Adrenal fatigue can cause severe sleep disruption, chronic pain, fatigue, exercise intolerance, water retention, weight gain, central adiposity, anxiety, heart palpitations, and much more.
In this video, Dr. Osborne discusses the nutrition behind adrenal fatigue. What vitamins and minerals are necessary for the adrenal glands to produce cortisol, adrenaline, mineral corticoids, and much more.
He discusses lifestyle tips to help restore adrenal function naturally, including key strategies for sleep, sunshine, exercise, diet change, and emotional stress management.

What helps me most is to STOP thinking about the past which cause depression and the future which causes anxiety. Be aware of your thoughts. Live in the now relax and be thankful for the present 🎁 😀

I feel like crying in gratefulness while writing this. I was raised in a stressful environment and i was soo tired mentally and physically. I prayed to God to help me with one of my problems (i didn't know all were connected) and my Lord, my God knew the whole picture and not only helped me with one issues but in His mercy went to the root of the problem and helped me in ways i didn't expect. Unknowingly i was treating my health problems and this video is just a confirmation i did right. Prays the Lord and He's name, Jesus Christ, forever and ever! Without Him i am lost and i was lost heading to my destruction. I'm not a religious nutcase nor a recruiter of a cult, i'm just a grateful soul.

I am in a desperate situation as well. I can't get any straight answers... only your tests are all good you're fine, just eat right and hydrate and get exercise. I am a 34 year old male with a wife and 2 young girls and i have lost a significant amount of muscle in a little over one month now and physical strength and energy seems to be gone. I can't seem to eat enough no matter what to get any energy my bowel movements have completely changed from solid regularly 2-3 times everyday my whole life to one large soft movement every 24-28ish hours. I am very concerned and nobody ( so called doctors ) is taking it seriously and saying you just need to start living and accept you're okay. Well, that is what I have been trying to do since before I was having muscle or started loosing muscle etc.
I am praying to the Lord Jesus everyday and every morning all throughout the day I pray. I just pray I am being helped and just do not know it yet.
I am consulting with a Gastroenterologist on 2-16-24 and I hope they can shed some light on what is up... because I need some serious help here. I believe i am malabsorbting or malnutrition to some extent or something.
I am trying to have 100% faith in the Lord that I am being heard and will be okay eventually and that this is all to make me wake-up and be a better man, a righteous man, father, and husband for the Lord and my whole family.
I pray I too will be answered, healed and get another chance at this life on earth... another shot to be the great soul, the great person who followed his heart in what I knew God was wanting and okay with and what he isn't. To be not only the Man I once was but an even better even more God fearing person than I've ever been.
I am emotionally typing this and trying not to break down again. I thought I would share this with you as I found your post of your story encouraging and reinforcement in my beliefs and my faith and that I will be okay. With my having faith in Jesus and knowing him, that he lived was crucified on, bled on and died on the cross and was risen on the third day defeating death and paving a path for us all to go to heaven through believe in him and his sacrifice.
Thank you for your story and may God the Lord Jesus be with you for all your days!

I’m right there with you sister! Healing takes our initiative and proactive in our own recovery. The Lord led me to Dr. Osborne’s Channel and not one Dr for the past 10 years has been able to help me identify why it is I’m so sick and unable to function. I no longer have these horrendous flare ups that felt like I was slowly dying for over 5 months now since I have been following Osbornes protocol in his book No Grain no Pain. I had no idea I was poisoning myself! I even got to the point where I started to think that maybe my narcissistic mother was poisoning me because her food was making me deathly ill. Now that I’m on a strictly Paleo diet the flares have stopped but the exhaustion is still chronic and pervasive. I’m going to put into practice Dr’s guidelines for healing the adrenals now and see if I improve. I gave up my one and only treat COFFEE and now I’m really starting to feel a serious crash even with decent sleep. I’m praying that the Lord will continue to guide me and help me restore my health so I can get back to my Calling!!!!

The reason why is explained in the first few pages of the book, ‘Adrenal Fatigue’ by James Wilson. The short story is it’s no longer taught to MDs. Was a known and cheaply treatable condition that all doctors knew how to treat in early 1900s. So scary how money rules medicine now..

One thing I would like to mention about stress. We were under a huge amount of stress for 20 years struggling to keep a business from failure. The financial stress took a huge toll, mental stress which leads to emotional breakdown and instability. It was a nightmare. We paid payroll/insurance/taxes and there was nothing left for us. We almost lost our house, I did lose my car, our credit was destroyed. . . etc.
I gained over 100 lbs and ended up with heart issues. That was nearly 15 years ago, and I'm still struggling with fatigue, lack of energy. I managed to lose about 95 lb. which is helpful, but I learned a frightening lesson: STRESS KILLS.

On point! I wish other medical doctors were required to watch this video. After years of being medically gaslighted, (you’re just depressed), I found someone who tested my hormones…with saliva testing morning, afternoon, late afternoon , and evening, and found that I was flat lined! Stage 3 adrenal fatigue. I’m now healing by taking many supplements, including adrenal grandulars, Gluten Free, Sugar Free, eating every 2-3 hours (a combination of protein, fat, fibre). I know it’s a long journey to health, and hopefully I will be able to exercise soon. This IS REAL.

Don't know if it's still available, but one could get injections of Adrenal Cortical Extract (ACE). Way more effective than pills. After a few injections you would feel such calm. Hypoglycemics were prime candidates. Maybe 30 years ago contaminated batches made people sick including deaths. So I think they clamped it right down.

I’m a musician so it takes lots of energy in the studio for hours and at gigs so it’s really hard to heal them 100%. As soon as I think I’m doing better and start working out again. My son was in a car accident and ended up in a back brace because of the 3 cracks in his vertebrae and the car was totaled wo any insurance on it, the title arrived literally the next day after the accident. My father passed at the end of 2020, my sister in law's sister committed suicide, both my cats died, I lost my job, I had to use my unemployment money for my son's medical expenses, I was clearing out my folks 2 homes filled with 30 years of stuff. I found my birth father's family in 2021 and have 4 new siblings but my birth father died in 2008. My mom died in March of 2023 and I ended up with such a severe sciatic nerve issue that I couldn't walk for 6 months. I got diagnosed with Hashimotos last year and had been dealing with thyroid issues for decades. My stress compounded over a 3 year period and I found myself wanting to die. I'm way better now but I had to make some major shifts. I'm gluten/grain free, sugar free, dairy free, alcohol free, free from pain and having my Alzheimer's parents pass was a huge weight lifted. Stress is a real issue I'm trying to find the right people to help me. I am walking 10,000 steps, meditating, taking an online childhood trauma class w a coach, I practice EFT and am slowly healing. Thanks for the information, it's a long challenging road.

Thank you for mentioning the relationship sources of stress. It's a great reminder. My husband is addicted to stress as his mother was more than likely a covert narcissist. She loved playing mind games with me and our kids, two of my kids in particular. I was raised in a very dysfunctional family myself so I just dismissed my husband and his family's dysfunction as something I just needed to accept, particularly since I met him when I was 16 (he was 23 and all these decades later, I now see that he groomed me), gave birth to our first child when I was only 18, he was 25, and that's exactly what he told me: just ignore it, my mother doesn't know what she's doing (she was a functional alcoholic), her mother, my husband's grandmother, was much worse, etc.
My husband keeps me up at night because he snores and flops around at night like a fish on a trampoline and then he shames me because like in your video, I am exhausted in the day and wired at night. Not to mention I always had jobs that kept me up at night and then I went to caring for his children at night while giving birth to 6 children for him. I ended up in chronic severe pain and fatigue after birthing our youngest child. And then he will occasionally, while he is getting ready for work in the morning, he will slam his leg or something into the bed where I'm sleeping and jolt me awake, scaring the crap out of me and causing a lot of pain when I'm jolted awake. He pretends he doesn't know what I'm talking about when I ask him to stop, claims he gently sits on the bed a so as not to disturb me but he's lying.
Then he confuses me by acting so sweet, pretends he only wants to make me happy and gaslighting me by saying the things he badgers me into are to please me. Like moving or family 45 minutes outside the city where he works and is kids have therapies, needed classes and our youngest child attends school. He only did it to prove he could build a house on his own by watching TH-cam videos.
I have been a SAHM for many years and never finished college. I can't just leave. Especially now that we have two special needs kids. He doesn't like paying for some of their expenses as it is. He will never properly provide for them if I leave. Also, living in the wrong neighborhood in this area is quite dangerous.
I know my husband is a huge source of my extreme stress but most people don't see it. I didn't until recently.

I got this splendid talk in my recommendation feed; what a professional, humane and pedagogic , clear Dr of som kind! I should gladly be his patient to heal my "impossible, incurable disease": Merely having wise examining and evaluating health talks, explanations by him and to be understood, supported, encouraged and instructed would help me immensely to get calm, safe, stable, hopeful, courage, will and the belief that there is any point in continuing doing/ aiming. Because constant sabotages, deceptions, abuses, negations, disinterest, prejudice and rash conclusins have worked to break me down and given new unnecessary illnesses. I want to heal and start living my life now. Thank you very much for the good talk.

This presentation is the best I have seen on this topic. So well presented. I see now that I have been in fact, flat-lined for a long, long time. I have exactly the manifestations you describe in the section on flat-lined symptoms. I've always suspected I was dealing with some sort of adrenal fatigue, (years of a chronic stress situation) but had not found the information that presented the symptoms so clearly, as well as the set-up/cause(s) for the condition. Thank you so much for this, sincerely, thank you. This gives me understanding and some direction to pursue.

I finally went to check all those hormones after I got a bone fracture while a really light injury at the Muay Thai training and I used to fight and got much worse ones and never ever had a fracture. Past two years emotional stress and lack of sleep lead to migraines and insomnia and after that it was on and off but mostly on. But only now I looked at it as a chronic stress. My diet was relatively healthy, worked out regularly and it came as a shock to find out that I got bones issues at 40 years old! Many won't connect these things. In this video its explained. high cortisol, low testosterone, low DHEA, low zinc, low protein etc some issues with kidney and liver tests.
Trying to fix it with TCM and gain as much information as possible to regulate it in the future. Gave up coffee, would have to switch to less inpack type of sport for a while, go on walks in the park. My diet is surprisingly in line what is recommended but the stress overruns it apparently. Only lack on zinc foods.

Wow, this was great, thank you so much. This is what I did a few years ago, very stressed and dealing with sudden grief, I went plant based for a couple of years and I deteriorated so much. My hormones tanked as a peri-menopausal woman eating high carb low fat, my iron and vitamin D tanked, muscles weakened as I was only getting about half the protein I needed each day, I was always so tired no matter how much I slept, hair fall, brittle nails & hair, dry skin, breathless, etc. At first, I thought it was helping me because I lost 25 lbs in the first 4 months, I later realized it was mostly water and muscle mass. I lost my curves with that weight loss, my energy, my sharpness of mind, it did a number on me. I’ve been working hard this year on trying to heal everything I ruined with whole foods plant based. Oh and all the weight eventually came back, though not as muscle.
