The biggest red pill in this whole video is that you can have a favorite anime and still think it’s ~8/10 because it doesn’t compare to some of the rest of fiction, or art in general.
@@AJ-bg6ko Exactly. But people feel attacked so they dont want objective quality in art to exist. Which is an INSANE bullet to bite. Its like saying a day old McDonald's Chicken Mcnugget is on the same level as Gordon Ramsay's best dish. The truth is there are bad movies I love and great movies I hate.
people genuinely think they have to agree with everything their favourite youtuber says 🤣🤣that’s why they try and find ways to interpret his takes so that they don’t fully oppose their own takes
Pain a villain with a badass philosophy badass villain and does impactful things in the show. Chrollo a rip off Itachi edgelord that goes around stealing treasure. Akatasuki or Phantom troupe you ask. Whats better going around different places stealing things just for a bit of money TRASH GOAL BTW. Or going to different villages and capturing tailed beasts for a threat against humanity. U choose midxmid fans
I have a sinking suspicion that people love HxH not for what it is, but moreso for what they think it says. Whenever I hear people talk about the show they don't talk often about the characters or their actions or the arcs as they are displayed in the fiction but they'll talk about the themes, it deconstructing shonen tropes, how dark it is and how it's a """"""""""""""""soft Seinan"""""""""""""". A lot of it feels genuine, but most of it is just empty air and over analysation. I've heard so much dialogue about Gon. About how he's a sociopath, a character lacking humanity and controlled simply by instinct and how he's a subversion of Goku from dragon Ball and all I thought while watching it was 'hes ten. He acts like a ten year old kid'. Sure, he might be somewhat unique but this isn't Travis Henderson from Paris, Texas here. We're not watching twin peaks that have obvious allusions or clues to a larger revelation in its narrative. I've seen this kind of overtly pretentious conversation before with other anime, the two Biggest victims being Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop. Evangelion is allowed the licence of faux intellectual ramblings because it has those allusions. There's hidden narrative cues. Cowboy bebop, however, doesn't have that. It's themes and narrative is all on the surface and doesn't need much deeper delving. I've seen videos about the themes of economics in CB, and that's dumb. It all just feels very very insecure.
i dont think most hxh fans think gon is a sociopath haha most Gon fans actually like him coz of his childish traits, like him being selfish, stubborn, how he judges people based on how beneficial they are to him. He is simple-minded like that and also what makes him fascinating to his fans.XD
Lmfao deadass 😂😂I enjoy watching him rant lmfao shi be funny and he be spittin 😂cuz now that he said this I thought hunter x hunter was great but now looking through the stories plot and characters….their kinda bland.Compared to animes like Demon slayer Lol that actually has,Like he said Ambition for characters,Goals and dreams of their own lol,

Imo a masterpiece doesn't need to be a perfect 10 out of 10 the pros just need to outweigh the flaws like dark souls for example it has noticeable flaws but it's still praised for it amazing story, world, music, characters, combat, and artsyle.
Anything can be criticized really it's just that a lot of people who might not like hxh act like they actually do just so they don't receive hate. I personally love it but yeah
Hxh fans literally treat togashi like Jesus. Say things like "I wish there more manga like hxh" but ironically they usually get mad at authors who gets inspired by togashi.
I agree with seth hxh being 6/10 although in my opinion it's a 5/10. Too generic for fucking god. I like how seth talks about fans Being mind blown by basic concepts like gon caring about his friend more. Lmao But is does have hits from time to time.
Only as far in as his criticism of the training on Greed Island; yeah, it’s kinda weird that a guy with scissors is somehow a threat to the established child assassin with super speed.
My problem with HxH is Togashi's work ethic. Everybody talks about his back pain and Togashi has been riding that excuse for decades. Meanwhile, Tite Kubo was on his deathbed grinding out Bleach chapters until Shonen Jump rushed him to finish the story. The story lacks ambition because Togashi lacks motivation to finish the story. And BTW he will never finish the series. He should just write the story and let a more capable artist draw the manga so we can let this series end already.
ambition? the man wrote 2 masterpieces by the age of 60 (currently still writing).. hxh he wrote around the whole shonen mold and deconstructed it by carefully planning plotlines so they wouldnt be predictable like other mangas and anime... he planned out characters that to this day are probably some of the best developed characters in any series all that which takes place in less than 20 chapters... he invented a whole card game (greed island) and a board game (gungi) with its own rules, designs, and use that dont even exist outside of the world he created all for it to fit into the story... he basically wrote the 4 main characters just to have them not be together for the majority of the story... and to this day is on route to writing possible the most ambitious arc in manga history with that many characters and plotlines being explored all while managing to keep them intriguing all without even having the main character involved.. the man doesnt need to prove anything to anyone at this point this man is just doing extra in my opinion.. he showed his ambition by sticking to a working project for more than 20 years.. salute the legend dont discredit him by saying he lacks ambition.. thats a huge disrespect to his legacy
@@snakecharmr123 In order for something to be a masterpiece doesn't it have to be finished. He prematurely ended Yu Yu Hakusho and hasn't finished HxH. I give the man credit for having talent. But let's call a spade a spade, Togashi is more lazy than sick and that's why he will fall just short of being a true Goat.
Also on a side note, relating to Seth saying weeabos hyping their anime up. Did you guys see people are saying the attack on Titan twist of future Eren manipulating grisha is the greatest twist in all of fiction 😂
I’d rate HxH as an 8/10 at least, but I definitely agree that Chrollo’s character gets overhyped. The majority of his hype seems to come from intrigue rather than anything he actually does.
I'm Curious, Would You Say The Same About Shanks From One Piece? Assuming You've Seen It? I'm Sure Chrollo Has Displayed Significantly More Yet I Think Shanks Probably Recieves Even More Hype. Also. The Intrigue/Mystery Is Apart Of His Characterisation. So Much So He Himself Ponders Things To Understand Himself Better.
@@PlanetaryPluto unfortunately, I haven’t seen One Piece yet, it’s daunting to get into. 8 seems reasonable but the narrator drops the score to 6 or 7 for the anime's palace invasion arc like holy hell some one just shut him already and his stupid slow mos. A true 10/10 would be death note pre near and full metal alchemist brotherhood. Probably more but that's all i'm in the mood for.
My issue with HxH is Gon’s end goal of meeting his dad. I always found that goal to be boring. Gon and kite’s friendship was also a lacking one for me and Gon going ape shit for kite just made it worse. In terms of Meruem I really liked his character and consider him to be the best written character in HxH and a very good villain.
Maybe this is because I didn't see my dad often growing up but I always felt like a kid wanting to meet his dad and understand why he left him was a compelling and relatable goal. Although, togashi probably could've fleshed out that dynamic more
Talked about that in one of my videos. Gon's goal of meeting his dad was fine to me, but it was completely wasted and seemingly retconned with how Gon actually met his dad. He just kinda... ran into him. Extremely uneventful and anti-climactic.
Gon and Killua got kidnapped by the main villains of the entire show. Let's make the Phantom Troupe into a bunch of idiots who apparently have no idea how a hostage negotiation works. Two 10 year olds nearly escaped the heavily hyped vetaran warriors on multiple occasions then just when you thought the Phantom Troupe couldn't get any more pathetic. They stupidly let Kurapika dictate to them exactly what they are going to do and how they are going to do it like these supposed villains are little children. The Phantom Troupe actually let Gon and Killua go just like that.
The only thing I “hate” about hunter x hunter is the dumb “it’s a seinen dressed up as a Shonen” type arguments. It’s ok guys you like a Shonen. No one other than brain dead zombies are gonna say that you have bad taste 😂
The only Shonen I can see that applying to is Bleach. If Kubo was able to more freely express the themes of the story in a more mature way it coulda turned out a lot better.
@@MinatotheGreenLantern it’s like Seth said, people act as if Hunter x Hunter breaks so many molds but I’m like….does it REALLY tho? You know what I mean? Why can’t something just be good not this super unique thing that breaks every trope, you know?
@@that_stoned_nigga eh I think people misunderstand what seinen is. Seinen isn’t always a “mature” violent story like Berserk. For example my dress up darling is a seinen. So is dragon maid. Like seinen does not equal super mature story. There is cute girl anime/manga that are seinen like K-On. But Bleach could have been deeper if Kubo had more time I do agree with that Also your name is funny af 😂
So overrated, all this show was a snoozefest except yorknew and the first half of the chimera ant arc all the rest is boring slow paced content,Gon is a terrible main character and the cast is almost unexistent,Leorio is one of the most useless characters in anime and Kurapika is wasted potential, the phantom troupe is a bunch of terrible villains with no backstories/good motivations to be evil
It's close to a masterpiece coz a few movies sucked but the concept of a connected universe changed the game and had the world hooked for like a decade
Berserk has deeper and more intricate themes than Dark Souls, idk why Seth acts like no manga has the writing quality of Dark Souls, that's just not true (I literally am going to grad school for English and writing). Let's just be real there are masterpieces in manga- Berserk is a masterpiece, though it is one that will that forever remain unfinished. One Piece might be a masterpiece depending on how it ends; the length and depth of the world gives it a chance for a unique climax arc no other manga could stage. Marineford is its best arc yet and the Final War could be even better depending on how Oda writes it. The most impressive aspects of manga require consistency in art story and planning. One Piece's consistency in art and storytelling over decades (same for Berserk), is not seen in works like Naruto or Bleach and that's why they're just not as influential or well regarded in literary circles (Berserk and One Piece are discussed). The weekly grind in getting chapters out caused crazy retcons in Naruto and a lack of cohesion and interesting plot in Bleach, while One Piece and Berserk (like it or not) have a much more coherent and well planned out plot
Eloquently put, I’d also put Rainbow, Silent voice and Baccano!! To the list of some incredible literature. If movies can be regarded as a perfect storytelling medium so can anime, if books can be then so can manga And games etc.
Thing I don't get is why do people get so pissy about a difference in opinion. If Seth has Boruto as a 13/10 and Berserk as a 4/10 why should anyone give a fuck, that's his opinion it doesn't change ANYTHING about either series or your own personal opinion. People need to learn to mind their own business imo
You cant have an opinion in any anime fanbase without getting heavily criticized for it. I hate that shit. Niggas need to understand that just bcuz you like one anime that doesn’t mean I’m going to like it.
Because his opinion is based on blatantly incorrect statements. "Hxh lacks ambition" makes 0 sense, the ambition is established in the first chapter. His rant about the scissors guy was also stupid and dumbed down their whole training arc. The only valid criticism he had was "its boring" which is fine to think, because that's subjective, people have different value in what we find entertaining
@@OakBlu Yeah I don't agree with most his points either, but people in the anime community get seriously pissy about shit like this when it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. I'm sure Seth has had tons of discussions about HxH in his life and if none of those have made him change his mind on any of it then why bother trying? Just like what you like and move on no?

I get where you’re coming from but I disagree. Hunter x Hunter is definitely ambitious - I know you mentioned you like the Chimera Ant Arc, but that is a perfect example where the protag and the main villain don’t even meet once. That’s pretty ambitious and I can’t think of a good example of this elsewhere. The phantom troupe arc gets you a bunch of unique techniques and is ambitious for really complicating intersecting interests (Zoldycks, phantom troupe, the mob - not a good group but our hero is part of the mob, etc) I get if you’re annoyed by people overhyping stuff - I agree with that, it’s an 8/10 in my view (so only slightly higher than you) - a 10/10 in my mind has no flaws and hxh has many (the paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacing, Palm, etc) so if you just mean it isn’t a 10/10 then I agree
When I rate things on IMDb, you can’t do things by decimal places so it has to be the whole number. For that reason Id round up high 9s to a 10. So for me FMAB and Breaking Bad are 10/10.
I only get into animes if I watch some clips and something intrigues me and so far not even one hunter x hunter clip has been cool to me. My way of getting into anime sucks tho so my opinion is trash hahah
Especially at the end. Indeed, as if anime are the best stories in the history of fiction. Open the top 100 best books of all time and most (if not all) of them will be better than HunterxHunter. HunterxHunter is like a cheaper version of "Lord of the rings" without ambition.
Some of the biggest cap I've ever heard Seth say. It's a damn good thing he's a power scaler first and a writing buff fourth or fifth. Like, 7/10 isn't even an unfair score for HxH as a whole really but its all about relativity. I legitimately could not believe he sat there and called HxH unambitious or uninspired implying this is in contrast to its peers in shonen, homeboy is on crack. I hate to bring this up but if you want to talk about unambitious Naruto part 1 bites so much of HxH's archetypes and plot beats its not even funny. That aside and more importantly, the messages and ideas behind the chimera ant arc alone and their execution are levels beyond anything contemporaries aside from perhaps One Piece achieve in their storytelling. Some stuff in HxH is honest to god too good to be from a shonen series. Basically all of Naruto's messaging is a shallow mud puddle by comparison and I don't even dislike most of Naruto, it's just not on the same level imho, and ironically, I don't think it tries to be. HxH I would argue is too ambitious for its own good especially in its discovery based storytelling style, not the opposite. Just a completely detached from reality take, even if you don't dig HxH much to call it unambitious of all things is just mind boggling.
Why so bothered by his opinion? You should only worried about yours. Am sorry but honestly most of you HXH fans are biased, toxic, and extremely unaccepting. And this is coming from someone who likes HxH and thinks it’s well-written so far.
Bro Hxh is the best manga I’ve ever dropped. I just get super mad thinking about how togashis probably the most talented mangaka but really doesn’t care at all. Hasn’t drawn gon in the story for 7 years. The man gets on my nerves big time. Idk how he still has so many fans taking this abuse bro. It’s messed up. Only mangaka that makes me feel like that
@@Big_Biba I really think most of his fans are blinded by is talent. If he was literally in any other profession, he would’ve been fired 10 years ago. Work ethic this low is unacceptable
@@LeelosAdventure nah bro, he's said that he couldn't even wipe his own ass after taking a shit from the back problems he has (not paraphrasing). +Why would they fire him if HxH is still one of the most popular manga? I disagree on a few things. I guess it's what you consider makes something a masterpiece. But I consider something a masterpiece when it does something better than anything else. Even if that something is just pure enjoyment. Despite Dark Souls being rushed I would still say it's a masterpiece, as well as DB and Naruto and YuYu-Hakusho. I don't think something needs to be flawless to be a masterpiece, at least not for me.
I'm of the opinion (and I'm probably wrong) that objectively good and bad stories do exist. But when you enter the discussion of what makes some of those good stories better than other good stories, the discussion starts to become subjective at that point.
I love the anime you listed, and Yu Yu/Hunter are up there, but I certainly couldn’t consider Naruto or Dragon Ball ‘’ masterpieces”. On rewatches of Naruto, I skip the drawn out explanations. All the times they pause a fight for backstory, breaking the flow. It’s not a master piece if I enjoy skipping multiple parts & fillers.. Part 1 is fantastic shonen tho.
And hell, DRAGON BALL?? The Cell arc alone has so many logical/character issues. So many deaths, events, and transformations that could’ve easily been prevented if the MC’s weren’t plot-stupid. Masterpieces tie all that together.. well, near perfectly, or at least decently. (Not shitting on you, just that I disagree. lol)
@@ViltrumiteIsRite99 dragon ball also has a lot of complexity that a lot of people don’t understand. Dragon ball also has a lot more enjoyable content compared to other series since even the filler and movies are enjoyable.
I much prefer yu yu hakusho. Hxh is more complex but yyh is easier to take in. I’m not referring to the power system or the literary themes but the aesthetics. Yyh has more of what makes shonen good which is nostalgia and high quality aesthetics. Also yu yu hakusho is more grounded and actually more positive and less nihilistic than hunter x hunter. Either show could’ve been a 10 out of 10 but both series tried to take on more than Togashi could handle in my opinion. I like to imagine hunter x hunter is just the end result of what togashi would’ve come up with if the oppressive manga industry let him continue his run of yu yu hakusho back in the 90’s.
Personally I have A LOT of series that are in the 7-10/10 range, most of them won't objectively be 10/10, but I don't really care about that, it's enjoyment I value more than 'stepping away from the hype mindset' because it's just more fun that way and I get more enjoyment out of a series.
@@AlanJia8 because there's nothing unique there- there's nothing "mind blowing" about it. Yeah, this is what I thought was at the core of his JJK and KNY ratings. As for the two, their strengths are really execution more than ideas. Demon Slayer in particular seems to draw some pretty obvious inspiration from the first two parts of JoJo's. It puts its own kind of spin on it, but the idea of breathing warriors fighting man-eaters who can't walk under the suns light is pretty on the nose.
I 99% doubt that it's actually based off of JoJo's since people do assume that since things like Vampires and Breathing and the Sun and Swords and Water etc are all JoJo's References but that doesn't mean that anything that is similar to it is an exactly based off of it. There's other verses before JoJo's that have Breathing being connected to special powers that destroy monsters that die in the sun.
They called me a madman for saying I didn't like HXH. For me the issue is that I don't like any characters, and everything comes easy as hell to the characters. They don't have to work for shit and are op as hell
I think Seth's criticism of the training arc can be extended to the unnecessarily complicated battle system. HxH battle system has an extreme abundance of rules, and it becomes a giant cluster f**k in Succession war arc that is unenjoyable to read or to keep up with. Sometimes simpler battle systems are better than complicated one, turning pages into giant walls of text on how a characters ability work isn't what I would call the best battle system in shonen actions series, but so many people believe it to be.
I think it's a lot better to consume HXH as an anime rather than manga... i dont mind listening to the narrator at all in the anime... but yeah its the complicated battle system of HXH (not really that complicated 🤷♂️) that differentiates itself from others like Dragon Ball where the battle system is rather one dimensional.... but in all reality Nen isnt anymore complicated than Chakra or Haki
They think because it's complicated it means it intelligent. The chimera ant arc was so boring. I kept falling asleep while reading it. The guy in the pit is a nen user who’s stated to be stronger than gon and killua. It lasted 1-2 episodes and it was endurance training set by bisky. The rest of the training was enhancing basic nen techniques and time of use so endurance nen training also. Bisky followed them and decided to train them, you was in the nen entrance exam. It’s definitely above 7/10 your opinion is irrelevant, jk. Stating it lacks ambition is disingenuous, the ambition is prevalent throughout the entire series, the ambition in the greed island arc is to find more clues related to gons dad in the game hence the entire previous arc trying to obtain the console, become better nen users was also naturally part of it, defeat the bombers was the sub-plot around the arc and finishing greed island to again further the point of the arc which incidentally only took them to kite. It definitely didn’t lack ambition as you say. As for the other arcs, hunter exam was filled with ambition especially expressed for gon when he wanted both him and the assassin to pass in their fight, heavens arena was a training arc and they discovered nen (very ambitious character arc and world building), the mafia auction was centred around kurapikas ambition and desire to kill the troupe, I already went over greed island, the chimera ant arc had the most ambition considering the stakes the hunter association faced, gons rage to revenge kite was his ambition (definitely was not lacking), the desire/ambition was evident on the ants side wanting to birth the king take over the world which slowly dwindled into the kings love for komugi and respect for humans. I don’t really need to specify gons ambition in this arc, his desire to revenge kite was something spectacular and his character profile slowly changing after kites abduction/death was brilliant. Killuas personality had a deep change due to gon which was constantly expressed in narrator exposition as was gons. It was kinda lacking in like-ability and wasn’t very interesting with the whole episodes revolving around taking out pitous puppets and waiting for the attack. Other than those episodes being boring all the others I can say were pretty much good/amazing. It’s good, easily 8/10 imo.
Seth is a great powerscaler and entertainer but rating boruto above HxH and JJK and then claiming “i just have taste” is brutal💀 Oh also, I think that “random murderer” is a great character to show Gon’s moral compass. It’s a perfect demonstration of how he sees good and evil as black and white with no grey area. Gon is furious at the phantom troupe because they do atrocious things and then cry for their fallen comrades but accepts this guy who has also done atrocious things with open arms. The only difference between them is that gon directly benefited from one and not the other. At the end of the training he even thanks him and says something about how he’s a good person because they helped him. Also roshi is easily as random as bisky, and bisky being their first masters teacher makes her less random than him.
he literally never said that, he explicitly said in this same video that boruto is maybe a 6/10 instead of the 3/10 people think, while his rating for HxH is 7/10, watch the video completely before commenting. source: 8:23

For me the requiem is one of the greatest scenes I've ever watched, I thought it was one of the most unique things I've seen from a show and the music was god tier. Solid video though
Seth’s “ambition” argument is fucking terrible. Togashi wanted Hunter X Hunter to be incredibly long. It’s unfair to compare it to finished works like Naruto. Also his arguments are just terrible. It’s logical to assume there would be Nen users at the island. And it’s even more obvious that people would like to train Gon and Killua because of their obviously insane potential at such a young age. Also, Hunter X Hunter takes place in a world where people are brutal and ruthless. Seeing a 12 year old boy with the courage to protect his friends against a serious threat stronger than him is extremely rare. Is Naruto defending Tsunade against Kabuto not heroic? When Seth gets on stream he always says something retarded
I dunno. It’s not a bad anime by any means. But one problem I had with the anime is that they left out a really big part of gon’s backstory that make his motivations more understandable. I get he’s a naive kid and probably doesn’t understand that his father was a POS but I was just cringing at the fact that he wanted to be a hunter cause his father abandoned him to become one. That’s not someone to look up to. Like…At all. I know he wants to understand why being a hunter was more important than raising him. But some people have left their kids for no reason at all, so Ging probably would’ve left Gon regardless. So there was nothing to understand. Ging Quote on Quote; was a huge jerk. That’s it. Nothing more.
Dude I love HXH but when I tell people I like Naruto and YYH better and people tell me I don't appreciate good writing I just SMH. It's just so slow paced that it defeats the escapism for me. I get it aims to be unique but it forfeits literally so much of the hype it builds. Thematically, HXH is strong, but overhyped to oblivion. My biggest issues are I think the hunter association is too decentralized at this point to feel like they actually have any tangible impact on the world. I also think it ignored Leorio too much and as a huge fan, I prefer how Togashi handled the main characters in YYH. Lastly, the "secret" chest thing with Netero.. Dude. Such a cop out that to this day feels weak and uninspired.
It's just Seth being unable to talk about any series that isn't Naruto or Dragon Ball. He is unable to give a good take about anything not related to those two series. If he has Clyde with him, he might be able to talk about Bleach, but otherwise Seth is kinda garbage at talking about other anime.
Its so true, I love hunter x hunter but it feels like theres no point to anything. Its a fantastic world with a great power system and interesting characters but whats the point. Its like watching real life but not in a good way most of the time.
I'm surprised he didn't rant about One Piece not being a masterpiece I like it and I even grew up with it, but sometimes One Piece arcs go on for too long like Dress Rosa. I watched the anime and read the manga after Dress Rosa up to Wano
I low key agreed in that the Hunter exams were boring asf. It took me two times to get past that arc. Right after that when they went to the God tower or whatever its called and started to learn nen is when I know no longer had to force myself to get through. At that point I actually watched it out of my own intrest. Before I was just trying to see what the overhype was about. Safe to say I'm so glad I got past the Hunter exam arc on try two cuz the payoff was worth it. That said 7/10 - 8/10 is what I'd give it.

I have a sinking suspicion that people love HxH not for what it is, but moreso for what they think it says.

Kubo legit drew Bleach with a torn shoulder ligament while constantly getting colds. Now THAT'S dedication.

ambition? the man wrote 2 masterpieces by the age of 60 (currently still writing).. hxh he wrote around the whole shonen mold and deconstructed it by carefully planning plotlines so they wouldnt be predictable like other mangas and anime... he planned out characters that to this day are probably some of the best developed characters in any series all that which takes place in less than 20 chapters... he invented a whole card game (greed island) and a board game (gungi) with its own rules, designs, and use that dont even exist outside of the world he created all for it to fit into the story... he basically wrote the 4 main characters just to have them not be together for the majority of the story... and to this day is on route to writing possible the most ambitious arc in manga history with that many characters and plotlines being explored all while managing to keep them intriguing all without even having the main character involved.. the man doesnt need to prove anything to anyone at this point this man is just doing extra in my opinion.. he showed his ambition by sticking to a working project for more than 20 years.. salute the legend dont discredit him by saying he lacks ambition.. thats a huge disrespect to his legacy

That’s pretty ambitious and I can’t think of a good example of this elsewhere. The phantom troupe arc gets you a bunch of unique techniques and is ambitious for really complicating intersecting interests (Zoldycks, phantom troupe, the mob - not a good group but our hero is part of the mob, etc)
I get if you’re annoyed by people overhyping stuff - I agree with that, it’s an 8/10 in my view (so only slightly higher than you) - a 10/10 in my mind has no flaws and hxh has many (the paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacing, Palm, etc) so if you just mean it isn’t a 10/10 then I agree

@@craigime But pretty much everything in the show is very well executed, even if some aspects are overhyped.
Hunter x hunter slander = like from me
Yeah, this is what I thought was at the core of his JJK and KNY ratings.

I hate the fact that fans think because the power are so complicated that makes it intelligent
I thought they were going to do something different in the anime and they did the same thing. I fell asleep during the netero merium fight because it was nothing but narration

Seth is a great powerscaler and entertainer but rating boruto above HxH and JJK and then claiming “i just have taste” is brutal💀
Oh also, I think that “random murderer” is a great character to show Gon’s moral compass.

Mid x mid 6/10 is enough
