Now, to enjoy my own personal oasis at night, all of the solar lights come on automatically. It totally transforms the backyard. Enough light to see, dark enough to stay secluded. When the string lights are included in this, it is fantastic. With the new lights around the rhododendron bush, it is unsurpassed!

Wow! That all looks awesome! Man, the birthday bush really pops.
I can imagine taking a brisk walk at night, and then coming back to this. Then some pool time.
Simply scintillating! I do that every night. It's OK, I know I suck.
Absolutely, love the lighting. Job, well done!
Thank you!
Was definitely an awesome sight to see when I was there. You really made it great!
Yeah it came out nice. Made it great? What? I failed? Har har!
Now that's a backyard. Night shot was very nice.
Yeah, it's right down the road. It's all here, you can come by anytime.
Love it! Nice setup
Thanks very much!
I can remember the big party's you had but I guess everyone moved away maybe you could have a reunion? Looking great!
I've often thought about a reunion but the problem is, even if you give everyone 2 years' notice, they'll still not make it at the last minute.
I know that lights always look better in person than on camera, but having said that, I do like the fence lights, those are my favourite. The bush lights - the RGB perhaps not so much but they did morph into a sort of autumnal set of colours - I quite liked that! Looks more natural I suppose. Warm white on the bush would probably look amazing too. But like I said - completely different in person. Enjoy it for summer!
Oh absolutely, 1000% looks way better in person. I happen to like the RGB on the bush, always wanted a pop of color there to offset the rest. I had these tiny lights there, solar ones, in previous years. Also had a nice set of RGB solar lights I was considering putting there, but this set came along, it's wifi, I just so happened to have a spare outlet, it was a natural fit! And yes, the warm white looks great too for a change of pace. Had the fence lights on red, white, and blue for a few weeks and it was great, but now it's back to white. I'll leave the lamppost in the front red, white, and blue until Labor Day, then change it back.
Looks great. Brought to you by mostly leds. Would it be possible to do almost all of that with incandescent? I have also been considering doing some lighting projects in the back yard. Not sure if I should use incandescent or led, led sure encroaches in to every thing.
All of it can be done with incandescents, but the solar aspect, those batteries ain't gonna last long at all. Hardwiring it, yep, you can.
