AR-1 Driver here. They really really really suck on the street. I had to drive to rain once and god damn, they slipped every time when i slightly pushed the throttle above 30% ish. And that was on a Subaru. I don't want to imagine what a RWD Car would do, especially if your'e not as experienced with slip.
Lol, i just started researching tires for my track car and this video is shot on the track where i am also driving 😅
You should redo the time attack on the track and compare times with the new tires!

For this summer in my budget i can choose between NS-2R the right size or thinner Ad08 . I don't know exactly what to pick.
2R and 08/09 have 99% same track time.. reson why people choose 2R is the price..

AR-1 is definitely not a budget tire
Compare to other track tires they are.. but not if ur daily them on street..
