So happy you picked up on the racist undertones of Tabitha in this interview if you check in the comments of that video literally everybody agrees. He handled it so well and with so much respect 🤍

I guess you can say 2Pac was so humbled about it because he already knew that some Caucasian people, well actually it was a lot of white people at the time that didn't understand or was too dense to understand the aspect of his life and he just answered every question as cool as he could. Plus he said plenty of times since coming out of jail that he changed, he didn't want to be on his all out rage and checking people like he used to do like in his 1993 interview with Blackwatch lmao. However it didn't make it ok for Tabatha to just be rude and ask him personal questions like that.

Sad part is a lot of music journalists and media folks back then(and today) conducted interviews like that when it came to black entertainers and some still do. You'll never see an Eminem interview where an interviewer says "Hey when was the first time you were introduced to Violence against woman" but they will ask 2pac about being a thug

Your reaction was perfect and hilarious, I felt like she was trying to get a negative reaction from Pac and when she couldn't, the frustration on her face showed so much for me. I think Pac knew this and did not give her what she wanted, because he learned from previous interviews that controversy sells, but only at his expense. Thank you boomer.

Pac had a lot more patience (clearly) with women than men in interview situations lol. He was professional, but he was on the defensive with his arms folded when she asked the generic questions. The interview would've been a lot more confrontational if Kurt Loder was asking him some of these same questions. Sorry, I could read your message about oldheads but I couldn't reply. It was deleted by you or TH-cam. Anyway, I wanted to say thanks for the info. And sorry about Black Beto. I've had to warn him before.

@@ABoomerReacts oh yeah, no worries. I deleted it because it was a stupid comment. I just find it weird that his newer albums somehow get bashed in the comment section. It's whatever tho. Don't let people make you think they are bad. In my humble opinion i believe the life of pablo is his best album but that's up for debate.

I like Tupac, but certain things were odd and didn't add up.
Like when he said he couldn't get his high school degree because he had to earn a living. Fair enough... But then he says he worked merely a month and a half - the pizza job and the supermarket job.
Looks to me like he didn't really want to work.
And sure, he didn't have rich parents that could enable him to go to college, but there were or still are plenty of kids who are in the same situation and fight their way through and become lawyers and whatnot. It's not easy, but its possible.
Then when he made it in the music business - which I'm glad that he did - he still was involved in criminal activities. I mean when you get shot at, shouldn't that ring a bell? Instead he talks "The police knows who shot me".
Yea big news, the public authorities are no angels... Shouldn't you worry that you don't surround yourself with shady people and don't get shot again? When you're dead, you're not going to be able to point with the finger at the authorities and blame them for not solving the case for the next 25 years.
Talking that he doesn't want to have kids in this world, but at the same time doing things himself that makes the world a bad place.
I understand that he was still young and that he was somewhat of a lost soul, but certain things should be taken with a grain of salt. I think Bill O'Reilly once said that he lived a life of dissolution.

I guess when you know that your passion lies in a vocation that can't be taught at college, you have few options other than self-promotion. I can see how Pac can seem like a walking contradiction sometimes. But one thing I never doubted was his good intentions.

That's true, and to be fair: The guy didn't get the chance to live a long life so he could reflect upon his past actions in a more rational way.
Whats paradoxical is that tragic things can have something good: This past summer I saw a girl wearing a 2Pac T-Shirt, and she probably wasn't older than 20.... And then I couldn't help but think that the guy would have turned 50 years of age this summer... Would that girl wear a 2Pac T-Shirt if he was still alive though?
Probably not... So he was like a modern day James Dean in the way that he became the man, the myth, the legend by dying young. An erratic young man with an attitude as the leader of the youth.

The racist undertones of your comment is like a beacon flashing in the night. "Looks to me like he didn't really want to work.." really? That's what you got out of Tupac's words? Maybe just maybe he understood working a minimum wage job wasn't the best option and taking on acting and music was. Maybe his limited options and resources led to his choices, but somehow he still became a millionaire by 25. He's accomplished more in his short life than you ever will.
So No he didn't get to got to college or become a cog in the wheel working for scraps like most of us. Pac shone bright. Despite his circumstances.

"...don't surround yourself with shady people..and get shot at..." It ain't that easy, and he was young and new to fame. Who knows where life would've took him had he got to grow old.
Leave it to folks who quote 'Bill O'Reilly' a "paragon" of "Values and moral fiber" to think they being helpful and empathetic while also parroting the same racist rhetoric. Again this man Tupac you looking down upon, left his mark. Doubt you will.
