is. I switched from bb to android s7 edge.. Battery sucks balls. And i see iphone people charging all day. Typing is horrible especially when it guesses what you say.

Bb10 makes all os look outdate with true multitasking and u can download google play store...batter lasts 3 days..speakers are the best...it has blend, hub and call quility with 4 mics no other phone can match

I've used all the recently released blackberry smartphones Inc the PRIV, keyone silver,black,bronze and of course the key 2 silver and currently the key2 all black which is Hella sexy. But I always wanted to hold a passport of which chances are pretty slim since key2 gives me all the apps I need and bb10 nearly dead with apps continuously shutting down. I hope key 3 would be the size size as key2 but as wide as the passport with a 3 row keyboard, would buy that as soon as it gets released in states.
I honestly would get this if I had a lot of emails and people to respond to. But I already have an iPhone 6 Plus. I don't even play games on it or anything.
I bought this phone a month ago and I think this is the best phone i have ever had(and i had galaxy s6 and iphone 6s).
Wide and square screen is what other smartphones are lacking, since i bought this phone i stopped using my ipad mini and i put ion for sale coz i dont need it. Battery life blows competition out of water.
This is the phone you can use it to do real things, typing is easier and faster than touchscreen, easier to hold in hand than galazy and iphone which allways feels like its gonna slip out and drop. beautiful design and premium quality built.
If Galaxies and Iphones are smartphone then BB passport silver is a mini-computer in comparison.

What really fascinates me is the keyboard. Not only whether you need it or not to be there as stated by Steve Jobs but also it can be used as a scroll bar. It uses a sensor in the keyboard by just draggin' your finger around it without clicking any key. Amazing.
I bet BlackBerry could make Apple become obsolete if they really tried.

This Should have been the phone to save them . Release the first version for Android in a bunch of silly colors, and then the silver with BB10 . If it could run a triple boot with linux, It would be the most amazing device on the planet. with ability to run any App or iOS, Android OS, BB10 then read any USB drives or SD Card, its at least in the top 100.

I like this phone. The keyboard sucks even if it was improved. I've had my Q20 (Classic) for about 11 months now and I'm still in love with it. It's the best phone out there. The keyboard is the best part. The specs could of been picked up a little more but they do fine. Only problem I have is with the Battery and OS. App choices and stuff like that.
Are Blackberry still update their software? I mean Blackberry OS 10. Because i really want to buy Passposrt, but worry about the OS. Thank you.

I have the black one, if I had to rate it I'd give it a 6.5/10, I hate to say this but the iPhone is actually much better in terms of utility, performance and battery efficiency, this Black Berry's battery is really annoying, it takes a long time to charge and has terrible standby life, also many popular apps like instagram aren't available on it, I end up carrying my old iPhone and the Black Berry with me all the time, there's honestly many things that the iPhone offers that the BB doesn't, but not the opposite. Now I'm just patiently waiting for the new iPhone to come out to switch back.

I tried the first version, but I rely on the Bank of America app a lot. As a small business owner who deposits checks using Bank of America's Check Deposit feature via the app, I can say this phone is a fail in my case. Every phone out there has this feature except for the Passport. If I could make deposits on this bad boy, I'd buy it in a heart beat.

ive used many mobile devices, my white blackberry passport is hands down the best phone i have ever owned in my life. bbos10 is also an outstanding and solid mobile os, if they were to simply focuse on ONE device (like apple) i don't see how they could fail.
There's a lot of things that should've been left behind and Blackberry is one of them. I would never waste my money creating something that's not going to be a profit for me, literally though Blackberry? I would take the money that I've earned and find a better way to profit off of it and creating an new a Blackberry was a dumb idea.

If it ran android. I would probably buy this. It looks just so cool and sleek. Maybe weird in your hands but I can see people asking me what phone it is whenever I'm using it.
